Remake anyone?

I think it would be lovely for its 15th anniversary or something, y'no on the ps4. It would surely sell well and who in the world dosent want to revisit spira?

[CONTROVERSIAL]In my opinion this game is just deserving of a franchise as VII [/CONTROVERSIAL]
Like, i would love a CGI movie on event's after X-2. It worked brilliantly in advent children, i would love to another spira storyline! Sin can f*** off though, it would just be cheesey if he returned.

Maybe im just so in love with X that i cant bear to let it go...

FFX doesn't need a remake. PS2 games are perfectly accessible, and there is nothing wrong with the graphics in FFX.

They tried to make a franchise out of this game, it was called FFX-2, and it failed :gasp:

I don't think anything needs to be done to FFX. It's perfect as it is, we don't need any more spin-offs for FFX, it's brilliant as a stand-alone game >_>

lol, how spoiled are gamers in this day and age where FFX's graphics aren't good enough? xD

But yeah, as said, the graphics don't need to be reworked and there aren't really any loose ends or plot holes to be filled in a remake.

If a remake happens, it won't be for a long, long time; probably when there's a PS6 or something xD

FFX may have been an excellent Final Fantasy game, but I doubt they'd actually make a remake. They failed already with the sequel. I'm fine having FFX on the PS2. The graphics and gameplay were already gorgeous, so I don't think there's any need to make another one.

If they ever do decide to make a new however, Square Enix shouldn't try to change too much. Maybe a few enhancements here and there, but none too major.

Yeah I'm with the others on this one, this doesn't need a remake of any kind. There are a few FF games that would benefit from a proper remake more than this.

As much as I liked come aspects of the game even X-2 spoiled it for me, another sequel wouldn't be that much better.

Nah unnecessary i think. Its not like the game has bad graphics and i cant find anything about this game i would want to change so a remake in my oppinion is a complete waste of time on Squares behalf. They should just concentrate on new games and put remakes and spinoffs at the bottom of their to-do list.

Of course there's nothing wrong with the graphics! Or gameplay, or voice acting (minus tidus), or anything for that matter...

Okay maybe im just throwing random idea's out there because i miss the game so much (you can only replay it oh so many times).

But everyone thought of VII as perfect and not needing a remake a few year's after it came out, but thing's have changed. So hopefully in 10 year's or something...

No remake for FFX. It feels kinda too new for that. Maybe in 10 years or something. Then I could agree with ya, but now is too early for a remake.

Shush you. ;_;

Please god no. FFX's graphics are fine, better than the PS3 game Prince of Persia's. They wouldn't really be able to do much, anyway.

More merchandise might be a good idea, though.

Hey, new smilie :gonk:

Oh GOD NO! Let's not ruin a good game! I enjoyed FFX, but another remake would just kill me. The only thing I could see them doing at all and me buying is a game about Auron. Auron is love <3 Like one of Braska's days. But no remake! The graphics were fine already.

However, I would like to see the international version come to the US and Europe. If I'm not mistaken, it's Japan only, and only works on Japanese PS2s. Or even a port to the PSP. I want all FF for the PSP XD So I can play during study hall, of course!

So I really don't want a remake this soon. Ask me again in five years :D

Think your a little too ahead in the future. It's nice to dream ahead and everything.
But your a little early. But even in the future still wouldn't want a remake.
Because love the game just the way that it is and even it's faults make it more special.
Would prefer this game to age in the grace of time. With no silly upgrades, no movies, no spin-offs, and best of all. No Remakes. :)

The game has a nice storyline and wonderful likable characters and they will stay like that forever. Why change it ?

The European version has all the features of International, except the changed Crest/Sigil names (which is only a name change - and only the European English version doesn't have it, the other language versions do) and the dual language support.

Anyway, if there was a remake, I'd want to see some optional bosses that are actually challenging, a "hard mode", and a create-your-own-enemy feature.

Lol...since when do FF RPG's go by mode levels? Don't know how a create your own enemy feature would work, possibly be something similar to the Monster Arena?

But back onto the subject, no, don't remake unless the FF franchise is still popular in years to come.

FFX doesn't need a remake and in my opinion it isn't one of the better games in the series. Alot of the older games would be better to see with remade graphics and i dont know if i even want them to remake those games like VI.

They don't, but with the more strategic system, FFX has huge potential for one.

There's also a fan-made hard mode for FF7 (actually, a few, but one particularly good one), which is excellent.

If it was done correctly, I'd love one; otherwise, no.

I don't think I could stand this game being butchered, because imo it's almost perfect (minus a few little things), and I don't want that image marred by something which is shiny and 'perfect' on the outside, but just.. ruins a perfect game.

I don't think this game needs to be remade quite yet! It still looks stunning and had a fairly recent sequel. I prefer FFX FMV to FFXII's where they all look plastic! Maybe in 10/12 years. Of course if SE were offering better voice acting than the dreadful ones for Yuna and Tidus I wouldn't say no to it tomorrow! That's the only irritation I have when re-playing this, other than Yuna in general of course.

I don't think this game needs a remake, like, at all ever, it just doesnt NEED one, there's nothing majorly wrong with it at all, it'd ju st be a waste of money for all concerned

There's no way I'd buy it, how would i t be worth shelling out loads of money for a remake? It's fine as it is

Don't give it a remake, the game is complete with good graphics, solid gameplay and all loose ends in the storyline tied up. There wouldn't be much to be excited about.

i think it is good the way it is.the graphics are still okay to todays standards and remaking it would only be wasting SE time that should be going towards making new games
