The Battle will take place in small town to the far west of Rumania in which countless slayings were reported and several villigers, warriors and many others were missing. It is here, where the cruel massacre led by Nightmare begun once again. Not long after Siegfriedm the former Nightmare, stabbed Soul Edge's eye and sealed the sword a new enemy arrived. This enemy gave new life to this evil and summoned the Azure Knight known as "Nightmare" once again. Nightmare however, while not possessing a physical body of his own must constantly feed on the souls of strong warriors in order to sustain his strength and satisfy the evil hunger of his phantom blade.

A few days later, a war raged between the small villigers who were easily maniuplated by the dark essence of Soul Edge. This essence was said to drive men mad and drawn the whole evil they have sealed deep within their hearts. Siegfried knew this darkness when he was the puppet of Soul Edge, and now that same darkness threatens to destroy him once again. The quest to finally put an end to this nightmare has begun....

After Siegfried sealed Soul Edge with the power of Soul Calibur, the essence of the cursed sword escaped and found its way to the remains of Nightmare's shattered armor. Not long after Siegfried left carrying both swords with him, a mysterious man known as "Zazalamel" appeared. He talked with the spirit of Soul Edge and finally agreed to help it. By using an ancient ritual and the souls surrounding the area, Zazalamel was capable of giving the spirit of Soul Edge a new physical body, similar to the former Azure Knight. Suddenly after this, a phantom blade appeared in Nightmare's hand which had a slight resemblance to the physical Soul Edge.

After finally recovering part of his former self, Nightmare took his sword and began his quest for the resurrection of Soul Edge and to make his sword whole once again.

OOC: It begins now XD

IOC: After arriving at one of the towns, Nightmare found himself surrounded by a band of mercenaries. These warriors came with the sole purpose of having their revenge on Nightmare for great suffering this demon caused. Nightmare however, was calmed because he knew this fools would never stan a chance against him but still he couldn't take the risk of being delayed by these men.

One of the warriors drew his blade and vehemently he demanded Nightmare to surrender, how foolish. Nightmare turned his face, the cracking sound of metal was the only thing that could be heard and suddenly, a growl followed by a faint evil laughter.

"Do you really think you can stop me..."

The warrior stepped back but soon regained the courage he needed to attack Nightmare. After Nightmare senses his opponent's presence close enough for sword range, Nightmare took his phantom blade and blocked the incoming attack. After that he used his right arm to grabe his enemy by the neck and then toss him against his companions. The others, frightened with the sole idea of losing their souls against the Azura Knight fled with cowardice.

Unfortunately, the man who Nightmare tossed was unable to stand and was at the mercy of Nightmare.

"I shall share with you....my DARKNESS!!!"

After this, the only thing that could be heard were the cowardly screams of the man echoing in the distance...

Nightmare noticed the presence of another unfortunate warrior. Not losing any valuable time he rushed towards his enemy and jumped into the unknown escenary.

"Do not delude yourself wretched human.... You can't stop this....NIGHTMARE!!"

After arriving, he noticed the presence of another person, this one was quite familiar. Suddenly Nightmare realized that this man was Siegfried, the one who served once as his body.

"The time is right, you shall become part of me....this time..I shall take my body back!!"
 
we are getting close we need to make haste

((pitiful role playing. STL, how do you stand it? Byt the way, since Nightmare was taken, the guy I wanted to role play as, I will use Zasalamel. By the way, can we use more than one character? If so, I call Cervantes and Yoshimitsu. If not, someone else may use these two.))

Zasalamel walked into a village, seeing Nightmare ripping apart some helpless bandits. "Men not worthy to live are being brought down by a nightmarish foe. Briliant sight for me to behold." He walked up to Nightmare, who was preparing a fight with Sigfried. "Nightmare, go and collect souls, lot's of them." He began to turn away and leave. "Oh, and Sigfried, your Soul Calibur needs to be complete with Soul Edge. I'll await that day."

after arriving he see nighmare killing off a weak human and starts to walk toward nightmare.

"nightmare your going to die here fiend. better make this fun. i don't like weakings"
 
OOC: *sighs* I know Gaaramaster, but the old good days are long since gone...I miss RP Girl.

IOC:

Nightmare grabed with his right arm one of the guards who stumbled across his path and used him to hurled it against his enemies. Many fled in terror as the Azure Knight claimed more and more souls. In the middle of this chaos that he caused, Nightmare lost trac of both Siegfried and Soul Edge.

Not knowing their whereabouts, Nightmare decided to follow the trail of evil energy left behind by Soul Edge. After walking for countless hours he finally stumbled across an ancient clock tower, and sensing a familiar presence, Nightmare ventured himself into the unknown.

The sounds of cogweels and many mechanisms that mantained the functions of this clock tower filled the air while Nightmare's footsteps echoed through the tower. Finally he reached the top and in there he felt the presence of an old "ally".

Zasalamel watched as Nightmare entered the clock tower. He cut a rope, and a giant gear came crashing to the ground, rolling towards the armored man, who lept out of the way. "Your quicker than I thought. But you are still just a lowly pawn, only existing to gain souls for the Soul Edge. Let's fight, shall we? I've got the time." He lept down to the floor where Nightmare stood, his scythe in hand. He swung it at Nightmare's arm which held Soul Edge.

Nightmare turned arround only to find himself between the Zasalamel's scythe and one of the cogweels. Nightmare had no other choice than to dodge desperately the incoming attack and taking the risk of almost falling from the tower.

Quickly, Nightmare retook his fighting stance and smirked after realizing that Zasalamel was only trying to manipulate him for his own selfish goals.

"ARGH!!!"

With this intimidating battle cry Nightmare jumped high in the air and came down bringing the whole weight of his sword against Zasalamel.

"DIE!!!"
 
Zasalamel brought his scythe up to block, struggling under the weight. "Don't you see your weakness yet? You are nothing more than a hellish nightmare, an empty suit of armor! YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY HOPE TO WIN!" He went into a frenzy of slashes. "Be lucky you can just die."
 
siegfried heard a nosie came come the distant

"someone must be fighting in a clock tower i sould check it out"

heads toward's the clock tower

"i will find you"
 
Not having much of a choice, Nightmare used the overwhelming size of his blade to block most of Zasalamel's attacks, yet he found himself cornered against the edge of the giant cogweel in which the were fighting; one false step and Nightmare was doomed.

Suddenly he noticed an opening in Zasalamel's defenses giving Nightmare a chance to counter attack.

While breathing heavily and wielding his phantom blade against this new found nemesis, Nightmare knew he had little chances of success due to his weakened state.

"ARGH....ARGH!!! I shall share with you my darkness!!!"
