I was a dummy and hit two. Lol. Edited the poll to change my vote to #3 .

Love the colours, that the C4D is smooth and "goes with the flow". Very nice entry. =]

I've gone for number 5. I love the kinda grainy effect used for it. All the others seem reeeeeally nice too though...I just went for the one that stood out the most to me in terms of style :).

Guys, if you have something to say about why you voted for you particular entry...like I know its not compulsory or anything, but please do. It really helps point other entrants into the right direction as to what you're looking for. Again, I know you don't have to but it's actually quite helpful when you do. That's all :)

Okay, on to the entries!

#1
This is really beautiful (and Myles <3). The colours work really well together, and there's a lot of little details that are really nice. The lighting is spot-on (pun intended :P ) and I do detect a bit of scan-line and smudge texture as well, overall very nice. However, I do feel like there could've been something more I'm not too sure what, though. Maybe a subtle effect c4d? Something to make it sparkle a little more? Maybe it needs more of a tweak...but this is really a beautiful signature.

#2
I must say I do like the style of this. The render is blended in very well, and I do like the mix of red and green (however it is a little funny that I own the same c4d pack and I know which one you used :P ). I don't believe this singnature needed any text, as it is busy enough and would take focus away from the render. The way you've used the c4d however does take away from the light source, and makes the lighting look a little off. Also, there isn't really much of a background to it. I suggest to be a little more subtle with your c4d use, but otherwise it is a truly beautiful sig :)

#3
Whoever made this, I would looooooovvveee for you to tell me how you did it. Like, link me to a tutorial or PSD something, because this is just gorgeous. I really like how even the little shards follow the one light source, it really helps to tie everything in the signature together. Your effects also really help the flow of the signature, which was really well done. Also, SO MUCH DEPTH LIKE WOW. There is a really clear distinction between forgorund and background and you've managed to get that depth spot on. The only thing I'm not too hot about is the text, but I don't think you could have made it any more flashy in a way that would take away from the rest of the signature. Very very verrrryyy well done.

#4
Is that....a pirate ship? I've been staring at this for ages and only just worked out what it was. NICE TOUCH. Like #3 , there is a really clear distinction between forground and background, and thus a lot of depth, which is really good. The text is really nice too, as it seems to fit in quite well with the rest of the signature. Your lighting is very nice, and your soft brushes and splatter brushes are a really nice touch. My only issue is that is doesn't seem very blended. The pirate ship and Lara are two very separate things. Possibly adding more elements that fit the light source will make lara feel more blended into the signature without smudging or anything like that. Still, love the signature, and the B&W thing is great :)

#5
Very nice, subtle effects on this one. the scattered scan lines are a nice touch, as well as that radial blur. To me it seems like you could've gotten a more high-quality render, as it's the texture of the signature that's putting me off a bit. Still, I admire your work with a render that doesn't have one single direction of flow. You did well. Also, I would like to see how this works without the border. It's a pretty thick border and it doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot for the sig. Lastly, I do like the little spots, it's a subtle touch. But it seems you've used Color Dodge as a blending mode too much, and this could make the colour a little harch on the eyes. I suggest playing around with blending modes (this is also assuming you're using Photoshop, btw) and seeing what you can come up with. Overall, this was a very nice signature.

My top 3 were: #3 , #4 , and #1 . In the end I went with #3 . Well done to all who entered. I've been out of this game for a while, its really amazing to see how much people have improved! :)
