Okay so I finally jumped back on the forums after forgetting I ever trolled them in the first place. :D

Getting to my point; I want to know about rumours you have heard and if they have been confirmed - by you or evidence of someone else, etc.
I've seen some pretty funny ones myself - one being Aeris and the whole resurrection thing. I did see a pretty convincing website with screenshots of her resurrection. You know; photos of her in places that we only visit after she dies.
But yeahh, still haven't been convinced on that one.

Soo yeahh, just wondering. I've completed the game a million and one times and I'm looking for extra content to venture into. :D :D
 
...Right and who are you? And if you were banned for trolling the forums why are you here?
 
Ummm I never said I was banned. I just stopped playing the game and haven't come on here for a while. Maybe trolling is a bad use of a word - lurking is a better example.

Trolling and lurking are two different things. We permanently ban trolls. Trolls are members who come onto the forums and cause trouble, flame people, insult people, etc...You said you trolled here and I was like o_O If you haven't that's great. If you have another account on here though you really should be using that one instead of creating a new one because having duplicate accounts is against site rules. If you lurked here without creating an account, then my apologies.

I think it IS possible to keep Aeris as a playable character even after she dies, but only by using a gameshark (though, I don't know if people still use that nowadays)

But without that and just the original game itself, no. It's definitely not true. She can't be resurrected.

And I've heard if cloud reaches lv 99 theres a small chance that his hair will turn black -__-
And another one is if all your characters (including Yuffie and Vincent) are lv 99, cloud confronts sephiroth and aeris doesn't die

Both I think are lies
 
Yeahh I heard about the one if Cloud is 99 before the whole Aeris thing then he'll jump in and fight him. Also, if you're really mean to Tifa, then she'll push Aeris aside and die instead haha.
And I also heard that level 99 one. Same with Red XIII / Nanaki - his tail catches fire. But I have never actually reached level 99. And I don't know anyone who has. >.<
 
Heard a rumor that if Cloud collects 99 tissues and then heads back to Aeriths house and into the spare bedroom. Cloud will spend the night crying and using up the tissues...

He will wish Aerith to return, so he heads into Nanaki's grandfather laboratory a summon a golden flying chocobo and it will take Cloud into Outer space..

Think it's been confirmed to be false, no surprise ? :P

I had Nanaki on Level 99 and his tail did not catch fire.

I heard that if you visit Aerith' church on CD3 where you see her ghost or memory or whatever it is that is planting flowers with the kids, and you run to her and reach her before she disappears, you can somehow get her back.
Tried it a hundred times, there is NO WAY you can get to her in time.

I head something about if you keep his buster sword equipped through the whole game, get 99 tissues, and do something else, then you have to go through this whole series of crap to get her back. There were screenshots too. So I was like OMG!
But I dunno. It was a little weird but it seemed plausible. Was never bothered to try it though. :P
 
The Nanaki tail on fire thing... His tail is supposed to already be on fire throughout the whole game. It just might not look like it because of the graphics. Part of the design of the character, and his race, is that his tail is on fire at the tip.


As for Aerith revival theories... There has been one (also bogus) involving Mr. Fish, that strange fish that appears in the Forgotten Capital. Some people claimed once that Mr. Fish was Aerith's spirit and in doing certain things then Mr. Fish would once again become Aerith and stop blocking the path or something.

It's just someone messing about and making things up though. None of them are real. Aerith can only be brought back with gameshark or game hacks or mods (if it is the PC version), and not by any true means in the game.

You could count the glitch that shows Aerith in the church after her death as a ghost if you want, but it doesn't mean she is going to be revived. All those theories and rumours are false.
 
Yeahh. I've seen her in the church. I think it's supposed to remind you of her. Plus the kids that talk about her haha.

This is probably the funniest thing that I've seen in a long time. Nothing to do with Aeris, but something about a rumour with dating Zack. Haha.

Generally, every online rumour about some obviously farfetched function that some niave gamer would eventually believe is pretty much what common sense would realize; dead-end. Gathering information on the subject at hand is rather important.
