That's right, after a pretty crazy year or so, Britney Spears is back, with her new song Womanizer. It's her first #1 on Billboard hot 100 since ...Baby one more time, and it looks like she's back to her best. But, do you think she'll last? Will we be bombarded by Queen Britney again? Or will she snap and screw everything up again?

And, incase you haven't seen it, here's the video for Womanizer, it certainly looks nicer than Gimme More, which looked like a cheap porn flick -

Lol I think Britney has had her time. She'll have some loyal fans that still follow her but for the most part, I just can't see her rising to the top again.

Especially with all of Disney's child stars that they keep creating.

I'm no longer a fan of Britney and, to be honest, I wish she'd stop trying to break back on to the music scene. She had her time and now it has passed, just like every other craze in the world. I do, however, respect her determination - she's endured torture to the point of having "LEAVE BRITNEY ALOOOOOOOOOOONE" videos being the biggest discussion on television, some nights, and yet she's still trying.

Hats off but ... if Britney's playing, then it's radio off. :wacky:
 
What's up with her voice? I don't really like it. >.> The video isn't all that great either. I do respect her decision to make it somewhat on top again and the determination that comes along with it. But I really doubt she'll have a grand journey there. Best of luck to her anyway.
 
i really hate the song...
it just repeats itself and its stupid really. i will never look at this as a "come back".
she just cant grow up and take responsibly. she has kids now. if i were her child...i would see her as a slut lol. she just acts like a porn star and she is too stuck up. i have no respect for her.

In fairness, though, you could say the same about Madonna or Kylie and I'd bet a pound to the penny that the majority of music fans wouldn't relate Britney to either of the above.

I'm very glad that she has stood up for herself and moved on. Britney is a real Pop Princess. After all that she's been through. She lost her husband, her children, her hair, her fans, her killer figure but she still goes on.
I hope that people still continue to like her. Britney has gone throgh a lot.

I can't believe that some of your are unhappy that she's back! Singing and being loved by people is certainly better than being poor, hated and crazy.
I feel happy for her success though.
 
Glad shes come through all the crap shes had over the last year. But yeah the video Im not crazy for. its trampish and its like shes going back to her Toxic video days.
 
I really like Britney and I'm glad she's making a comeback. Yes she's made some mistakes in her life, but the girl really is talented and she's trying to be a better person and move on with her career.

As for the video, I happen to like it. It's certainly a lot better than her Break the Ice and Piece of Me vids. I hope that it continues to do well and that Britney achieves success again because she really does deserve it.
 
I've never been a big Britney fan.. I just don't like her voice. She had some okay hits but, meh. Not my thing.

I think it's really great that she's managed to get over all of the drama and continue to make songs though, it's clearly something that she loves doing. And even if we don't like her or her music, how many of us would be able to do that?
 
She's way out of her prime and she's let herself go. No chance she's staying back for long if she even does 'break back out' again.

I really wish she'd stop trying to make music.
Her music is terrible, it's bland, boring and consists of some moron making a sound with a synthesizer and her strangling a cat over the top of that. Whilst resilience may be a quality to admire, in this case it clearly isn't. She can't do anything else but a kind of slutty pop a la Pussy Cat Dolls. She should have quit when she was no longer popular not kept going.
 
While I admire the fact that she is crawling her way back from the dumps, I must say that this song is fukkin terrible.

I mean the whole repetition of the word womanizer reminds me of a song some drunk person would make up on the spot:

"Womanizer
woma-woma-nizer
you're a womanizer"

The lyrics in this song could have been made by anyone with absolutely no song writing experience.
 
Since Womanizer the only other songs I've heard really hit the radios is Circus and 3.

I really like Britney. I wish she could bring out more hits. >.<

Funny how I stumble across this when I'm listening to Womanizer. xD

I've been a Britney fan ever since she put on that school uniform over ten years ago. I've really gotten into her newest single, 3, lately. The lyrics are strange, but there's something so damn addictive about it.
