I'm almost done moving the things I wanna move from my netbook over to my new laptop, and I'm planning on selling it because frankly, if I'm not moving stuff off of it, it's not getting used. The keyboard's too small for my nephew to work it easily, which was my original plan, so now I'm just gonna sell it.

How exactly do I go about clearing it out to where everything's gone? Like, the stuff I don't save, how do I restore it to wipe it all off? Because I don't exactly remember seeing a factory restore in the settings, but it might be tucked in there somewhere. :hmmm:

The netbook, btw: Acer Aspire One D257, Windows 7 Starter/Ultimate (Came with Starter, but I knew a registry hack to turn it to Ultimate. I'd expect it to go back to Starter once I restore.)

So, big thing about this: I don't have any disk to put in to do this, which from what I understand, a lot of computers tend to have (though my new laptop doesn't so I don't know. :hmmm: )so I was just wondering how to do this.

Firstly, make sure to use a data destruction software, you can find them online, and they 100% wipe out your hard drive. After that you can reformat the hard drive if you want.

Secondly how old is the computer exactly? Anything more then I say 3-4 years probably wont get bought unless someone uses it for dummy parts and that is only for like $40-50 maybe....

It's a year and a half old, Manufactured in August 2011, and I purchased it September 23rd 2011. Has no warranty on it at the moment. Should I mention that or just let them take it? :hmmm: I'm posting this on a Buy/Sell/Trade thing on Facebook.
