Square Enix and SCEJ discussing Final Fantasy IX PSN release date

In Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto’s latest tweet, he’s revealed that development on the PSone Classics port of Final Fantasy IX for PlayStation Network is one-hundred percent complete – including a finished play-test.

Now, Square Enix and Sony Computer Entertainment Japan are working together to decide a release date on the re-release.

Well, it's good to know that everything's in order for it's release. I honestly don't know when it's coming out but, hopefully soon I guess it does really matter to me since I still have it on the PS but to those that want it... xD

Yay Ix is officially coming. Ugh I think next month it shall be on playstation store. And Im glad of this because I lost My IX copy long agao and now I can play it by buying a card

That's good news for people eager to revisit FFIX. It can't be that hard to find a good release date - it's not like it's going to have serious competition. I would normally cheer a little as well, but my copy of FFIX is still alive for now.

Hopefully the three FF games on there will be received well so SE considers re-releasing their back catalogue.

'Bout time though. IX is finally coming out for PSN, huh? I still have it for the PS, but I still want it (mostly 'cause disc 1 is so scrathcy).
