In 2277, a young boy followed his father out of Vault 101. The boy went to the nearby town of Megaton and found out about the Brotherhood of Steel, holed up at Galaxy News Radio. He helped the GNR radio jockey, Three Dog, and learned where his father was. He went to Vault 137 and saved hes father, then traveled with him to Rivet City to restore Project Purity, the project his mother and father worked on before he was born. Before the project could be completed, the Enclave came and took over Project Purity, and killed his father. He went with the remaining personnel to The Citadel to seek shelter. He told the Elder what was needed for Project Purity to be restored and work, so he was sent to Vault 87 to retrieve this item. After retrieving the item, he was attacked and captured by the Enclave. He escaped the Enclave headquarters and returned to The Citadel, with the G.E.C.K., the item he was looking for. The BOS hatched out a plan revolving on Liberty Prime, a gigantic robot used for just about anything. He followed Prime and the Lyons Pride to Project Purity and retook the area, eliminating all Enclave forces in the way. With the input code from his father, he turned on the Purifier and restored the water throughout the Wasteland.

15 years later, the Enclave forces are back again, and are looking to destroy the Purifier. The BOS has halted invasions for months, led by Sentinel Sarah Lyons of the Lyons Pride. Now the Pride is forced to take action. As more Enclave attacks come and go, more BOS soldiers are killed or wounded, until only a handful remain. These handful must go to the Enclave hideout in Fort Constantine and eliminate the Enclave threat once and for all.
