I've gone for option 2. I like how the music theme runs through, from the character to the notes in the background .

I voted for number one. Usually I'd probably say that it's a bit too busy for my liking as the text and the render are really hard to make out on first glance, but overall it's just something different and I like that.

Simplicity(probably not the right word) of the second one is very cool though.
