I've decided to put all my RP characters into one thread, I think that Rene still needs the green light and my new one hasn't been made yet :P (Gonna do it in a minute :D)

First of all, here's Rene

Appearance:

Rene Skylar is a young tall man who has a lot on his conscious. His eyes are startling blue and his eyebrows are brown and slim. He has small ears and a small nose. He has regular sized mouth which is slightly pink. He has a medium sized frame and powerful but not at all overly sized muscles

Hair Colour: Light brown
Hair style: Medium length spiky
Eye colour: Startlingly blue
Height: 5 feet and 11 inches tall
Weight: 190 lbs
Complexion: Caucasian, but slightly darker because most of his work is outside under the sun.

Build: Rene is strong and his muscles are moderately defined. His parents died when he was a baby and he was taken to an orphanage in the country, because of this he learned to walk for a long time meaning he can journey for quite some time.

Attire: Rene usually wears his travelling clothes when he journeys and in battle, his clothes consists of:
A white vest worn underneath a red sleeveless jacket.
Baggy blue pants.
White trainers.

His formal clothing, which he wears at occasions that require him to look smart consists of:
A black tuxedo, nothing special, just your everyday black tuxedo.

Personality: Rene is an energetic young man who can be very naïve and reckless and more times than not he will run into battle without thinking about the consequences. He is a very proud man and will fight anyone so long as it is head on and a fair fight, he hates anyone who uses trickery to fight. He is also very good natured and can earn the trust of most people. Whenever there is a girl he likes he is often shy around them and easily distracted. Rene can easily be provoked when people push the right buttons and most of the time will retaliate with either brute force or a wicked tongue (though most of the time he will mess this up and end up making a fool of himself). In a battle when he knows he is outmatched he will often become extremely nervous with obvious signs such as scratching th back of his head, moaning about his life and how he gets into these situations or his voice will become shaky and he'll make crappy jokes that usually provoke the person/people attacking him anyway.

Weaponry: Guardian Blade - This is his primary weapon. He inherited this from his family. The blade itself is around 150 cm long and the hilt is around 20 cm long, the blade’s width is around 15cm thick. It is extremely sharp and he carries it on his back.
It’s main element is fire.

Hiruya - A gun. This is Rene’s long range and usually his back-up. He hates using it but he will if he has to. The gun is the same length as a sawn-off shotgun except it has a quicker reloading time and shoots faster and further. The handle is blood red with a lion design on it. He carries this on his right thigh in a holster.
It’s main element is thunder

Magic:

Rene prefers fire magic which is why most of his magic is fire based but he
also has a small selection of white magic.
Cure - Everyone knows what cure does :D But to make this clear all it does is heal things like small cuts and bruises - This only takes a little mana - This appears from Rene palm as a light green light, it hovers over the wound and glows green slightly before healing the wound
Cura - Same as above but can heal larger cuts and mend bones to a certain extent for example it wouldn't be able to mend a broken leg or arm but perhaps a few ribs. - This takes a moderate amount of Mana and tires Rene slightly - This appears from Rene palm and like cure it glows green but Cura glows a lot more brightly than Cure.
Fire - A basic ball of flame strikes the enemy - This takes very little Mana - This appears from Renes hand as a small ball of flame.
Fira - A stronger version of fire - This only takes a little more Mana than Fire and only makes Rene slightly tired - This, like Fire, appears from Renes hand as a ball of flame, it is also a lot larger and brighter than Fire
Firaga - The strongest version of fire. - This takes a lot of Mana and can make Rene quite tired - Firaga can be used in two ways, he can either shoot a massive ball of flame towards his enemy or cast a ring of fire around his enemy and constrict them, blocking there movement and burning them intensely.
Flame shots - This is basically either fire, fira or firaga casts mulitple times in rapid succession. - Depending on how many he creates this can take either a little bit of Mana or a lot and can tire him only slightly or majorly - This is usually used like shooting balls of flames from his palm, using both hands he will throw either Fire, Fira or Firaga flame balls at the enemy
Explosion - Causes an explosion next to the enemy and can cause massive damage - This takes a whole load of Mana and can tire him extremely a lot - This attack shoots two long lines of fire from his fists, he will then bring his hands together making the flames like whips, as soon as thedifferent flames connect they will cause a massive explosion

Skill and abilities:
Abilities – Most of Rene’s attacks are swordsmanship based and therefore are all just pure skill and don’t need energy or any other form of energy to use but the few that do require energy use Mana. His skills are as follows:

Jump Slash - This skill is similar to Cloud’s Braver but instead of jumping then slashing he will charge forward and jump and slash at the same time. Most of the time Rene uses this as a finisher against larger fiends - This is a swordsmanship skill and doesn't require any form of energy

Blade Storm - This attack is when Rene will charge at the enemy and slash the person several times in quick succession. He often uses this in a close, intense battle with an extremely good swordsman as it will usually wear them down quickly

Whirlwind Blade - This attack is used when he’s surrounded, in one quick slash he twirls his blade around his body slashing everyone around him. This also can appear as though a small whirlwind with metallic flashes is raging around him. - Depending on the way he uses it it can use no Mana or a lot

Gunman’s Blitz - Using his gun he will jump into the air and shoot as many times as possible at a single powerful monster or several people. When he concentrates hard he will shoot blue light instead of bullets and can cause explosions of light blinding and paralyzing any enemy who isn't hit by the actual beams. - Depending on how he uses it, the attck can take no Mana or a lot

Flame Shot - Using magic and his gun he will fire at the enemy with a bullet with fire magic casted on it. When he uses a lot of his Mana instead of just a small ball of fire a small comet will appear and decimate the enemy - This usually only takes a little Mana

Background:
When he was only a baby his parents were murdered by bandits, somehow Rene was saved and taken to an orphanage in Asei Village, as he grew up there he learnt the ways of the swordsman from a teacher called Anerro Lingham. When he was 15 Anerro was slain in battle when he enlisted to fight in the Seseu army against Albadran Empire. Ever since then he has journeyed, trying to find his own way in life.
Ambitions: Ever since he was young he has wanted to become the worlds greatest swordsman. It is also his dream to become a hero.

Fears: The only thing that scares Rene is the possibility of losing someone he is close to.

Likes: Rene loves to read books, he also likes forests and quiet, a side effect of living in the foresty terrain of Asei Village.

Dislikes; Scumbags and thieves, anyone who uses trickery to fight and backstabbers.

First impressions: When most people meet Rene for the first time they are usually put off by his brightness, he can often appear too naïve or self-confident for some people, but most of the time people like him because of his gentle nature and kind heartedness.<!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Job: Telepath and Mage

Appearance: Kara is a pretty and young girl. She isn't that small but isn't large. Her eyes are startlingly blue, like her brother's, and she has beautiful blonde hair. Her hair is usually worn down and she had small curly bangs. She has a slim mouth and a small nose. She has perfect teeth.
She is quite pale, often giving the impression to people that she is quite cold.

Hair Colour: Blonde
Hair Style: She wears her hair down with small curly bangs.
Eye Colour: Startingly blue
Height: 5 foot 1
Weight: 90lbs
Complexion: Pale caucasian

Build: As a growing teen, she is developing certain aspects of her body. She is quite lean and slightly toned but not to the extent of her brother, Rene.

Attire: She normally wears a white hooded jacket with red trims along with baggy white pants and trainers, though she has been known to wear a light blue jacket and jeans.

Her formal clothing consists of a light blue frilly one piece dress that comes down to her ankles.

Personality: Kara is usually very outgoing, she can usually tell when someone is good and when someone is evil. She is energetic and happy all the time but can become serious in an instant, a family trait. She makes friends with some of the most unlikeliest people in an instant because of her bright nature, She is very intelligent and always thinks before she acts. She will always stand up for people and will help anyone in danger.

Kara is not easily provoked unlike her brother, but if you push the right buttons, for instance threatening what little family she has left, she will go into berserk mode meaning whoever threatened them should run.

Weaponary:

Staff Of The Sky: Kara's staff is a long lost Skylar artifact. It was created by the most powerful sorcerer in the Skylar family line. Her deceased mother. Kara can use it to channel her magic and make it stronger but she can also use it in a melee battle should she need to.

Magic: Seeing as Kara is a mage she has a wide, wide range of magic to use. Despite this she has only managed to master one type of magic which is white. She has also some Fire, Lightning, and Ice magic. Over time she will learn more.

WHITE MAGIC

Cure - We all know what cure does, but just to verify: Kara uses cure to heal light wounds, for example, cuts and bruises. This spell appears from either Kara's palm or her staff as a light green mist. She can use it up close or send it flying into someone to heal them from afar. It takes up very little magic as Kara has used it a lot.

Cura - Kara uses cura to heal bigger wounds, for example large cuts, stabs wounds and bullet wounds. In no way can this spell fix internal injuries or mend broken bones. This spell appears in the exact same way as cure only a lot brighter and the mist is bigger. It only takes up a small amount of Kara's mana.

Curaga - One of Kara's most treasured spells. This spell has saved her from a lot. This spell can be used to heal very big wounds like internal injuries. It appears in the exact same way as Cura only brighter and bigger and takes up a large amount of mana.

Curaja - Exactly the same as curaga only this spell can heal an entire group. It appears as a pale green light over Kara's head and anyone within a 5 metre radius of Kara, be they friend or foe is healed for a large amount of health This spell can take a huge chunk out of Kara's energy.

Regen - To Kara this spell is very hard to use, mainly because it can sometimes be used wrong and constantly take a little bit of her magic every few minutes unless she breaks the connection. At first this appears like cure, it's a pale green mist but then it will enter whoever it was for's body and become invisible. It will constantly heal whoever it is in before it runs out of energy. Unless of course Kara does the spell wrong and it constantly drains her energy.

Life - A dangerous spell for Kara, Kara learnt it like all mages have to, but the effects of using can be dire. Using it drains almost all of Kara's energy until she can control it. It appears as a bright light from her hands and enters the dead person through his mouth, sort of like a breath of life. It can only be used within 10 minutes of the person dying or there will be no hope of bringing them back.

Protect - This is an ability that Kara can easily use. She summons a light blue shield around herself or whoever she uses it on. It can absorb most of the damage from a physical attack but not all. It only takes a moderate amount of her energy.

Barrier - This is an ability that Kara can easily use. She summons a light purple shield around herself or whoever she uses it on. It can absorb most of the damage from a magic attack but not all. It only takes a moderate amount of her energy.

Reflect - Kara has only just begun to be able to use this. She summons a white shield around herself or whoever she uses it on and can reflect most magic back at the spell caster. Of course it can only reflect weak to moderately strong spell. it takes up a moderate amount of Kara's energy.

Haste - Kara loves using this spell. With it she can make herself or whoever she uses it on extremely fast. It appears as a blue lightning bolt at first then hits whoever will be using it and makes them extremely fast. It takes up a moderate amount of Kara's energy.

Holy - Kara has only used it once, and it is the reason for her condition.(This will be told in her history) Kara has no idea how she managed to use it. When she used it she leviatated high into the air and large white angel wings appeared from her back. A brilliant white light appeared from within her and destroyed everything evil within the room she was in. She collapsed and almost died. It takes all of her energy and until she can control will make her unconcious and almost kill her.

BLACK MAGIC

Break out the witches noses and let's cackle. here's the black magic section.

At first Kara did not want to learn black magic, she found it vile and disgusting, but after time and a certain incident she figured that she had best learn some offensive spell to protect herself.

Fire - A basic ball of flame strikes the enemy - This takes very little Mana - This appears from Kara's hand or staff as a small ball of flame.

Fira - A stronger version of fire - This only takes a little more Mana than Fire but does not make Kara at all weakened - This, like Fire, appears from Kara's hand or staff as a ball of flame, it is also a lot larger and brighter than Fire

Blizzard - A basic shard of ice appears from Kara's hand or staff and strikes the enemy.. It takes very little mana to be able to do this.

Blizzaga - Over 10 ice shards appear from Kara's hand or staff and strikes the enemy intensely. This takes a bit more mana than Blizzard.

Thunder - A basic bolt of lightning is shot from Kara's palm or staff into the enemy. This only take a small amount of energy.

Thundara - A more advanced version of thunder, instead of just the one lightning bolt, multiple bolts of lightning are shot from Kara's palm or staff into the enemy. This spell only takes a bit more than thunder.

History: Kara is an orphan. Her mother died giving birth and she has no idea how her father was killed, though she suspects that Rene knows something about it. Kara only met her brother when she was 13 years old. They were both orphaned but Rene lived with his best friends, Faith Crest's, godmother instead of going to an orphanage like Kara. Kara also has a bigger sister call Lily but she died a while after they met Rene. She doesn't like to talk about it because she couldn't bring Lily back.

Kara learnt most of her white magic from one of Rene's best friend, a woman named Abigail Nilem. Kara first discovered her powers when she brought Rene back to life after he was killed in a large battle. After this Kara was instantly put into lessons with Abigail. A man called Kamui, one of Rene's teacher and a very powerful man, asked Kara if she would like to learn black magic. Kara instantly refused, she had experienced what black magic could do to you. After Lily was killed, Kara had decided, her passion for revenge and for the sake of wanting to protect what was left of her family, she studied from Kamui. Before she could finish her studies with both Abigail and Kamui, the final day came. A war was raging and Rene was in the middle of it. In order to help save everything she lived for. Kara went with Rene and his friends, which included Faith Crest (Rene's girlfriend) Filden Gurito (Rene's best friend and a good friend of Kara's) Abigail, Kamui and a woman named Dawn Turner. There were others but Kara never really knew them well.

There was a massive battle. Kara had to use holy in order to stop it all, but did not expect what happened. She was thrown unconcious, yet when she awoke she was in a completely different dimension. Using Holy had stripped from her the power to speak but somehow she could now speak telepathically. It was Kara's thesis that the only reason Kara could speak telepathically was beause Faith Crest was within the reach of Holy, luckily she was good and therefore unaffected by it, but she had somehow received part of her powers.

After almost 2 years of travel Kara finally made it back to her universe to find that so much had changed. This is where her story begins.

Fears: She is terrified that one days she won't be able to use her powers and won't be able to heal her loved ones if they ever got hurt.

Likes: Kind people, anyone that is evil she will immediately distrust but if she sees that there is evne a slimmer of hope that there is good in someone she will try to help them in there journey to the light.

Dislikes: Evil people... and spinach

First Impressions: When people first meet Kara they see her as a small child, but once they get to know her they realise that she is a kind, smart growing girl.

Esuna - Kara can use esuna to get rid of bad status effects like poison. She can use it up close or afar. It appears as a light blue mist that people can breath it to get rid of any poison in them. It takes very little enrgy to use.

I think it's safe to say that we should have some originality. While this is not an unapprovable aspect of your bio, it does say something about your creativity. It just looks better when you make up your own stuff (within reason, of course).

Now, for the actual magic.

Curaja needs an energy cost. We can't have you healing for loads with no loss now, can we?

Esuna is a pointless spell, to be honest. In RPs, there is no status conditions that can be legally afflicted.

And, as a final note, about how much are 'moderate' energy costs? 10%, 30%, 50%, etc.?

A moderate amount is aboot 25% of her mana and i'll go and put some originality into her spells now. A large amount is aboot 40% and a very large amount is around 60%

Hazema "Haze" Yuron

This bio is basically intended for ORPG/URPG and RPB.

Name: Hazema “Haze” Yuron.
How to pronounce name: Ha-Za-Ma “Haze” Yur-ron.
Title: Hopeful Deity.
Alignment: Confusedly Neutral (May change either way depending on the situation and his own point of view (Though his alignment change is usually for the good))
Date Of Birth: 25<SUP>th</SUP> Of March
Job: Unemployed but will take on small jobs.

Race: Human on his fathers side but his mother was of the elves, because of this his instincts and reflexes are sharper than most humans, the only two physical features he gained from his mothers side was his powerful but slim body and his speed.

Gender: Male
Age: 17

Appearance:

Haze is a tall, yet slim young man, because of his elfish ancestry he has quite a slim body but it is quite powerful. He is a very attractive young man but does not abuse that. He has a smooth slightly pale face and emerald green eyes. He has slim brown eyebrows and longish hair. His hair covers the top half of his ears and goes down to roughly the middle of his neck, it is layered slightly and looks a lot lighter than it really is.

His eyes are about 3 centimetres in width and around 2 centimetres in height. They are positioned about 3 centimetres away from each other. His nose is smallish and he has light red thin lips. His ears are slightly pointy, another trait from his mother. But are too small to be noticeable, unless of course he meets another person of elfish ancestry, if that happens they’re like a massive beacon.

Eye Colour: Emerald Green
Height: 5”12’

Complexion: Caucasian, he is also slightly pale

Attire: Haze is often seen walking around in regular blue baggy jeans and a blue unbuttoned shirt over a vest. However, on certain occasions he has been known to wear travelling clothes which consists of baggy blue pants, a black waistcoat over a long sleeved red shirt. Boots or trainers. No matter where he goes however he always wears two certain items which are very peculiar. A silver ring on his index finger and a silver locket around his neck which he never opens. He only shares what is inside with people he can trust wholly. He often holds it to his heart when he needs peace within himself.

Personality:

Often times, Haze is a very outgoing person. He will say whatever is on his mind and never holds back when he is in a argument with someone, something which has landed him in trouble many, many times. He can be very arrogant and cocky, because of this he will often take chances that risk not only his own life but oftentimes the people around him.

He never cares what people think about him, whenever someone is mean to him or hates him he will just take it in his stride and get over it, despite this, if he ever catches you being mean to his friends or out-right verbally abusing them he will step in and pretty much go ballistic at whoever it is.

Haze’s view on life is this: “What’s the point of livin’ if ya don’t do it on the edge?” because of this he often join competitions or events that are way out of his league in a bid to better himself for the future. Depending on the mood Haze is in he can either spend his money very carefully or not care at all and attempt to buy out the shop, because of this shopkeepers never know whether or not to take advantage of him.

Haze’s strongest weakness is the fact that he never seems to worry, because of this he will often put himself into dangerous situations without thinking of his own safety first. Of course he will know if something is extremely dangerous but despite this he will usually attempt to help out as much as he can.

First Impressions: Outgoing, but cocky. Oftentimes people have very different opinions about him, for example: A woman or child may like him because he is outgoing and funny whereas a man may distrust him because of his arrogance and cockiness. Despite this Haze will try his best to get people to like him the first time they meet. Unless of course he is meeting someone for the first time who is blatantly evil.

Strength: Due to his human strength and his elfish strength being combined Haze can be extremely strong. He can lift up to three times his own body weight (Around 390 lbs) and can deal quite some damage with his fist. For instance: If he punched someone with around 1000 health and minimal defence, he would most likely take off around 100 health.

Speed: Thanks to his elfish side, Haze can be extremely fast. He has been know to run at a top speed of 50 MPH but that is only when he is under duress and needs to be somewhere fast. Other than that his normal speed is roughly around 30-40 MPH. he can change direction quite quickly and very easily block slow attacks. His own attacks can be very quick depending on his energy.

Endurance: In a battle haze can withstand a large amount of damage before having to give up. He has plenty of muscle and can block most attacks, so long as they aren’t from a blade or bullet. Haze can outlast most fighters in a battle but if he overdoes himself he can quickly run out of energy. When running at his regular top speed of around 30 MPH he can last for about an hour, however when he runs at his duress speed of around 50 MPH he can only last for about 10-20 minutes before collapsing in exhaustion, also if he enters a battle immediately after running at that speed he will only last a short time before running out of energy.

Reflexes: Haze has the reflexes of his elfish ancestry, he is very fast and can dodge things like blade and arrows, despite his speed he cannot dodge things like bullets for they are too fast. He would only ever be able to dodge a bullet if he was fully elfish, which he is not.

Fighting Style: Haze prefers to fight up-close and personal, though he will fight from afar when need be. He will uses his slim long sword when he fights up close and will use his twin handguns when he fights from a far. Whenever he is outnumbered and outgunned he will often attempt to break up the groups and disobey the Queensbury rules, meaning he’ll stab someone in the back if need be. Though he believes this to be dishonourable, he will do anything to stay alive.

Weapons:

Blade Of The Hidden Sky (AKA: The Guardian Blade):

Description: The blade is very slim but quite long, it is made from a special alloy that is tough to break but very light. The blade itself is roughly around 150 centimetres long and the hilt is around 20 centimetres long. The blade width is around 15 centimetres, it is extremely sharp and Haze carries it on his back.

Abilities: The sword is said to be imbued with the strength of a most powerful warrior, giving the user more strength to wield the blade with.

History: This blade first entered Haze’s family line during a great war centuries ago. Now he is the only living member of his family he believes it is his job to keep the blade safe.

Ebony & Ivory

Description: These are non-identical twin handguns. Ebony is roughly 25 centimetres in length and is completely black, on it’s right side, scratched into it are the words Ebony & Ivory. Ivory’s barrel is made from regular uncoloured steel whereas it’s handle is black. It has the same length as Ebony and it also has Ebony & Ivory professionally into it‘s left side instead of the right.

Each handgun has a capacity of 20 bullets each and are both semi-automatic weapons, Haze has become very experienced with them both and can reload them both extremely quickly with the help of his own natural speed.

Abilities: None

History: It is rumoured that these handguns once belonged to a legendary Devil Hunter whose name has been lost to the history books. Haze has no idea how his family found them but however they did he is extremely grateful for it as they have saved him very many times.

Armour: Haze hates the constricting feel of armour and prefers the looseness of light clothing. In battle he will wear black jeans and a black buttoned up top under his loose dark blue waistcoat along with his black boots.

Abilities:

All of Haze’s abilities are all connected to either his swordsmanship or his gunmanship. He was restricted from learning any magic from his elfish side and could never be bothered learning any magic the human way.

Guardian Blade Abilities

Streak - Haze will dash forward and unleash a powerful horizontal slash with The Guardian Blade

Skyward Blow - Haze performs a powerful uppercut that can send light to medium weight enemies into the air, depending on what move Haze will use next he can either jump up with the enemy or stay on the ground and wait for him/her/it to fall back down.

Down Fall - This move is usually followed by Skyward Blow, Haze will jump upwards with the enemy and bring it straight back down with a downward slash of his blade.

Step Back - This move doesn’t do exactly as the name implies, yes Haze steps back, but that is mainly a ploy, almost instantaneously Haze will charge forwards with his blade and rush any enemies that are in his way.

Ebony & Ivory Abilities

Haze has no idea but somehow whenever he uses these guns he instantly has every ability that the previous user had.

Charge Shot - Haze’s hand begins to glow with otherworldly energy, charging the us, due to this the first shot after charging is extremely powerful.

Twosome Time - Haze keep his right hand shooting forward whilst his left expertly shoots anything around him.

Rainstorm - Haze will jump high into the air and spin whilst shooting both Ebony & Ivory

History:

It is said that most of Haze’s true power comes from his father, the human. Though his mother gave him the qualities that would ensure his survival for years to come, his natural instincts from his human ancestors have saved him many more times. It is said that Haze is the great-great-great grandson of a very powerful, intelligent and loving warrior. Though Haze often finds this quite funny there have been very many instances where he has begun to believe this.

For example, Haze was one day walking the ruins of an ancient, deserted, war torn city when he was attacked by bandits, though he easily defeated them, the area in which they fought had seemed so familiar, as if a past ancestry memory had awoken inside of him. He instantly knew the place was an orphanage but he had no idea how it was connected to him or his family.

His father died at the age of 56 in a small civil war that had erupted due to the price of domestic items, he was a commander of the army and died from a stray bullet to the neck. His mother’s age was unknown even to her lover, after Haze’s father’s death his mother fell into shadow and eventually died from sorrow, it was once told that she belonged to an ancient clan of elves but was casted out when she finally admitted her feelings for a mere human man.

Haze knows he has more relatives out there in the world but feels that they are too distant to be called family, because of this he considers himself an orphan now and travels the world in search of the truths he needs to discover about himself and his ancestry. He especially wants to find the clan of elves his mother was one of.

He now resides in the small town of Albraham in his family’s large house.

I really don't see much objectionable material in this bio, you've done a very good job. A liked the Devil May Cry references. ^^

The only adjustments that I would recommend, is the amount of bullets that the hand guns can hold, and the fully-automatic mode. 32 rounds is something that only really occurs in extended clips, and they aren't very practical. The highest capacity handgun holds 18. If you could, just lower the number down to 20 or so, and also remove the 'fully automatic' function of the hand guns. No opponent could believably dodge a string of bullets from a fully loaded, automatic weapon.

Just fix that and you'll be all set. =)
