(This RP will take place 100 years after the events of the X-men 3: the last stand movies and the only one cannon character that will be in it is Logan (wolverine) who will infact be a kind of leader to the rest of the group)
Storyline overview:
100 years ago, magneto led a group of Mutants he called the brotherhood in an attempt to destroy the 'mutant cure' that the regular human's had devised from the powers of a mutant who's power subdued other mutants powers temporarily. this attack failed thanks to the heroic efforts of the X-men, led by wolverine as their leader professor X had recently been killed.
20 years after the cure was created Side effects began to develop in mutants who had been given it, this side effect caused a violent reaction in the mutants cells and in time caused an excruciatingly painful death. the mutants who hadn't received the cure became resentful of the human's and were lead to believe by the remaining brotherhood members that the human's were trying to kill off all mutants. this lead to a war broke out between the Human's and the Mutants.
80 years the world has been at war, and there is no end in sight, now, Logan has come out of hiding in order to lead a new group of mutants, against their own kind in order to save humanity.
