I didn't enjoy X the first few times around, but I've decided to go back and try it one more time since a lot of you folks seem to like it. So are there any tips that you could give me to make the game more fun? Or anything like that, you know. =]

Let's see ...

How about you do more battles than the last time? This way, you'll be able to level up the Sphere Grid more quickly.

Also play some blitzball matches if you ever get bored. That's what I did when I got bored, anyway.

what he said...also, try using your Aeons a lot, the thing i liked most is using Anima to completely DESTROY my opponents, makes it a lot more fun...
especially since Anima can do the most damage with her Overdrive(others are stuck at max damage cause they use only 1 attack, or less then Anima does with her Oblivion)

if you don't like using summons... well then i dunno, but i sure do like it

no grid sucks, with Yuna her healing spells are essential to the game, not improving them to the level 3(curaga, full-life etc) spells makes it ALMOST impossible and totally not fun to play

it's zhe big critz that make zhe fun, ya?

and Ultima, Flare and Holy are just too massive to not have

I say pay closer attention to the details of the story you may seem to overlook teh frist time through. Anytime a Fayth appears, listen carefully to what they say. When Lulu or Wakka, or Seymour discuss abotu Yunalesca in teh past or the ancient city wars 1000 years ago, try to fit the pieces together so it all makes sense.

Enjoy. :)

I found training a different team to be fun, and partially challenging. Though that's only because I stuck with the same few guys for a number of play-throughs.

Recently, I've taken to training everyone equally. It makes battles easier, should you need the accuracy of Wakka, the speed of Tidus, or the piercing effect with Kimahri or Auron. Although everyone should really have done that anyway, it's always a nice challenge to get everyone at the same high level during any time throughout the course of the game.

You could also try getting all the Overdrive types, such as Warrior, Tactician, Champion etc. Also challenging.

i would try to get everything possible in the game and just try to enjoy the storyline, i don't think i enjoyed it as much as i should have. i know i also missed a lot of things first couple times through too.

the main thing i would do though is to make sure you power up your characters as much as possible and early on. i tried the half ignore the sphere grid thing and lets say i made it nowhere fast. also, i would try to power up the aeons fast too and use them more often.

Actually a no sphere grid play through is quite fun
it requires you to get lots of supreme gems and dark matter

I started FFX over just a few days ago. I'm at the part right before you go to bevelle and I have to do that airship battle with that serpent thing. I can get through him fine but then I get 2 characters knocked out of battle by that kicking dude and then he kills the last one.

I'm mostly playing it to enjoy the storyline. Although, I hate the part when Tidus and Yuna kiss because that music is so bad.
