Capture Card FAQ

Q: Can I get an HD capture card for under $100?
A. Probably not, unless you get really lucky on Ebay.

Q: Can I get HD with a non-HD card?
A. No. You can only correct the colors and slightly sharpen the image, which doesn't do much. Still looks nicer, though.

Q. What is "manual" livestreaming?
A. You can technically livestream from any capture card that has a preview window on your computer. Just capture that window with your screen capture software, and you should be good.

Q. Is the Roxio Gamecap HD Pro priced at $100?
A. NO. The Roxio Standard and HD Pro are two ENTIRELY different things. The Standard CANNOT record in HD, but it is $100. The HD Pro costs $150.
