Howdy, I've recently had the urge to create my own songs for games. My friends game to be specific. He's creating an RPG game with a few of our other friends, and, although I haven't told him yet, I am interested in creating some of the music for it. I've done some research on some form of creating S/NES music, and as far as I could find, all I came up with was a VERY confusing program that was extremely difficult to figure out.
I'd imagine that hobbies like this aren't uncommon, so I'm a little shocked that I couldn't find anything. Would anyone be able to direct to a program that allows creation of music that one would find in a SNES or NES game?
For further explaination of what I'm looking for, if anyone has gone to www.vgmusic.com, what programs do the people there use to make the remixes?
