Poetry Regret

I believe that this is what you could call a short poem story, I wrote this some time back but feel free to comment on it or leave your thoughts ^-^
I wrote this for a contest a while back that revolved around the word bird.

 I stepped through the closing walls
 I grabbed all my courage so my path doesn't falls
  Why could I have been so blind
  Why was I so full of my own mind
   My moment has come to face sin
   My time has come to take all blame in

 This is my task to complete
 This is my challenge to compete
  I enter the hunting fields
  I face whatever weapon the enemy wields
   Every moment is returning
   Every pain is regaining

 Pain is the ruling card
 Pain is what I feel in every heart
  Today has the darkest skies
  Today is the day that I see the most cries
   Feelings of mine are being shattered
   Feelings so dark and gathered

 Tears run away from my presence
 Tears are my true evidence
  Lonelyness is what I am
  Lonelyness is what makes me wanna scram
   What happend to myself
   What is wrong with my inner shelf

 There you are dieing
 There you lay, making your beloved crieing
  You are eating every emotion
  You are making my heart fall for a complete devotion
   Tell me why I did this
   Tell me how I could be so selfish

 Never will I ever leave your side
 Never is the end of my guide
  Maybe you don't even want me here
  Maybe I only bring you fear
   Do you see me as a demon
   Do you really see me as a prison for freedom

 The sun is shining brightly in your room
 The moon is hiding for a certain doom
  To believe that you are now gone
  To act like I am alone
   No is the answer to my deed
   No is the word when you will be freed

 At last another caring being
 At the window is a new feeling
  Where was this caring when she was harmed
  Where was I in my thoughs when she was charmed
   Little bird outside the window
   Little do you know about this widow

 While you comfort her with your song
 While I will by then be gone by long
  Farewell my rainbow that made me shine
  Farewell little bird, make her feel fine
   With these last words I say I am dead
   With these feelings I'm just a threat

 My love, I have never wished to bring this upon you...
  I am a danger to you, I destroy you...
   I bid farewell now...
