Basically, I'm currently on a course entitled "Introduction to Being a Classroom Assistant". One of my assignments is to make a Story Sack. I'm a bit stuck because my chosen book is The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson- a childhood favourite. I've currently got the book, an activity where the children create fireworks with chalk on black paper, an soft toy owl which is huge but I guess it'll have to do as "Plop" the little Barn Owl because it took me three days to find him, and he was literally the only soft owl toy in the charity shops in the Conwy area. I also have a poem for children to read, but I feel that I need more. If anyone is familiar with the story and can remember or suggest any activities I could include in a pack which is designed to go home with the parents of the kids, I'd be extremely grateful
