i am new here and the sticky says to search for the topic to see if it has been answered previosuly. but how do i do that? somebody probrably asked this but sorry, i don't know how to search for it

One option is to use the Ctrl + F function and search for keywords regarding the search, but the thread just means to look at previously created threads and see if someone has asked the same question

At the top of the screen it gives yopu options such as:
Click on the search one to type in words to locate a certian keyowrd that would show you to a thread that is similar to the topic you type in.

When in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout.
Also, try looking at the first page of the board you want to post in. If the thread isn't on it, it probably has not been posted yet.
