A Tale Of Technology and Demons

Story
In the year 2400, technology has advanced dramatically. Problems from the past, such as Global warming and extinction are over due to the fact that the Earth is now 86% artificial, making it so that the plants, trees, and air of the earth is invincible from any sort of harm such as pollution. The Ozone layer has been strenghed by 30 Space Stations surrounding Earth that provide yet another layer, a layer that is completely unbreakably. The Earth is now save from itself, being completely invincible from the harm of pollution...but there is one problem...

Recently, demons of the underworld have found a physical link between the Underworld and the Earth...for after many years, Demons have managed to connect to the human's greatest source of transferring information. The internet.

Before they discovered the internet, there was only one means on contact between the two worlds. The Rituals that Cults perform. Them Rituals only gave a ten second mental communication between the demons and the Cult.

One Cult in particular, "Grimme" have managed to centre themselves in this story...them being the one's that have assisted the Demon's means of physical connection. "Grimme" were the ones that thought of connecting that thought of bringing the demon's to the Earth via the internet...

One Scientist, Dr Marilyn Belkam, finally created a way of teleportation via the internet, she called it, "The Doorway." News spread of this upon her creation of it...but 5 days later, her plans were stolen by "Grimme"

"Grimme" had one of their men memorise the plans for "The Doorway" and performed another one of their Rituals to put through the plans to the demons so they may create one of their own...

It took the demons the total of 15 years before finally creating their own, and "Grimme" had to relocate at least twice a month due to them being frequently chased down.

When it finished, "Grimme" had located itself somewhere in the North of Russia. "Grimme" had performned one of their Ritual's...the last they would need...The Demons told them they are ready..."Grimme had turned on their "Doorway" and as did the Demons...

"The Doorway" glowed a bright white light, The Cult cackled menacingly, their plans have finally come to life. The First Demon stepped through the door...He looked around, and smirked...

Then countless other demons came from "The Doorway." The room was full of them...The First Demon then revealed demon wings and began flying, making sure everyone can see him,

"Now is our chance! We shall claim this world for our own!" He shouted

The Demons cheered, as well as "Grimme..."

The Demons have now spreaded out throughout the entire world, some weak, some unspeakably powerful. They are ready to destroy the world...who is going to stop them...?

With that, The first attack shall be in Yakutsk, Russia. So if you want to take part immediately, try and place your character there, of course, the demons won't have much trouble.

"always wanted to visit there" Gunnery muttered as he booked a plane to the Arctic Circle. "time to go" Gunnery said as he boarded the plane, double checking his internal systems in case anything happened on the way there.

bright blue eyes stared up at the ceiling, Stephen's thoughts on why he is in Yakutsk, Russia. the duvet that only covered his lower half flew off as Stephen threw it moments before he sat up. he lifted his feet off of the bed, placing them on the floor he stood up. Stephen then walked over to the sink and splashed cold water on his face. as he came out of the on suite bathroom of the hotel he was staying in he looked outside to the battered city "Another day in paradise".

He opened the wardrobe that held his clothes, grabbed a pair of his black wrinkled jeans and slid them on over the boxer shorts he had changed the night before, as the Alarm clock began ringing out it's bell Stephen smirked, 7 am time for work again, Stephen strapped his Holster onto his right thigh and pulled his loaded Beretta from under his pillow, he flicked the safety on and slid it into his holster, he then clipped the top together to hold it in place. he sighed as he grabbed a T-shirt and tucked it into the back of his belt.

he exited his room and walked to the elevator. he stepped in and pressed the 'G' button. BING ground floor reached here we go again, he walked out of the elevator and headed to the car parking lot. after finding his Subaru he drove to Work, the local police station.After picking up his L96 Sniper rifle and Assignment he went straight back to his car to go to the designated Vantage point as he drove he heard his Supervisor talking to him through an ear piece that was with his Assignment.

upon his arrival at the vantage point Stephen set up his rifle and pointed it down to the area in which the 'target' would be. the target being the leader of the cult known as 'Grimme' as he got sight of him the rifles sight was hovering over his head, target locked, as his finger moved over the trigger Stephen noticed a glowing Computer screen, "what the fuck" he thought as he watched a black creature jumped out of it, spread it's wings and take flight.

the portal to the underworld had been opened, and it would seem like the world would never be the same, Demon after Demon sprang from the portal and Stephen was given an abort order as it would be to dangerous for him to take the shot when all of the Demons in the direct area.

Well, seems that it's time to put an end to this... before it even starts. Thought Hydra, who had been living the war for over 250 years. Now the world was completely changed, there were only a few places that had not been affected by war, either due to recruiting or due to a demon attack. Both sides had had heavy losses over the years, but it seemed as if the humans were losing the battle, mainly due to the short lifespans of the human.

Tired of this endless battle, Hydra decided to try the latest power he had acquired... the ability to time travel. However, it was a very hard magic, and it would drain up all his power... even if it didn't work. It could even backfire and result in something completely wrong. I have to do this, even if it doesn't work... even if it goes wrong... this war has lasted long enough, but... this time, the humans will have one advantage: information... With this, Hydra focused all his power, and prepared for the spell.

A blinding white flash covered the whole forest, and when it subsided, the forest went back to its normal state. Hydra was left unconscious somewhere near the great lake. Being lucky, a passerby found Hydra, and decided to find him some shelter.

"Wha... Where am I? And which time is it? Erm..." Uttered Hydra as he woke up. "Hey, man, you shouldn't try to move yet, you're still weak, did a bear or something attack you in the forest? Oh, and you can call me Earl" Hydra couldn't say that he had just arrived from the future... but... had he really managed to get to the year 2400? "Huh, yeah Earl, something like that, I... I'm not sure myself. Anyways, I really need to know what times it is..." Searching for his calendar, Earl stumbled with a chair before finding it. "Ah, here it is, so today is... January... 3rd" Okay, at least I've changed the day, but now... "Hm... I need the year, my head is still spinning..."

"Oh, well, it's the year 2400, the start of a new period." Success! But now I've got to tell everyone of what will happen soon... hopefully it hasn't started yet...

After packing up his Rifle and un-holstering his Beretta Stephen began running back to his car. He was Intercepted by a small Demon with hardly any physical strength, it looked like it wasn't fully grown somehow, it began Snarling at Stephen who pointed his Beretta at it "Sorry mate, but you don't belong here" he announced before pulling the trigger. the Demon was killed instantly as the bullet passed through its brain, Stephen hit the unlock button on his car key and his car beeped to signal it was open. Stephen shot his back window with the Beretta and threw his rifle in the back, he then got in the drivers seat and Started driving.he headed straight for the Police station who would undoubtedly know already.

Ruckal stepped out of the portal, walking at a slow speed. He took a quick glance at the base that he entered...

This place...it is not worth left standing...Ruckal thought to himself, with a disgusted look on his face,

Ruckal then went to leave the premises, walking slowly. When a member of Grimme approached him from Ruckal's left...

"Why not stay behind for a drink!" The member shouted in a drunken stuper.

Ruckal stopped, but said nothing, not even bothering to turn to that man talking to him, instead deciding to still face the way he was heading.

"Ah come on! Let's celebrate before we..." The man then went to put his arm on Ruckal's shoulder.

Before the man's hand arrived, Ruckal instinctively plunged his left blade right through the man's chest. The man spat out blood as the blade got through. Blood oozed down Ruckal's blade. Ruckal then kicked the man off his blade, sending the man flying into the wall. The man crashed against the wall, shouting in pain as he made the impact. The man then struggled to breath. And sent into a slow death...

Ruckal then left the building, to see the outside world of this place.

as Stephen arrived back at the police station he didn't even turn of his engine before he sprinted in to inform the chief "Sir, the demonic portal has been opened" the police chief "shit," the police chief then turned on his intercom and ordered an all out attack on the base, i don't care about the casualties stop the demons where his exact words.

Stephen took note of his words and sprinted back out to his car, he jumped in and doubled the speed limit back to his sniping point, he loaded his gun and began shooting Demons in the head "get *BANG* OUT *BANG* OF *BANG* MY *BANG* DIMENSION *BANG* he shouted as he shot at the Demons

"Yakutsk, Russia," murmured Faith Crest, as she was finished looking at the town through her binoculars. "The locals say it's like a ghost town. But there has to be a deeper story behind it ... can't trust anyone anymore. Not since that demon attacked me back in my own time." She put her binoculars away and wrapped her black scarf around half of her face. It was cold here in Russia. Four hundred years in the past, Faith had never quite made it to Russia. But now she was here, she didn't know what to make of it. Was it like this back at home? "I have to find a way back home and it starts with that demon," she muttered under her breath, slipping her fingerless gloves on. And with that, Faith entered the town, not knowing what to expect.

The locals were right. Yakutsk was like a ghost town. No one was around, making her prone to attack. But Faith had been fighting for the past month just to save her own life. Wherever she went, demons would normally be there to stop her from saving people's lives. As weak and as normal as she was, Faith was no ordinary human. As a matter of fact, she was half alien. Half Zildaanian, to be more precise. The Zildaanians were a race not to be easily underestimated; they were viewed as an evolved form of humans, breaking the barriers that humanity had been unable to. As aware as she could see, Faith was the sole heir of the Zildaanian race in the year 2400. It annoyed her to no end because she couldn't call on her fellow Zildaanians.

To this point, Faith was wondering if Zildaan even existed anymore. She looked up at the now red sky, as she thought about her home planet. Well, Earth was her home planet, of course, but Zildaan was her true home. It had been where her father hailed from. Torn between Earth and Zildaan, Faith was like an ambassador for both planets. Not many knew of Zildaan's existence or even the forbidden existence of Faith herself. She was not meant to be alive; humans and Zildaanians were never allowed to love each other. A forbidden love formed between her parents, one that produced Faith out of it. Unfortunately for her, Faith hadn't been able to find her parents. Her mother was believed to be dead. However, her father ...

His spirit had been trapped in a crystal, where he would spend eternity watching life and death continue. Faith had ultimately tried to break the curse, but had been unable to do so far. Brushing her past aside for the moment, Faith came to a halt when she sensed that they were here. Demons appeared out of nowhere, as if from the air, to surround her. Pulling out her guns from her holsters, Faith raised them and her black scarf whipped around in the violent cold air. "Here we go again!" she muttered angrily. One demon lunged at her, as if it was trying to get her throat. As much as she'd like to play around all day, Faith shot it in the chest and it faded into dust. She did the same with the others almost effortlessly. "Bastards," she growled.

(OOC: Just so you know I'm changing a few things about Rene, I'll update his bio after this post.)

Rene walked through the town silently, it was quite dark now but the sky was slightly red with the remaining demon magic still floating in the air. Rene walked forwards and smiled as two demons suddenly appeared, barely a few meters in front. One of them was very tall and had long pincer like arms whilst the other was short and fat with very thick powerful arms. Rene stood still as the two demons stared at him.

"Reckon he can see us?" The tall one asked his counterpart. Rene stayed stod still and still did not look at the demons.

"Hmm... Maybe. I've heard that humans have been able to see us lately." The short fat one told.

"Oh well, humans are humans. Let's kill 'im." The tall one said once more. At this point the tall one leaped high into the air, hoping to slash Rene in half. Rene smiled slightly as he flicked his white katana up slightly with his thumb before grabbing it with his free hand and cutting the demon in half. The demon's body fell into two pieces and gurgled on the floor slightly before dying. Rene whipped his blade down towards the ground, getting rid of the blade on the blood and quickly sheathed it.

"YASMOS!" The short fat one screeched. It died almost an instant later. Rene had swished forward with his blade once more and cut the second monster in half. Rene sheathed his blade once more and hid it with his long cloak.

"Small fry." He tutted continuing forward. He crossed his arms under the cloak and walked towards the buzz of activity. "I assume this is just the first squad. Weak demons with a pathetic commander. I doubt a Demon Lord has even come." Despite this Rene knew that for the safety of earth he would have to find a way to shut this gate. As he thought this however he was suddenly surrounded. Roughly around 20 demons, the same level as the two previously formed a large circle around him.

This is far too many to just be a wave, Rene thought as he kept his eyes covered by the black hood, perhaps I am too late and the gate in completely open?

"Gragh! Are you the human who killed Yasmos and Yuri?" A demon snarled at him.

"And if I am?" Rene said smirking slightly. He had his hand on the hilt of his blade, just in case they decided to attack suddenly.

"Then we'll gut you here and now!" Another demon screeched loudly.

"Shut yer yap." Rene snapped at the demon who spoke. "Is there a Lord here?"

"How does a mere human know about the Demon Lords?" A female demon demanded.

"Did I ever say I was a just a human?" Rene asked loudly, throwing his cloak off him and letting his hair return to it's normal place. His medium length black hair reached just to above his dark red eyes. He smiled at the demons and asked his question again. "Is there a Lord here? Or will I have to kill one after the other to get an answer?"

The portal between the demon world and the human world, was opened. Kuyo entered it with a look on his eyes of curiosity. He steped on a pudle of blood. "This is not demon's blood..." he looked around and saw a dead body on the ground. "Already making friends... Humans don't even know what we are capable of..." he said while walking towards the exit. His eyes weren't prepared for the humans light and his eyes blinked a few times. "This sounds a good research planet. I'll begin immediatly but, first let's find a good shelter. I don't like the smell of what's coming." he quickly ran to a nearby abandoned building, searching for something to drink and eat.

After thanking Earl, Hydra sped off and in just a few minutes reached the village just outside the forest.

"And this... village is?" Said Hydra as soon as the dust settled, he had now recovered enough to keep this speed, yet he wasn't sure if he would be able to use his powers correctly. He sensed a great power source nearby, which could surely enhance his abilities if he absorbed it, but if it were so powerful, it wouldn't be so easy to take. Now, now, this is the source that no human had found, and that was later used by the demons to help them in the war... let's see what happens if I get this... and thus change what happened...

"This? Oh, 'tis but a small farmer village near Yakutsk" Said a peasant who was passing nearby.

"Yakutsk! That's where..." Definitely, it is where everything started... Yeah... Looking at the mans reaction, Hydra replied "Um... thanks mister" And with this sped off towards the power source, before heading to Yakutsk... Unless they were in the same location.

Upon arriving this new place, Hydra found himself near the entry of a small cave. Hm... so this is it, eh? A cave? Well, this calls for a lantern. With this, Hydra took out both his daggers and focused his power into his fire dagger until it ignited. Seems I still have enough power for this... heh... Well, there we go... Let's see what I must do to obtain this new power... Now having light to be able to see and his daggers prepared for any fight Hydra continued.

After a series of tunnels without any sign of life, Hydra found a series of incredibly big bees. Pfff! There's nothing better in this cave? As soon as he saw them far into the tunnel, they flew at him, as if to sting him. Without much effort, he scorched some of them with his already ignited fire dagger, and then sliced the rest of them with the other dagger. These insects continued to show up every few meters, and each time more and more of them appeared. Dammit, I'm getting tired of these stupid bugs...

After dealing with a group of over 50 bees he finally stopped encountering them so often, but now another kind of foe appeared. This time it were not mutant insects, but some kind of alien beings. Now, this is strange, there shouldn't be such mix of beings in this time... Unless the Zildaanians arrived before what our history says... whatever... This is fun though... The plant-like being tried to attack Hydra, but it's stem wasn't long enough to reach Hydra. Well, If this is attacking me, I gotta return the favor! And with it he sliced the stem of the plant, which served only to free it from it's fixed position. Aw, forgot that this things are able to live even without being connected to the soil... "Well, buh bye!" Said Hydra as he pointed his dagger to the 'plant' and focused even more power into his fire dagger, activating his fire sword ability, and instantly killing the threat.

Strangely enough, he found little more foes like that last one, as well as of the bees. but this could be explained due to the fact that the power source was incredibly near. Well, the source must be protected by some kind of guardian, whether mutant, alien, or even demonic, he had no idea if the war had started yet, for the village he was in was perfectly well. So, either it hasn't started or it has barely started. In any case, I gotta get this thing fast, before the war breaks out...

"Guess I will have to look for him or her myself then." Rene said to himself as he sheathed his katana once more. Everywhere around him the corpses of the dead demons began to turn to dust. He clicked his fingers and a long black jacket suddenly appeared on him. "I am near the gateway." Rene said as he sensed another surge of energy. This is different, Rene thought as a powerful surge suddenly erupted causing Rene to stumble ever so slightly, not a lord but perhaps one of the captains?

"This may be fun after all." Rene said as he began to walk to the center of the strange energy. "Perhaps this demon can point me in the direction of a lord." As he closed in on the energy he realised just why the energy managed to make him stumble slightly. A captain had come on to the scene. Rene did not know if he was alone or with his battalion of infantry. But knew that he would be no match for Rene, the only demons who would most likely make him even sweat would be commanders and Lords. Then he saw him and instantly recognized the pure green eyes of evil.

"Hiryuu" Rene said bluntly, loud enough for the demon to hear and turn in his direction.

"Well, well, well!" Hiryuu shouted happily. "Aren't you the human lover Skylar?"

"That's right." Rene told him. The demon had a huge battle axe in his right hand and was already standing over a corpse of a human girl. Barely 14 years old. "I demand that you leave now and never return Hiryuu! Take the rest of your men and leave!"

"Sorry buddy, can't do that. Lord Genra would kill me." Hiryuu told him, he was alone, obviously he had sent him battalion to kill endlessly. Rene began to laugh. "Hey! What's so funny!"

"You're such a stupid fool." Rene told him.

"Don't call me a fool you little termite! You may have been a lord but everyone knows that if demons spend too long in the human world there powers diminish!"

"Don't you know?" Rene asked him chuckling. "I'm half human." Hiryuu's eyes widened and he began to shake violently.

"Im-Impossible!"

"No, just unlikely. And if you're Genra, the tenth Lord and most weakest of them all, if you're his lackey then you too must be weak."

"P-Please! Don't kill me!" The demon begged. Just looking at the demon made just spit in disgust.

"And to think, I once called you comrades. Now where is Genra?"

"Heh heh, as if I'd tell you!" Hiryuu shouted, charging forward. Rene barely managed to draw his blade in time to stop the demon's huge axe from crushing him into two. Damn, Rene thought, how can he be so strong!

The demon began to laugh deeply which annoyed Rene extremely. "A lot has changed boy. I am a thousand times stronger than I used to be. The only reason I am not a Lord is because I am not nobility!" He gathered his strength only slightly and pushed down on Rene's blade, causing the ground beneath his feet to go lower from the pressure.

"Heh, guess I was right. This fight might be fun after all." Rene said chuckling. He had been looking at the ground the entire time but now whipped his head up and stared into the demons green eyes with his own dark red ones. "Let's battle!"

"man stupid late flight" Gunnery muttered as he finally came over to the demonic portal. His flight had come in late, after announcing that they would be late getting to here because of the demons. It was at first they wouldn't land period, but Gunnery persuaded him to change his mind. Once there, Gunnery made his way over to the demonic portal. "Ok then let me see, high explosives, check. flamethrower check. sniper rifle check. demon killer specified bullets" Gunnery opened a piece of his left arm. "check. Ok night night little demons" Gunnery pulled out a clip of bullets and slapped them into his sniper rifle. He then aimed for the foot of one of the demons and shot it. The demon screamed, then burst into small flames which cascaded down. "hmm good idiot demons" Gunnery said firing at another.

Ruckal caught his first glimpse of the outdoor. The brightness of this realm's sky slightly blinded the Demon. He sheilded his eyes with his right arm and slowly put his arm down as he got used to it.

"This Light...it's blinding..." Ruckal whispered to his self,

Ruckal then walked on. Bloodshed had immediately begun. Though since they had not reached very far yet, it could only be a small amount of bloodsheed. The area not being well populated.

Let us see the fighting strengh of these beings...

Ruckal then walked forwards and begun looking for a challenge...

Which one of these wretched beings dare to cross blades with me...

"So are you part of the infantry still? Or have you moved on to the commander class?" Rene asked as he pushed Hiryuu backwards. He rested his katana on his shoulder and smirked at the demon.

"Heh, I've been a lieutenant for over a 1000 years now fool." Hiryuu told him, bringing his axe down hard on the ground. The demon sent a dark shock wave towards Rene, but instead of jumping out of the way Rene put his hand forward and allowed the shock wave to collide with his palm. Powerful energy rushed past Rene's body but the shock wave stayed still. Rene smirked slightly before curling his hand into a fist and throwing it to the side. The shock wave deflected into the ground and caused a impact in the ground.

"You believe a weak attack like that will defeat me?" Rene asked as he rested his katana's tip on the ground. Hiryuu smirked at him and didn't seem at all perturbed by Rene's strength.

"Of course not, for an ex-lord having to even block an attack like that is an insult." Hiryuu told him, revealing the truth behind his attack.

"Ahh, so you meant to insult me?" Rene asked smirking. "How deceptive of you."

"I'm a demon, deception is one of my many skills." The demon told him, cackling slightly. Hiryuu didn't allow Rene to talk again as he rushed forward and smashed his axe down on Rene's sword. Rene once again could not believe that a simple commander was so strong. If he was that strong then the lords must have become even more stronger. Still Rene knew he could easily beat him. Rene pushed him back once more and threw his free hand into the air.

"A bull like you needs a whip." Rene told him smirking. "Hell whip." As he said this, a long whip made completely of fire appeared in his hand. He cracked the whip against the ground and smirked.

"Ahh, so you still have the ability to use your Demon Magic hmm?" Hiryuu asked him.

"Of course, now it is time for you to die." Rene shouted. He cracked the whip once more and sent it forward. It wrapped itself around the handle of the axe, Rene pulled on it but knew he wouldn't be able to get the demon to release it. Instead he threw himself using the momentum from the pull and kicked the demon powerfully in the face with both feet. The demon was sent flying back but Rene still had the demons axe on his whip. He cracked the whip upwards and threw the demon high into the air. Rene dissipated the whip and charged forwards as the demon fell. In an instant Rene was past the demon. He had completely decimated both the demons arm and leg. As the demon screamed in pain, Rene stepped towards him.

"Where is your lord?" Rene demanded of the demon.

"I WILL NEVER TELL YO-!" Rene cut off the demon by stepping on the remainder of his arm.

"Either way Hiryuu, I will kill you." Rene told him, resting his blade against the demons neck. "Tell me where Genra is!"

"Kill me fool." Hiryuu told him. Rene was highly tempted to do just that.

"No, I will allow you to return your world and heal. Our next fight however. I will kill you. Get stronger Hiryuu."

Kuyo saw the fight between the almighty commander Hiryuu being defeated by an unknown. Who is he? Better yet, what is he? Kuyo then ran to his side as Rene has ran off using his speed. "Hiryuu, Tenth Commander of Lord Genra. You know what will happen if you return to the "other" realm, don't you?" Kuyo wonder him with a smile on him. "Who are you to speak to me like that... I may be injured by i'm still-" Kuyo's white scythe was on his neck. "You shouldn't be worried about me. You should be more worried about yourself." Kuyo took his scythe out of his neck, made the scythe disapear and started to walk in direction of other possible energies. "Hiryuu! If you go to the demon world, your dead; if you stay here, you'll regenerate slower but, if you come with me... that's a diferent story my friend." he started to walk away while Hiryuu was thinking of a way to get out of his mess. "Stranger, tell me your name and i'll go with you..." Kuyo looked to him with a smile on his face and said "My name is Kuyo. Kuyo Kamino. More known as "Mad scientist". Now hurry up and come, we have work to do..." Hiryuu had a crazy look on his face. To be able to encounter such person was truly terifying. But he had him to help him. Kuyo caught Hiryuu by the colar and made his way.

(OOC: Kuyo, I cut off Hiryuu's arm and leg so he cant move so change your post so you go to him and I give you permission to say Rene has sped off using his speed.)

"I'm running out of bullets fast," muttered Faith, as she was checking her inventory. "Damn it, looks like I may have to settle for my crossbow instead." She pocketed her guns in their holsters and revealed her dark crossbow from within her long duster coat. The village of Yakutsk was like a ghost town, something that she wasn't too surprised about. Everywhere she went was exactly like that. The only active place around here was in the tavern, as they called it in the olden days. It was frequently known more as a bar or pub. She put her dark crossbow away just in case someone would be in there. As soon as she entered, Faith growled. There were demons drinking here. The monsters overrun this village, she thought darkly.

Making sure that her scarf covered the bottom half of her face, she walked up to the bar and sat down. The bartender came over. "Что хотели бы Вы?" he asked. "Кока-кола и Водка, пожалуйста," she replied, looking blankly at the floor when she did so. "Ближайшее право, леди," said the bartender politely, as he went to make her drink. Faith cast her eyes on the demons that were speaking in English. I'm itching to slay them, she thought back in her own language. "Грязные существа должны умереть ..." But it was this point that she said it too loudly and they heard. "What did you say, girly?" growled one of them, rising to his feet and walked towards her. "Ненормальный," said Faith to his face, her eyes flickering on fire.

Leon Skylar

It has been a long time, Leon thought as he stepped out of the strange portal and nodded to the pathetic human stood before him. Leon passed the man, who collapsed at the amount of energy emitting from him, and continued onwards. He left the cave he had been in and covered his eyes at the bright light emitting from the sun. "I wonder how Ruckal is taking this light?" Leon asked himself, thinking of the demon. Leon sniffed the air and smelt the familiar smell of human blood, he also smelt something else and growled.

"Someone is spilling demon blood also..." Leon mumbled, he then felt it. Roughly a mile away from Leon's current position he felt a surge of energy so familiar. Leon immeditely sought out Ruckal energy and disappeared, moving at a frightening speed until he saw Ruckal. Before Ruckal could even speak Leon regained his composure and spoke quickly.

"He is here." Leon told him, speaking of Rene.

~~~~~
Rene Skylar
Rene knew that someone had gone to Hiryuu but Rene was long gone. He was jumping from building to building, sensing people fighting. Rene killed many of the demon infantry as he jumped until he came to a building that seemed to buzz with activity. He saw a young woman walk into the building and figured it was a pub. Rene couldn't see from this distance but he sensed something different about her. Rene also noticed that the pub was filled with demons.
"Tch, how far they have fallen. My old squad would never drink on the job." As he said this the woman entered the building. Rene jumped high into the air and landed merely meters from the doorway. He walked close to it and decided to stand against the wall outside the pub and wait for the woman to leave.
"Я не отвечаю Вам," growled Faith. She had enough extensive knowledge of Russian, so she was pretty much able to shield her true feelings from them, but it was only a matter of time before she started ranting and raving in English again. "Another demon, huh?" grunted the demon that hissed at her and glared coldly. "Нет, не демон! Zildaanian!" yelled Faith, punching him in the face and gave him a roundhouse kick. He went flying back, mainly due to the fact that she was combining her martial arts with her telekinesis. The other demons joined in, trying to get the freaky psychic girl. But she was far too quick for them, being able to dodge their every attack they sent at her. She laughed throughout her fights with the demons.
"Too! Easy!" shouted Faith with each punch she sent at another demon. The demons looked shocked that she could speak English. "What? Doesn't anyone from this time speak multiple languages anymore? I can speak a lot of languages, but gee ... you're the first demons to be shocked by that. Does anyone want a hug then?" One final demon rushed at her, sending an energy ball in the process. She flicked her fingers around and it deflected right back at the demon, causing it to burst into flames. Once the demon was gone, there was nothing left, but ash. Faith dug into her coat and took out her dark crossbow, slaying each and every last one demon that came at her. "Я приношу извинения за беспорядок," she said to the bartender and walked out.
