As if that massive four disc soundtrack that followed FFXIII's December release wasn't enough, Square Enix has a new soundtrack on the way for the RPG hit.

The Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack PLUS soundtrack will feature the background music that was added to the overseas version of the game. This was, obviously, not included in the January compilation. There will also be some newly arranged tracks from composer Masashi Hamauzu.

Look for the Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack Plus version on May 26 at ¥2,500. Pre-orders are now being taken at the Square Enix online shop.

Sweet. I do like the music so far. C: Thanks for the news

Its good news, but gutting for those like me who went a bought the soundtrack D:
Think there's a possiblity of just getting the Plus part of it? aha

Sweet. I'm enjoying the massive soundtrack already. Although I can't really pin point what was made for the West release. Probably have to beat the whole game to pick it out I suspect :hmmm:

Considering how absolutely awful I found the soundtrack of this game overall, I can't say I'm exactly thrilled. Still, some remixes of certain tracks (Born Anew, Fighting Fate and The Sunleth Waterscape are about the only three I actually like) would be welcomed. I expect I'll end up downloading it when it becomes available...

Oh yay but like what kind oif music? stuff that we never seen before? :jess: If so thats awesome. But what do they meen by additional tacks. Will there be some DLC places and tracks of the dlc places. Im kinda lost here
