This is the first character I've created in a long time, and not one which I've made specifically for an RP (I usually write the story first, then the characters to go in it... naturally). Don't be gettin' all harsh on me an' shit. :wacky:

Name: Taharka

Age: 138

Gender: Male

Race: Appears to be human

Elemental alignment: Air, Lightning

Appearance:
Hair: His seemingly white hair is slightly feathered, with his fringe reaching the tip of his lips, and the back touching his mid-neck. It is typically styled backwards off his face, though he is known to change it on occasion. It is presumed that his hair was once a fair blond, but has since lost the majority of its colouring. It appears white, but with a very slight golden tint.
Eyes: Not unlike his hair, these too have discoloured. From a strong blue, they have deteriorated to a haunting pale purple.
Height: 6'6
Weight: 217 lbs
Complexion: A healthy tan is present upon his face, creating a particularly large contrast between skin and hair. Despite his age, he seems to have retained a rather youthful facial appearance.
Build: His recent promotion to General has encouraged lengthy training periods with heavier swords than he usually deals with. He has a somewhat powerful body structure, and is continuously becoming more muscular. He is not as chiseled as some of his lessers though.
Attire: Taharka favours the colour brown, and as such implements this into his clothing colouration. His outfits are never of one shade; his common and formal garbs express less-than vivid light browns on outer layers, whilst his inner clothing is generally a darker tone. All his outfits have a kind of robe-effect when worn, and drape around him fashionably, further enhancing his elegant appearance.
Weapons: A single thin sword which greatly resembles a much longer Katana, and a set of six lances. Naturally he cannot wield all 7 of these weapons with his two hands - he utilizes his extensive power over the element of Air to keep them aloft and manipulate their movement freely.

The sword he carries is of no remarkable design, though the style of the weapon exudes elegance and grace. Its sleek design increases its vicious slicing capability. Capable of hurling crushing blast waves of wind.

The lances are a pale blue in colouration, appearing as though they are made of pure ice. They are -in fact- intensely compressed particles of air forming the shape of a weapon. Taharka can indeed summon various other shapes, but finds this design to most preferable. Each lance is identical (with the exception of one), and are adorned with what looks to be shards of ice acting as prongs - making them look more like tridents than typical lances. The individual lance is of exact design, though possesses a glaive-shaped blade rather than simple spikes. He often uses this in the same manor as the others, but occasionally wields it in his left hand whilst using the Katana in his right.

Armour: His armour has been worked on ceaselessly to perfection after 15 years of grafting. It is made from a light metal, so the thickness is greater than that of ordinary armour plates. Most suits of armour use clips to connect the likes of a breast plate to the rear, whereas Taharka's armour is effectively a suit in itself. Beneath the thick layers of metal on the outside, there is a flexible -yet incredibly sturdy- chain mail within, allowing complete freedom of movement without forcing the wearer to resort to robot-like actions. The joints of his armour are of this chain mail also, enabling to move around freely without restrictions, as though he weren't wearing it at all. Taharka has been planning on getting this artwork magically imbued to resist elements, though is running into complications doing so.

Abilities: Taharka's typical fighting style revolves around what seems to be telekenesis; hurling objects around an area of choice. The items which he chooses in question are generally manufactured weapons, and not the likes of rocks or debris which he could easily find on the ground. Utilizing his understanding of the element of Air, he manipulates the weapons with striking ease, often bewildering the foe before brutalizing their possibly already-worn bodies. He also uses his ability over lightning to his speedy advantage, swinging any blade with vicious and rapid succession. He works in circular motions, in the fashion of a hurricane and the like: this is most likely due to his elemental alignment. He does not possess overwhelming physical strength, however his abilities allow him to mentally bear his strikes down harder upon his foe, increasing the effect of every motion he takes; including movement.
It is unknown whether the Air Gem has enhanced Taharka's aptitude with this element, however it is certain that he draws incredible amounts of power from said Gem, allowing him to fully harness the element of Air with incredible ease.
He also uses telekenesis to effectively guide harsh bolts of powerful lightning from the skies to a location of his desire. Combined with his ability to control Air, he can focus multiple bolts into various -or singular- areas simultaneously. This takes time however, and cannot be performed on a whim.

Personality: A man of extreme pride, everything he does is enacted with immense dignity. From general conversation to direct combat, he engages the entity in question courtly, and elegantly.

His approach to combat can be misleading however, as beyond his endearing personality and looks is a heart of loathesome cold -- chilling any soul to cross its path. This is displayed evidently in his technique; although elegant, bloody and barbaric beyond all sense of morality. It is as though his mind is possessed with the very core of his abilities, forever tarring what could have been gleamingly pure.
For within this civilization, it is known that power corrupts. Even that of magics are not exempt to this belief; and not without good reason to believe it. Those who have been blessed with elemental alignments have all fallen to the hands of misdeeds and corruption, blindly following a path to power which seems to not even exist.

Character information: A man of aristocratic heritage, he was never without life's luxuries. His name adorned invariably with the light of fame - he indefinitely had the attention of the masses of whom came to support him greatly as he assumed high ranks in both the military and political branches of their civilization. He could do no wrong - in their eyes - and as such was a perfect candidate to lead them to further glory.
His past is far from shrowded, yet people never even consider divulging into it. Within the archives of the press companies, lies a lifetime of death, deceit, and misery were adorning the front pages of every publication, depicting the childhood of sorrow he lived through--alone.
This could well be the catalyst which brought forward a man of hatred and loathing, not just his attainment of power alone.
At present, he is the newly appointed General of his leader's personal army. He has yet to direct this army into combat, but he is eager to prove his leadership qualities.

Character impressions:
He will appear cold at a distance, yet slightly less-so when approached. He converses softly and calmly, offering a sense of security and comfort when talking to him directly.

Note that this profile will be submitted for use only within the Knights of the Old Republic 'team' role play, and is not an official character I am willing to use outside of said RP. I will keep adding to this profile to further improve its standard, as upon initial posting it's a little... sketchy.

Name: Darth Nihilus

Title: Dark Lord of the Sith

Race: Unknown humanoid

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Appearance: Clad entirely in swooping black robes of Sith making. There seems to be a thickly hewn robe wore as an under layer garment, overlapped over the torso by a slightly alternating black cloth acting as a vest of sorts. These two items of clothing are held together by a coal-black belt making his physical body more notable. A darkened cape of vast size clips loosely around his neck, draping over his entirety as a wave of jet black. The hood of which is always raised as to further hide his identity, to which a pale, skull-like mask contributes.

Facial features: Due to him being covered entirely by garb and mask alike, nothing can be viewed except for dark recesses where features would typically be seen on a person.

Height: 6'2

Weight: Specific weight is unknown.

Build: Slender, though a more detailed analysis cannot be provided.

Noteworthy features: The famous pale mask which encompasses his face is a daunting sight to any who behold it - friend or foe alike. It is the last thing seen upon a person's death.
Personality: Shockingly cruel, insanely immoral, with ruthlessness to match. He seeks nothing than complete and utter domination; no sacrifice too great, nor means too despicably cruel. He does not speak common languages, so no amount of conversation could allow a person to ascertain his full personality - merely the particular traits which earned him his horrific reputation.

First impression: That he would be inclined to slaughter you. Nihilus speaks naught but in ancient Sith tongue, so is often considered as confusing and condescending.

Weapons: Like all Sith Lords, Nihilus wields a deep crimson lightsaber of custom design. The hilt is of simple design; typical black colour and basic content-coverings to comprise a firm, slender handle.

Abilities/Skills: Darth Nihilus is adept at both lightsaber combat and the use of devastating Force techniques: moreso the latter.

Force Skills:

Force Lightning - non-lethal, but causes excruciating pain to the unfortunate target for as long as it's held. With enough exertion and power output however, this ability is capable of both targeting a large number of foes as well as kill them. Nihilus also uses this ability to the capacity of Force Storm, due to his ability to attack multiple foes simultaneously with this.

Force Bellow - this particular Force technique amplifies the users voice by a tremendous amount, to such an extent that the destruction of solid objects was even possible within an extensive radius of the user. Can also be used for communication, though is used little for this purpose.

Force Confusion - a powerful Sith-orientated adaptation of the Jedi Mind Trick, which could potentially allow a number of Sith's combined efforts to make an entire army fight for the cause of the user. The longevity of the effect is indeterminable, but Nihilus has learned to refine this ability to such an extent that he can utilize it for a number of months at a time before the effects expires.

Force Breach - this enabled Nihilus to disorientate the target (though works more efficiently with Jedi as it tackles the foe's concentration) - thus temporarily eliminating the ability to use Force abilities.

Force Vision - Nihilus can divulge deep within the Force in order to find a potential future. This ability requires a considerable amount of concentration, and generally cannot be used in loud, disruptive areas.

Force Wave - a more powerful and far more advanced version of Force Push. This would tackle an incredibly wide area at an even greater radius of the caster. This is not especially damaging to a foe, but can irresistibly hurl any adversary backwards.

Force Drain - Nihilus' speciality amongst his comprehensive list of skills. He, to date, is the only user of the Dark Side to have mastered this ability beyond perfection, as he ultimately gained the ability to drain an entire planet's life, including its inhabitants, with sheer force of will alone. This rejuvenated Nihilus from any wound received, should the technique be held for long enough.

Force Crush - would raise the singular foe from the ground as they are mostly immobilized, shortly followed by a crushing sensation as the body of the victim would start to implode on itself. Not especially useful in group combat, though is more than effective for dispatching a singular foe slowly, painfully, and assuredly. Nihilus however prefers to use this on civilians as opposed to 'worthy' adversaries.

Lightsaber-based skills:

Force Weapon - although Nihilus never had to use this ability during the Jedi Purge, he implemented this into his already formidable assault. This allowed Nihilus to empower any weapon with the living Force for a time, allowing the damage to be greatly increased. This also enabled the blocking of lightsabers.

Telekinetic Lightsaber Combat - not an ability Nihilus had worked especially hard to control, yet was able to wield up to two lightsabers simultaneously with little exertion. The blades often fought in a rotary fashion to confound and bewilder the foe.

Quick history: Nothing is officially known of Nihilus' past, though some speculate he was once a Jedi Knight before descending deep into the Dark Side of the Force. However, there is little -if anything at all- to reinforce this claim.
Nihilus first rose to fame as a student of Darth Traya, who then accompanied with Darth Scion would found the Traya Academy, in which they trained Dark Side adepts into Sith warriors.
The most noteable act of his, was when he wholly consumed an entire race with Force Drain, bar one individual. Even the planet itself did not escape his wrath.

Well then, since this character is being used for URPGs, I have no issue with him. You've just gotta put it past the RP Master of that RP ;)

Kit Fisto leads that RP, right?
