The seventh generation console era is the era of the revival of video game franchises from long ago. Back in 2004, Ninja Gaiden got a comeback sequel on the Xbox, and that installment later got remade for a seventh-generation console. Golden Axe is also getting a comeback sequel, called "Golden Axe: Beast Rider", in development for PS3 and 360. Pit's appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl may lead Kid Icarus to getting a comeback sequel. A comeback sequel to Bionic Commando is in development for PS3 and 360. I wish Square Enix would revive Final Fantasy's two older siblings, which are Highway Star (aka Rad Racer) and Tobidase Daisakusen (aka WorldRunner), and have them developed by Square Enix Production Team 7, each having a comeback sequel on PS3 (Rad Racer 3 and Tobidase Daisakusen III) and the existing installments remade for PSP.

Whats the question then??

Yeah Im aware of the re-release of Golden Axe, my boyfriend is beoynd excited about it.

I'm not fussed either way about any of them. As long as they are good. Woohoo for us I guess

What I'd really like to see revived is the Carmageddon franchise. There was nothing like going ape in the zoo with that big truck in Carmageddon 2. As far as I recall it has been nearly 10 years since the last game, and something that fun definitely deserves another installment.

Well personally I think-woah wait, they're making a new bionic commando?? I'm not sure if that's awesome or silly.

I'd love it if they made a remake of the first 2 FF games, but with today's 3D detailed graphics. Man, that would be AWESOME! :P
