Resident Evil: Break Point
The helicopter soared over the desolate slums of Kijuju, the cerulean morning blue sky beamed down onto the hot land. Sheva grasped her precious diamond necklace and held it to her chest whilst briefly closing her eyes. Taking in deep steady breaths Sheva was preparing herself for her first mission, she had been assigned to check out the Kijuju slums and to report any suspicious happenings. The helicopter began to lower towards a sand covered road which ran through a small section of Kijuju. The habitats slowly backed away, hiding away from the vehicle as it landed on the ground, Sheva hopped out of the side and onto the ground, bringing herself to her feet she looked around, the people scowling and almost growling at her. Sheva turned to her partner manning the chopper.
“Good luck. Keep your guard up, Sheva.” Josh said, adding some of his useful advice.
“Don't worry, Josh, everything will be fine.” Sheva said, half smiling.
“If you see anything suspicious, contact me immediately.” Josh replied.
“I'll be fine!” Sheva laughed.
Josh had a worried smile before Sheva ordered him to return to base. The chopper was soon out of sight and Sheva made sure she had all her equipment, she took out her handgun and checked it's current capacity before returning it to its sleeve. She stepped across the street her hands behind her back admiring the Kijuju slum. The people had hidden themselves away from her into the shadows, they were holding onto the sides of buildings poking their heads round to watch Sheva, it was as if she was something terrestrial. Sheva nervously shifted part of her fringe to the side and quickly stepped away. As Sheva approached a tight alleyway, she noticed that she was constantly being watched, and as she stepped further away from the people, they followed behind and would hide from her when she would face them. A man approached Sheva from the end of the alleyway, he had half red eyes and scarring on his face. Sheva observed his every move, squinting her eyes at the appropriate time.
“What is it you desire here?” He asked, in a rough voice.
“I have come to observe Kijuju.” Sheva replied bravely.
“These people don't need you to babysit. You may leave.” He said.
Sheva regarded the man, he seemed to be a spokes person for the slum, the people began to slowly gather around as if it was a big event. Sheva glanced around her and as the man stood up straight her looked her up and down. Sheva took a deep breath and swallowed her pride for a moment. The man stepped closer to her, from this distance, Sheva could smell his essence, he released a rotting smell that made Sheva cower to the side and cover her nose and shut her eyes.
“You are no longer welcome here, leave now.” He said sinisterly.
“I mean no harm.” Sheva replied.
“There is nothing for you to see, return to where you came from.” He insisted.
“What is it you are hiding here?” Sheva asked promptly.
“I am not going to ask you again...” He said, his tone turned harsh and his expression began to boil.
