The Bermuda Triangle. Also known as the Devil's Triangle, it is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and surface vessels have allegedly disappeared in an enigmatic fashion. No one has ever uncovered the mysteries surrounding its unparalleled power.

Until now.

A group of high school teenagers thought going for a scuba diving trip could either be the best time of their lives, or perhaps boring with their overly strict teacher. But what happens when their boat collides with the infamous Bermuda Triangle? Will they survive to tell the tale? Will they perish? Or will they return entirely different?

Whatever happens, it's clear that no one will be the same anymore ...

Personality
Having always thought of herself as different from girls of her age, Sarah has usually kept quiet most of the time. She only opens herself up to the likes of Henry and Stevie, proving she does not trust a lot of people due to her closed upbringing. She shows disdain towards her heritage, often sad and furious from the lack of attention she receives from her parents. Because of them, Sarah can have periods of self-loathing and will do anything that will make them appreciate her more.

She does not like to trust a lot of people because of the lack of friends she has had in her life. Dark thoughts tend to plague her mind and put her off from socialising with others. Surprisingly enough, Sarah is a gifted liar. She has become better at this the older she has become. Sarah has confessed to Henry that she feels emotionally stronger with him in her life.

Sarah does have a violent streak that she struggles to control, most likely a result of the lack of love and attention from her parents. This was first shown when she assaulted a bully when her temper was pushed to the limit. Despite this, Sarah is the typical strong silent type. She is intellectually gifted and has received top grades for classes. She is also good at giving advice, given her agony aunt slot in the school paper.

Her actions are rarely selfish and she truly wants to be a better person than she currently is, but feels unable to, with the assumption she is a rich girl. Prior to prejudice received from others, Sarah can be shown to be kind and compassionate, especially towards Henry and Stevie.

Power(s)
Super Strength: In accordance with her greatest desire, Sarah possesses unparalleled strength after the Bermuda Triangle incident. She can lift up to around 100 tons in weight. However, she must maintain some control over this ability since she could easily break someone's bones with a mere handshake.

Appearance
Sarah is 5'10" in height and has a tall, striking physique. She is tall and statuesque, with an elegant figure similar to a model's. She has long, blonde, wavy hair that drops below her shoulders, and piercing light blue eyes.

Whilst in school, she is seen in her uniform of a white shirt, black skirt, black tie and black shoes. However, her attire on the outside reflects upon her family's wealth. The fact that she is seen as an outcast encourages Sarah to show it off through whatever she wears. But when she does not want to be recognised, she chooses to wear informal clothes such as a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers to blend in with the crowd.

Although Sarah thinks that she is a complete outcast, she is unaware of the attention she receives from boys in school. She thinks this is part of the occasional teasing she gets, ever since she broke up with Jared.

Bio
Even from birth, Sarah had it all: money, power, wealth and protection. The daughter of a pair of prestigious and high-profile lawyers, she lived a comfortable childhood in sunny California. But she lacked the love of her parents, whom she rarely saw. Instead, her affections were returned by the family butler Henry Lowell, who became a father figure. Although Henry was always there for her, Sarah craved for her parents' attention. She did everything to get their attention, which included cheerleading and theatre amongst them. However, this never came to amount to anything and she hid her depression.

Everything changed when she attended Graymore Valley High School, a private school for the intellectually and athletically gifted. It was here that Sarah began to make friends and finally blend in. By the time she was 15, she had her first boyfriend named Jared. Doing everything from making her feel special as the only girl in the world, he fulfilled Sarah's every undisclosed desire. But this story did not have a particular happy ending in sight, especially since Sarah soon discovered he was having an affair with head cheerleader Brittany. She staged a breakup with him in front of everyone and has refused to take him back ever since.

Things took a turn for the worse when the older kids started to push her around and mocked her parents. Without Jared, Sarah was essentially powerless. She refused to give into his pleas to get back with him and suffered the bullying in silence. Sarah fought against her uncontrollable temper and succeeded, resorting to ignoring them, knowing that they would leave her alone if they did not receive a reaction. This did not stop, unfortunately, and the bullying became worse. After assaulting one of the bullies in question, Sarah was seen as an outcast and no one would dare to talk to her. This did not bother her whatsoever and she preferred being left alone to the bullying.

This did not last forever. Soon after the bullying incident, she was approached by Stevie Vickers, who ran the school paper, and offered her to become an anonymous agony aunt. Sarah soon accepted and quickly befriended Stevie. It gave her some source of comfort and she soon enjoyed helping others by advising them what to do with their problems, whilst remaining a complete mystery.

By the time Sarah was settled into her junior year, she was delivered a devastating blow: her family had been threatened by Randall Crolf, a well-known convict that had tortured his victims with a chainsaw. Although her parents were insistent that they entered the Witness Protection Scheme, Sarah stood against them for the first time and screamed that she was taking control of her life. Leaving them stunned, Sarah left for school for a scuba diving trip with many others. She doesn't realise it, but she is about to get the strength she has always craved ...

Asuka is very quiet and shy around new people, especially since she has sheltered life, thanks to her parents, she hasn't had a lot of interaction with other people. Once she has gelled with someone she is a lot more easy going, it just takes time.

Ability:
Hydrokinesis: The Bermuda Triangle incident has granted Asuka with the abilty to manipulate and create water.


Appearance:
Asuka is of average build and 5'2" tall, she weighs 7.7stone (108lbs) with long straight black hair and green eyes. Asuka either wears a white top with a heart locket, brown mini skirt and black ankle boots, a traditional pink and white kimono or the school uniform during classes.

Background:
Asuka lived a sheltered life growing up in Yokohama until she left the city when she was 15, her parents were very protective of her and didn't let her leave the city. They protested against her decision to leave at the age of 15, saying "If you walk out that door, don't even think of coming back!" but Asuka didn't let that stop her. She packed her bags in the 15 minutes her parents, or rather her father, gave her and left the city. Her passion for her education and knowledge of other cultures was too great she just had to get some first hand experience. She left Japan and has moved about from school to school, living on her own she has yet to find the right school for her, or even the right country.

Asuka has travelled across Asia and Europe for the past 12 months, and 6 months before her 17th Birthday she settled down in California and enrolled at the Graymore Valley High School. The day of her 17th Birthday approaches, and on that day the school is having a Scuba Diving trip. Asuka is highly looking forward to this. What she doesn't realise is how much her life will change as a result....

Name: Vitali Kolodka

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Personality: Mostly Vitali is the ordinary student; he studies hard, gets good grades and is popular enough to get by.

He is easy going and relaxed with a devil may care attitude to the world. He always seems at ease and will get along with most groups of people though much of the time he sits passively in the background as a spectator of others. He is a good listener, a flirt, a smooth tongued charmer and will often hide his negative emotions with convincing laughter and jokes.

Vitali is a smoker and retains his heavy Slavic accent though his English is commendable.

Power(s): Electrokinesis – The incident has left Vitali with the power to manipulate electricity and electric impulse. However, the Russian cannot create his own source of power and must resort to manipulating whatever energy sources are available. To combat this he always carries a tazer.

Appearance: Vitali stands at roughly 6'2” and is of slim build. (His mother complains he never eats enough) He is pale but that doesn't detract from an overall handsome appearance. His eyes are soft and such a deep brown they appear to be black, his semi scruffy black hair falls roughly to his shoulders and frames his face for a cheeky rebellious look, his left eyebrow piercing adds to this. In school he is wears his uniform, but outside of school he is often spotted wearing black skinny fit jeans, t-shirts and suit jackets as well as his ever trusty (if slightly battered) black and white Converse.

Bio: The Kolodka family moved from Russia during the Winter of Vitali's 15th Birthday.

Vitali's father had been a politician in Russia, fighting against corruption in the current political cabinet of the Russian Federation. His father was a brave man, devoted to his beliefs in a fair and democratic society for the people of the Motherland. However his opinions and his determinations lead to his unfortunate demise. Assassinated during a conference between the American Presidency and the Russian Federation, he left behind a few parting words for his family and a swarm of enraged protesters and sympathisers alike.

The family quickly had to leave the country due to growing unrest and were granted asylum in the United States where they have lived ever since. It has taken some time for Vitali and his mother to fully settle in to their new home and the first few years have been hard.

Lost without his father, Vitali sunk in to depression for roughly 6 months before finally trying to move on with the “normal” life as his father had hoped for him. Enrolling at Graymore Valley High School, Vitali has taken on the face of the average student and tries to hide the tragedy and political ties to his past.

Age:18
Gender: Male
Personality: Stephen is the sterio typical jock, excels in all sports, and has average grades, a kind person Stephen tends to help those younger than him, and for this people look up to him. Stephen is responsible and Trusted by many.

Power(s): Pyrokinesis: Stephen can manipulate, generate or control fire, weather it is starting the fire, or extinguishing it.

Appearance: Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, Stephen weights approximately 245 pounds, and has an athletically muscular build. he tends to wear Dark grey or black Jeans, normally of some designer, and either a white or black Sleeveless T-shirt that tightly hugs his body. His hair is short and light brown, his eyes are blue. he wears custom designed Nike dunk Basketball shoes that he designed himself online and purchased, they are predominantly black with only the laces, the soul, lining and inside and also the laces in Red.

Stephen has a tribal tattoo on his left shoulder, and chest area, it is coloured entirely black (even though the image isn't the coloured version, i haven't had mine coloured in yet) and aslo a cross with Tribal wings tattoo on the center of his back, that sits just between his shoulder blades.

Bio: Born into a fairly wealthy family, Stephen lived an easy life in England, growing up was easy with money, and he never had to worry about his life only caring for football and other sports, working out in the gym was one of his favourite hobbies, Stephen's father was a businessman, Stephen never really cared for what his father did, and his mother was a tattoo artist, Stephen's first tattoo was on his 16th birthday, his mother did it for him making her sons tribal back piece something to remember her by, when he turned 17 he learned to drive and passed his test, with ease, his father bought him a car and paid for everything. it was around this time that his mother began work on his shoulder tattoo, finishing it near his 18th Birthday.

Once Stephen turned 18, he earned a scholarship to university and this trip to Bermuda with school is Stephen's final blow out of sorts before his life becomes about keeping his grades up and keeping fit in the hope that he will be scouted by the Soccer team LA Galaxy.

Despite being in the sunny land of California, Fletcher is very gloomy. An introverted individual, he usually keeps to himself and rarely talks. A pacifist, and very passive, he tends to avoid conflict at all, even when people try and mess with him. When he feels uncomfortable, he tends to try and exit the situation as soon as possible. With the flight or fight response, he tends to favor flight always.




Power(s):
Force Field Generation – A mental ability that is derived from his greater academic prowess over physical prowess, and his desire to defend himself, Fletcher is able to generate solid masses of energy from an unknown source. They can only be formed from his hands, and they usually take circular forms. However, with concentration, he can mold them to certain structures (for example, a doorway to prevent entry, etc). With practice, he is also able to mold them around his fists or feet to create powerful unhanded combat capabilities (considering their power is based off of his mental capabilities, rather than physical).



Appearance:
Fletcher is about 5’7’’, and has a very slender build – almost a swimmer’s. His demeanor, however, makes him seem even smaller; being lurched over all the time, or drawn in, will do that to a person. He has medium-length naturally messy jet black hair, and hazel eyes.
Since he does go to a private high school, he is usually seen (by anyone who cares enough to notice him) in his uniform: a white shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a black tie. During the winter months, his uniform is also joined by a black blazer.

Although no one has really seen him outside of school (no one that is joining him on the trip, anyway), he does have casual clothing. That usually consists of items such as sweater-vests, button up short-sleeved flannel (of various colors) shirts, form fitting jeans, and basic one color tennis shoes. He also likes to wear band t-shirts, and has numerous (as he is an indie kid) and jackets. He comes from the lower end of the middle class, and thus doesn’t have as many options for outfits as other kids.
On the other hand, he doesn’t really care: since he really isn’t trying to impress anyone, he doesn’t really “try” to dress well.




Bio:
Fletcher comes from the lower end of the middle class spectrum. Living with just his mother, Doris McGlenn, (his father left the family almost immediately after he was born), Fletcher has always lived on a “paycheck to paycheck income”. Although rent is cheap for his family (which is rare, even though it is a run-down apartment complex, since it is in California), the McGlenn’s always stick with what is needed, and very rarely go for what they want.

Like the mini-games where you try to find the shape or stone that doesn’t belong, Fletcher has always been the “odd man out”. His interests never really correlated with the rest of his classmates, and he never really followed the trends. He was the kid who preferred sitting at home on weekends playing video games or listening to music than hanging out with people. That trend stuck, eventually, as he entered his teen years since he never really had any friends.

He is also the target for a plethora of bully attempts. Seen as an easy target, a kid who is down trodden and can’t defend himself, he has had to suffer bullying from an early age, starting in 7th grade. When he entered high school, however, it got even worse. Almost constantly, every popular niche you could think of would harass him. His grades started to drop, he locked himself in his room almost every night, and became extremely depressed. His mother feared the worst, and, a week into his Junior year, pulled him out of Summer Creek High School. Believing that he would fare better in a private school, she applied him to Graymore Valley High School. After acing almost all of the exams that they threw at him, he began his journey at Graymore.

Although his grades improved and he seemed to be doing well, all was still not peachy. Even though it was a private school, he was still faced with bullying – which seemed to become even more relentless. He was picked on for being quiet. He was picked on for the bands he liked. He was picked on for his outside of school clothing. He was picked on for his personal interests. He still was not able to make friends because he lacked the social skills needed to function with others. He hardly talked, hardly answered questions. He just did the work, and was done with it. He ran from any hint of danger, and decided not to bother with extracurricular. He lacked the confidence for them, anyway.

His home situation also did not help matters. Having to take a second job as well as some odd jobs to keep the family moving and pay for Fletcher’s schooling, his mom had become stressed. She was hardly home anymore, leaving notes for Fletcher about what he needs to do around the house, and what he could eat that night. Even when she was home she was hardly in the mood for talking, often taking out her stresses on Fletcher. Alone at school and alone at home.

Although it was a stretch for him, he decided to participate in the scuba diving trip with one of his teachers and some classmates. He needed to just get away from everything for a while. Get away from school, and from his home. Approaching the teacher chaperoning, he practically begged to go, and went through a whole slew of reasons as to why, and how he couldn’t afford it. He was then informed that a donation had been made to sponsor a student that wanted to go, yet couldn’t. And with that, he was on his way to the Bermuda Triangle.

Age: 17
Gender: Male

Personality: Though he came from a rich family he has a rather reserved and shy personality. Due to his upbringing and being forced indoors to study constantly he keeps to himself mostly. As well as this he tends to be one of the more intelligent kids in the class with little self confidence, he tends to avoid confrontation from others, only speaking when spoken to etc. After gaining his powers though, he becomes more strong willed gradually and begins to say what he thinks, especially to those who deem themselves to be 'above' him.

Power(s):
Invisibility: Almost in a way to compliment his personality, he has the power to turn invisible, down to the clothes he's wearing, anything on his body will turn invisible with him. His only giveaway there would be sound such as breathing and footsteps.

Appearance: David stands at 5"6 and is fairly skinny, his eyes are light red and his hair is coloured bluish-silver and is kept to the right side of his head. He has a caucasian skin tone and a relatively fair complexion, he wears a pale red shirt with a black trenchcoat over it, on his legs he wears black semi-baggy trousers with black smart shoes. Outside he wears black leather gloves too, most of the time his trenchcoat is left open while his shirt is always buttoned.

For a school uniform he wears a white shirt, black blazer and black trousers with his smart shoes.

Bio: David as a child grew up in a closed in environment of constant study, he was never allowed any real recreation with other children. Before he was even 10 years old he was labelled a child prodigy prompting even more constant learning. Later he learned from one of the manservants prior to leaving for school that he was 'not ordinary' moreso than he could realise.

Upon reaching school his studies became mixed between education and discovering what the manservant meant. His only real connections in life were those of logic, he constantly preyed over anything connecting prodigies of the past with any abnormalities though found nothing that applied to him. Giving up on an internet search he deemed himself to be a unique case that he'd have to figure out alone. Not involving anybody in the school he continued to gain more knowledge to aid him in his search.

When the day came for a school trip he couldn't avoid due to his family's strong funding he was whisked away to this scuba trip as they were bound for a location he knew had bad idea written all over it... The Bermuda Triangle.

Name: Bridgette Mends

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Personality: Bridgette’s the strong willed, bubbly one of the group. As a social butterfly by nature, she can easily adapt to whatever the group setting and fit in with most crowds... well, most popular crowds. She didn’t see to socializing with the have-nots of her school, there was something weird about most of them.

Despite this, there was an underlying nature to Bridgette. The love of her peers gave her easy access to use people for her own personal gain. She used the loner nerds to help her with her homework; she toyed with the emotions of jocks to make her enemies jealous; truly she had no shame. Eventually her peers came to realize how underhanded she could be, and what she was capable of doing to ruin people’s lives in high school. This admiration was soon replaced with fear. Either way, she continued to manipulate and revelled in their ‘respect’. This power began to well up inside her, and in almost every situation Bridgette sought out to control it as its Leader.

Physical Appearance:

Bridgette has piercing green eyes shaded behind auburn hair. She's slim and athletic as part of the Cheerleading Squad. She's fairly petite, one of the shorties of the group at a staggering 5 feet even, which gave her easy access to the Cheerleading Team as one of their leading Flyers.

She's fair skinned with mild freckles, not only on her face. She has a pair of distinguishable dark birthmarks on her collarbone which have always bugged her, causing her to cover up a little more than the average girl of her popularity.



Ability: Telemetry: also known as Electronic/Digital Communication is the psychic perception, detection and the manipulationof the digital/electronic/radio waves within electronic devices. The user acts as a living internet hub, allowing them to sift through the internet and electronic/digital/radio waves with their mind. Furthermore, they can manipulate existing waves and receive and create their own, giving them the ability to communicate with any computer or radio on the fly, regardless of whether it has a working connection.

• This ability may also allow the projection of one's voice over radio, digital or electronic transmissions/recordings (called the Electric Voice Effect/Phenomenon or EVE or EVP)

Bio: Bridgette grew up in a very wealthy family. Her father works as a lawyer, while her mother died shortly after Bridgette was born. To make up for the loss of a parent, her father showered her with extra attention, giving her whatever she wanted, when she wanted it. As a child, she was enrolled in several extracurricular group activities where she flourished as a leader. She’d often take the helm and drive the team forward towards victory, and the confidence she had gained her the respect and admiration of her peers.

However as soon as she reached her early teens, she realized what sort of power this gave her over others. As she reached maturity she manipulated most around her. She controlled her father into giving her whatever she wanted, and she manipulated her school peers into doing favours for her at very little to gain for them.

In High school, Bridgette was one of the Queen Bees of popularity, however her social status took a nose dive when she was assigned for the Scuba Diving trip. With failing grades in Geography, Bridgette was forced to take the Scuba Diving trip to try and bring her marks back up to par. She wasn’t aware that the trip would allow her to grow as a person and force her to relinquish control.

Gender: Female

Personality: Iglesias is the stoic type. She is able to endure an immense amount of hardship and difficulty seemingly without flinching. So much that she was called Ice Queen for that. The reason for her stoicism is just due to her cranial capacity, her natural tendency for logical thinking and a fragile mindset that she does not want to cause anyone to become bothered, which festered from extensive bullying.

More in depth, Iglesias is a carefree bookworm of sort. Her amazing brain processing power meant that she was far more intelligent than her classmates. She was inquisitive and had a precocious talent to absorb knowledge like a sponge. She was willing to share her knowledge with anyone that was willing to listen. While this brought on admiration from many of her classmates, her appearance also brought on the onset of bullying due to her being so different. She appeared physically more mature than her classmates along with her distinct white hair and eye colours, which made her stand out. At that time, her family was in a difficult position and in order to lessen their burden, decided to endure the bullying without actually understanding why. During the height of the bullying, at around entry into High School (Year 7-8), Iglesias went through a period of chronic depression, pondering on why she was being bullied. She, unfortunately, mistakenly diagnosed that her intelligence was the cause (as does most cases of bullying) and as a result she stopped trying at school, in order to go under the radar. While she remains steps above her classmates, her lack of attempt at work has academically ranked her down near the bottom. She is now rather indifferent when things happen. She is very calm, collected and appear to be unfazed by most things, which she thinks resulted in the bullying to cease. She has yet to realise her intelligence was not the cause. This misconception is made worse with the timely decrease of bullying when she began to stop trying, which was more so the result of maturing teens than her going under the radar.

While the bullying has disappeared, her personality remains somewhat unchanged. She has begun to work a bit at school, and she does interact with friends and other people, but if left to her own devices, Iglesias appear almost always gazing into the sky or just generally resting idly.

When with friends, she would be the quieter one, but she cares for her friend greatly. This is due to the little number of friends she has had during her bullying period. She shows her care via actions, that she would do anything in her utmost ability to protect and care for her friends. They act as her mental support for her fragile outer shell and anything they say, she takes to heart.

Power(s): Aerokinesis is the ability to control wind and air in any way Iglesias wills it.

Appearance: Iglesias is tall and mature for her age. Her appearance gives off an older aura than she actually is. Her height is staggering 181cm tall and weigh in at about 52 kg. Befitting of her tall stature, she is proportioned with a generous bust and hip size and a model's elegance and grace.

Her hair, as one of the major causes, is pure snow white. She lets it grow as it will, reaching down past her knees. Her side bangs are rather long past her jaw lines while in the middle, her fringe naturally spears into a somewhat triangular shape near the middle while the sides flick towards her side bangs. Iglesias possess a nice, crystal light blue eyes and a very distinct angular eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows. At the bottom corner of each eye is a beauty spot. Her eyes features, her angular nose and her plumper lips have always given Iglesias a beautiful and mature appearance beyond her age, which is the core of the bullying.

Her clothings are relatively simple. Outside of uniform, she wears a white belly revealing tank top with a zip up leather vest on top. On her legs, she wears loose, knee height leather shorts which has a overall style front, but lacks straps and is left hanging like an apron. The back section, however, is a waist half skirt that hangs down to her ankles. Iglesias shoes are casual hi top black converses with black fingerless gloves on her hand.

Bio: Iglesias was born into a wealthy family of her parents, herself and an older sister and younger brother. Their initial wealth came from her parents hard work, but what propelled them to riches was help and advice from their their two daughters (son is still too young). Whilst all three children are bright, Iglesias were years ahead, even more so than her university sister. When she was young, Iglesias was always keen to share her knowledge with whoever was willing to lend an ear. In primary school, she was ahead of all her classmates. What was also different about her was that she appeared more mature than the rest. She was taller than the boys and more developed than even some of the girls in the years above, face and body wise. This drew the attention of the older girls in the upper grades. In addition, her odd hair and eye colour also made her a target for bullying due to it being so different.

It was during this time that her parents business faltered. She knew how stressed they were, so Iglesias decided to endure. She continued straight through to early high school, where after years, she developed depression due to her not knowing why she was bullied. In a state of confusion, she thought it might have been her intelligence, as she believed to be most often the case. From then, she began to not try in school and her grades took a dive, from one of the best in the nation, to one of the worst in her grade. It did not help her misconception that people began to ease of the bullying due to them maturing up, which only furthered enforced in Iglesias' head that it was because of her intelligence. While her parents stabilised and regain back to where they were, Iglesias continued with her indifferent nature. She did begin to pick up her studies slightly, still far from where she was before, only doing enough to earn her a passing grade.

Her small group of friends whom stuck by her from Primary convinced her to go on a trip to relax and try to open up back to when she was when she was in primary school. Iglesias listens to every word her friends says due to the mental support they give her and on this case, agreed to join a scuba diving trip with several of her class mates and a teacher. God only knew how much she would have to change and break through her mental barriers and outlook on this trip that would change her life....
