I made a few attempts at some signature and avatar sets. I know they're pretty similiar but I was too lazy to change the border. Please comment and suggest what I could improve on.

If anyone got any favorite brushes they'd like to recommend, please do. I suck at choosing them.
 
there all nice sets..
1st one - i dont like it to much.. not to say its bad.. its just something i cant put my finger on...
2nd one - i ont see a need for change i really like it
3rd one - i like this one to but you should colour it up a bit... the black and white make it to ...boring i guess

You're doing great so far. Lovely effects and nice use of colors. Loving your borders too. My only recommendation is to somehow bring out more of the picture (focal point). Also, try to experiment with blending layers as you can come up with some cool-looking designs and colors. Your best one is definitely the Spiderman one, so keep it up! =]
 
The first one's stock seems slightly to left sided, the second one I can't seem to see anything that needs changing so I'd say it's pretty good and as for the spiderman one i'd recommend you add a bit of colour as a black and white version seems rather boring.
 
I'm beginning to like the sig of it but the avatars right arm looks rather strange lol
 
Oh wow, the edited version really looks clean and definitely more improved. Text placement is also quite interesting. Splendid job!
 
Thanks alot for the comments. I'm hoping to be able to upload some more sets later tonight if all goes well. But please, do recommend some brushes, I'm kupo for nice brushes. :gasp:
 
your work is better than anything i could do. but i like it, it has a personalized style to it. (and you really like that border don't you lol)
 
The edited version of Spiderman is the best, but the tag in your siggy area got to be the best, did you make it?
and Yoko's one is just pale :/

Removed the old one because it was crappy as heck. This one is a "little" hentai-ish. Please note, this was made upon a request from another forum and I removed the name for "safety" reasons. The border is kinda meh, but I really suck at them. And if this offends anyone I'll remove if requested.

Here's yet another set. Sadly the quality on some of the images were really awful so it the signature at least might look a little awkward. I didn't include any border this time since I suck at them so bad it'd just ruin than favor.

Your work is tbh great, Thanks for the ones you made me aswell :p -has finally changed them- I love them :D Love to see more of your work in the future.

Here's yet another set based on the ship Ragnarok from FF8. Somehow I really like how it turned out.
 
Yup, another set attempt. I'm gonna continue with them until someone comments and suggests something or until avatar & signature sets starts falling out of my skull. Enjoy, this time Shadow the Hedgehog themed.

I quite like that border for the Ragnarok one. Pretty cool. The sig itself is pretty decent, but I think adding a different color for the BG might look a bit better in order to have more depth.

As for Shadow, I like the smoky brush effect there. Really gives off that "impact" from the character. The text is alright - nothing too fancy but hey, sometimes simple is better, eh?

Good job though. I hope to see more from you. ^^
