You know those songs that you really do not like but people insist on playing them over and over again? And you can list songs from any era and any genre.

Bye Bye Bye (NSync): Girls at my grade school would play this song over and over again, and it would drive me crazy. The melody is not appealing at all.

I'm going to get hell for this but...

Bohemian Raphsody (Queen): Yeah I really do not like this song. it's just a bunch of weird voices and lyrics I can't understand. I know I've just stated something blasphemous but never have liked this song. Maybe it has some deeper meaning that I am just not getting, but I really do not care.
 

More of an orchestral piece than a song, but I just can't stand it. I can't stand it's pretentious arrangement, it's obnoxious repetitiveness and its insultingly simplistic composition. I understand how I didn't make much sense, I suppose it's more subjective than anything. The fact that they played this in nearly every trailer in 2009 didn't help either.

I know how you feel.

I don't understand the hype over this song.

All my friends loved it and made me listen to it and I'm like, 'It really isn't anything special.'

Nothing about it stands out in a good way. It's just bleh in my opinion.

I thought I was the only one missing what the big deal about it was. XD

Another one would be: Sandi Thom - I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in My Hair)

I dunno why but everyone around me seemed to love this when it came out and I was like, WTF?

This was crap. What punk rocker wears flowers in their hair?
 
Aw I love that song...I wish I was a Punk Rocker with flowers in my hair...I think it was supposed to be about hippies more than punk nowadays.

Bad Romance - Lady Gaga

It bites. The lyrics are crap, the oh la la la wtfever part is annoying, and the video is laughable. It's her most over rated song.
 
Pretty much anything by Gaga and Kesha in particular :hmmm:

That aside, the vast majority of love songs, way too many nowadays and it's getting overdone :jtc:
 
ANYTHING by the likes of Justine Beaver.

I'm fed up of his scrawny little face everywhere and he sings like a girl. People may hate me for saying this, but seriously. He's not even HIT puberty yet. His voice has yet to break. I've lost respect for Usher for discovering this so-called talent.
 
Every Nirvana song ever made. I hated that band back in the day, I hate them now. Last night, on Skype, I believe I said "If I made music that shitty I would blow my face off with a shotgun too".

I stand by that. I'm glad Cobain is dead, now we won't get anymore shitty Nirvana music. :griin:

Hmm.. I dunno if anyone's ever heard of them but in my area Cage the Elephant is a pretty big band, and every song they do not only sounds the same, shitty, but also rips off Sublime, who I'm already not a fan of.

I know so many people who love this song, yet it irritates the hell out of me. I think it's because it's just so relentlessly chirpy. Whenever I hear it, I just have an intense desire to punch her in the face, there's happy... and then there's that.

They are straight garbage imo....!!!!

Weak lyrics..simple stupid beats..only the vocals seem to have a bit of value....Gaga's case that is.. Kesha is BS all the way :lew:

OH MY FUCKING GOD! :rage:!!, I detest this song with a heated passion of hell. Nothing in this song sounds right; the lyrics are horrible, and the techno is WAAAAAY over the top. Let's not forget to mention that their vocals suck major ass. :hmph:. I don't think I have hated a song as much as I hate this one. :hmph:

Really? Smells more like a shitty, whiny, angst filled song to me. I can't hear the first two seconds of this song without going into a blind rage. The moment I hear those badly strummed power chords, I almost punch a hole in my car stereo.

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed, Who owns My Heart, See You Again, -- talentless, absolute garbage, this girl needs to sign a new contract with Disney and get back on Hannah Montana because that's the only way she'll do anything good in the music industry, I mean no hard feelings on the girl but seriously you have a country voice! Sing COUNTRY MUSIC, you are not mainstream enough, that song Ordinary Girl? Its good she should do that more often, and honestly how can someone who's daddy bought her her way into the biz say that it should be harder than going on YouTube to be an ARTIST? They have one good song, and the rest is like WTF do people see? The lyrics are awful, the music is boring, the vocals are okay. I don't see why people think they're so good though.

I find them boring.

This may turn into a longass rant, I dunno yet.

First off, I detest Muse, they're boring as hell, their music is generic and repetitive and the singer's voice really grinds me. Not only that but Bellamy plays Rachmaninoff on a freakin' keyboard, that's like base blasphemy in my books.

Arctic Monkeys, again, I can't see what the big thing is; they're so gratingly boring it's unbelievable. I mean, I dislike muse, but they had a decent song with 'Plug in Baby,' I can't think of a single redeeming feature of this band.

Ke$ha's music is totally reprehensible; looking like a complete and utter trainwreck is better left to the people who have had decades of practice for it, the jazz musicians, the rock musicians and the blues musicians. These people make better music stoned off their heads than Ke$ha does sober. After watching 'Take if Off' I think I may have caught an STD. Her voice is annoying, she autotunes EVERYTHING and her lyrics are totally and utterly devoid of meaning.

'My Humps' and 'Boom Boom Pow' by Black Eyed Peas. These songs just really really annoy the hell out of me.

Snow Patrol. Seriously, was there anything every interesting about these people? No charisma, no groundbreaking innovation, no soul, nothing.

I'm not just a pop-hater. I love Cee Lo Green, I can enjoy Lady Gaga, but people like the above stated, as well as Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Enrique Iglesias should not be allowed near a microphone, because every time they do, I want to stab my ears.
