Thankfully for you, there is no rain to hamper your progress, but you're rather unnerved regardless. You don't let your guard down for a moment, but thankfully, encounter nothing on your way to the light source.

After less than half an hour, you come to a tiny village, full of small country houses. Little shops and gas stations make up the backbone of this little town. But now it is abandoned, without even a light breeze to give it a semblance of life.

You freeze as you see figures in the distance. That shambling gait, the slow movement, the foul stench. It's them. The creatures you faced back in the safehouse. They haven't seen you yet, but they're walking in your direction, and will see you if you don't move on fast.

Looking to the right, you see a police station, the mutilated symbol for the badge of a police officer telling you this much. You have no choice. The door is locked, but you force your way through after a few powerful shoulder rams. The heads of the zombies lift, and your heart jumps up to your mouth, but thankfully, they soon lower again. You slip through and close the door as quietly as you can.

It's dark inside, and the windows have been boarded up shoddily. Large gaps lie between thick planks of wood and sellotape, and shattered glass adorns the floor. Something ominous and rust coloured drips in front of you, but you aren't sure whether or not you want to look up to see what it is.

Moonlight pours in through the windows. Seems the clouds have cleared. An ominous white glow shows you a door, not quite open or shut. Echoes of an unidentifiable sound can be heard from through this door.

What will you do?

I say we make sure the room's secure first. Judging by our stats I'd say that role will fall to me and Ohri seeing as we can take a beating / dodge.

Right, so first things first, check the rooms secure? We should barricade the door.. although, if there's summat sinister in the other room, which I suspect there will be... we wont have an escape route, so lets just make sure the door is closed for now and keep a watch on it

We should see whats dripping too, i hope its just a dead body and not a ceiling zombie haha

Is there out we can investigate in here Diar? tables, cupboards etc?

Im wondering since there are a number of zombies outside, would it be wise if we secure the police station first (like Harly is mentioning) then barricade the windows better, rest etc, and get ourselves better prepared for when we leave the station.

Good point. If some mammoth zombie flies out we're pretty much fucked if we barracaded the door. :wacky:

That means the lock on the door is broken so we won't be able to lock it behind us. barracading it is the only option - even if it'll have to wait until we've made sure the building's secure...

Where is Galm1???

Ok so you wanna open the door first? :P

Wtf, lost my whole post :rage:

Anyway, we really ought to make sure the whole place is secure rather than just our one room, as we are fucked if there is a gaggle of zombies behind that door and we can't do a runner

Really should just do a quick sweep of this room, see if there is anything we can utilise. I'd imagine, being a police station, there's gunna be weaponry and ammo..... I imagine we have the receptiony area? Desk with keys.... that seems logical

Also, as for the other door, a quiet hello and a grenade through the gap, if we don't get a response, I cant imagine anything nice is waiting for us tbh

No grenade :mokken:
That will attract and alert every zombie nearby. we would be toast, the grenade you oughta preserve for a BOSS or something.

Since my evasion is superb I volunteer to open the door,

I will open it alone or with someone else.

Anyone agree >?

Ok so we're agreed on sweeping the room, checking for supplies and not barracading the door.

One question...

If we throw a grenade in it'll alert every zombie in the proximity. So I assume if we're doing that we're gonna barracade the doors, windows, etc before doing that?

If not... I guess we'll just have to keep the door open whilst we secure the building...

Ok, no grenade.. though, they might just think its a big bang :wacky:

SO, quick sweep, you 2 on either side of the door, Il stand further back armed with me shotgun, flanked by Kev? I should be nearer the exit actually, shoot from there, so if we need to scarper, I can be getting the door open and hoping to shit theres no zombies about to eat my face

Sounds like a plan to me :D

are we checking on what that drip is?

could post this in the game thread for now if agreed

We've agree'd on having a quick sweep of the room, and checking that lovely drip

Is there a desk we can rummage through?

Il be standing near the exit, pointing and aiming

Kelly has great accuracy , she is our ace. our back up.

Nah. This is only reception. Anything worth investigating will be mentioned in the description.

Right, ok, we're pretty much just hoping for the best with the door situ then

Il go post my part in it, wheres Kev :rage:

so what exactly are we gonna post in the thread? I want word for word people :rage:

also, yes diar its a reception but we're still gonna investigate :rage:

GROUP 2

Gets in position by the exit, ready to open and make a run for it, if needs be, aims shotgun toward the ajar door
