I asume you mean xii. And if you want to play it again what's stopping you from doing so?
Unless theres another FF lying around you havent played yet I say go for it.
It depends on whether or not you achieved everything first time round. If you enjoyed the game enough, but didnt finish everything, then sure, go for another. Currently what Im doing myself.
I think that there is nothing wrong with starting the game again, however I would advise you to keep a backup of your old save in case you ever get bored half way through. I don't know why but it happens all the time to me.
Yea, replay it if you want. Why the hell not? If you've already done everything and love the game, then replay it. I now that I have all my characters fully leveled but I like the battle system so much that I've been tempted to replay it.
I'm sure that our opinions aren't so important to you.
If you want to play the game then just do it. I try to replay all FF games atleast once per year. Sometimes even twice. And if you get bored of replaying the games again, try a challenge (there are plenty of challenges @ www.gamefaqs.com).
Especially FFXII's class system challenge interests me. Feel free to try that one, if you are pro enough.
But of course make sure that you have completed all extra content instead of just "beating the game".
I would say start a new file and replay it, as you will understand the story much better. Have you beaten all the hunts (including Yiasmat) and is your whole party 99?
Once that is done, I would really suggest starting a new file. The bestiary would be all you have to complete and it's a pain in the ***!
I mean the story won't change at all, but if you want to just re-live it so to speak and refresh your memory and all, go for it. I myself would try to get 100% like bestiary, rare game, Level 99's and all before I went onto a second playthrough.
Otherwise, like previously mentioned, try to spice up your game style by adding a personal challenge to your game. Definitely try to catch things though that you may have missed on the first play-through when it comes to the plot.
In my personal opinion, a replay would be a great idea. It would give you a chance to try out different things on when playing the game. Also when you know what is coming, you are able to anticipate how you need to prepare and if you are really ready for what is about to happen. Maybe trying a different strategy at the beginning to see if things could have been easier for you or something. There are a lot of things to do when replaying a game so let your mind roam and go ahead and go for it!
I think that if you're going to replay the game, depending on how much of a guru of FF you are, you could try a totally different gameplay such as a Low Level game or a Perfect game. THey're a lot of fun
I've put in over 200 hours into the game. I can tell you right now that I wouldn't start the game over. There is just too much for me to take that amount of time again to play through because when i play through i go for 100%. They only way that i would consider starting the game over is if my game got deleted off my memory card and i let 2 months pass to finally work up the courage to time to play
