1. Just for the fact I like the alien focus. while 2 is nice the whole smiley face things on the ballons just doesn't grab me. Where as the alien in the first one does grab my attention.
 
I voted number 2. I feel that the simplicity of it with the balloons and smiley's actually helped it. I feel that the first one with the background made it a bit too much for me to realize it was an alien at first.
