I've heard of one method where you master the Revive materia. Only there's a secret level that you can reach if you gain 800,000 AP. And the only way you can do that is by using Cloud's Buster Sword on enemies such as the Magic Pots in the Northern Cave. Has anyone ever gotten to that secret level and followed the steps necessary to resurrect Aerith?

That's unfortunately just a rumor. There is no way at all that you can ressurect Aerith. That's why they showed her still dead in the movie. The only way you can play with Aerith still alive and in your party is if you have a Gameshark for the PS 1. So sadly, the revive materia is just rumor and our beloved Cetra cannot be awoken.

Alas that is but yet another rumour :( Aeris may be dead but the rumours surrounding her certainly arn't going to go away anytime soon. If you search Aeris ressurection in google the amount of sites that get hit is amazing.

PC Version: by Trainers
PS Version: by Game Shark

There's a Rumor that there's a way to revive Aeris/th in the Japanese Version but it's a rumor so I don't know if it's true

I don't think she even will in the remake, Aeris. They already showed Aerith dead in the movie, so why on earth would it possible for her to be revived in the remake? It just won't happen *sighs*

Yeah, no revival for Aeris :( Though, if she could be revived, it'll completely change everything and I think it would make the story much less powerful.

I remember seeing an interview with one of the creators of FF7 and he said that any rumors that Aeris can be revived are just rumors and she cannot be revived.

Yeah, I heard this was a rumour. At first, I tried it out, but it didn't work even though there were screenshots of it working.

i don't beleive reviving a dead charecter would make a story any less powerful... ie ...if any one is lucky or hardcore enough to have played the game suikoden a charecter name Gremio dies...great death by the way, moved me a lot more than the death of Aeris...anyway he dies and only if you recruit all the 108 stars of destiny is he revived...and trust me when it happens its an overpowering moment

after researching there was a way in the Japanese Version:
there's a cave before u enter the forgotten Capital and that a way to revive aeris/th but it's seems they cancel the cave for some reasons

Aye - that was in the Beta version - if you have a cheat disk you can still go there but you cant do anything and if you try to leave the game will hang - also whats interesting is that Aeris theme is playing in the background of this place - and if you open up the menu the place is called "great cave"

ill post links to where i got this information later (after i find them again lol)

i can't believe i even read this thread.

*sigh*

the death of aerith was essential to the storyline. why would there be a way to bring her back?

it's impossible.
it's not gonna happen.
and it SHOULDN'T happen. aerith died. everybody get over it.

i think it would be great to find out how to revive her...
if anyone knows please post

I could honestly care less if she could be revived or not, she was my least favorite character :/ But yes, it is only a rumor.

i think ive been the only stupid person to try every shit i read in the net to revive aeris but failed jaja evrything is just rumors the only way to revive her is by using gameshark and you lose yuffie jaja tuff love

The only REAL way to revive Aerith is if you hack into the game and go to the Debug Menu, then have Aerith reaccesible in your party. Side from that she is not in the storyline after her gruesome yet, fun for Sephy death..

So its only possible to bring Aerith back if you A: hack into the debug menu or B: use a Gameshark to add her back to your party
