More overseas WiiWare shenanigans from Square Enix. A couple of days after announcing a Japanese release for Lit, the company announced today that it will be localizing Lost Winds Winter of Melodias.

This, of course, shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Square Enix brought the first Lost Winds game over last year as well.

Melodias will arrive here on December 22, priced at 1,000 Wii Points.

Just appreciate it's here with the beautiful screenshots! You don't need that rude tone. Asabella took time uploading them. It may concern some people here, you don't know that.

I hope Melodias won't be as woefully short as the first one and I've yet to download it. The first Lostwinds was the one download I had that really made me love the Wii again.

No what im being rude about is that Winter Of Melodias is already here... it was released a while ago, not the 22nd Dec, so obviously the source is wrong.

It's not wrong. It's not out in Japan yet.

The kanji in one of the screenshots gives a clue.
 
Well the post should of specified that it was being Localized for Japan, most users on this forum are English or American... they wouldn't know the difference when she posted; 'Melodias will arrive here on December 22, priced at 1,000 Wii Points.'

There's my proof. They're saying that in addition to localizing Lit for their country, they decided to localize Winter of Melodias as well.

I was interested to see that Square Enix is taking on another project.

Like Olivia said, in the images there are kanji. I don't think we use those in North America or Europe.

Nowhere on the original post does it say "NA/EU release of Winter of Melodias out now" or some such. It says "Square Enix localizing". Square Enix HQ is in Japan, is it not?

Well whats the point looking at the source when you already posted all the information?

The only reason I assumed it was wrong is because games tend to come out in Japan before anything.
 
The point would be that you're coming in here accusing me of being wrong for posting the thread, and you didn't look up the facts or pay attention to the details.
