As you may be aware, myself and Vegnya are now the new moderators for the Role Playing section. The rules are in the process of being made, but for now, we're asking the role playing community to put forward any suggestions they may want to share with us. Your suggestions will be taking into great consideration.

Although we're asking for suggestions, we don't want to see any spamming or flaming. If this happens, then some posts are going to get deleted. So put your suggestions here and we'll get back to you.

for those who have problems writing a proper english sentance (weather this is due to beeing dyzlectic or english not beeing your first language or any other "excuse" -for want of a better word-) I would like to suggest open office, its a free "spinoff" from microsofts office programs that can be downloaded from here which has a fully functioning spellcheck and alot of other neat stuff built in totally free of charge... this might be a good idea for some of the members here...

There should be a rule against having illegible posts. I'm in a rpg where a member(not saying names), seems to be unable to put quotations and end marks in his posts. Makes it very difficult to read.

My point exactly!

EDIT: i second above statement *revvs up the minigun*

Anyone who posts something that simply cannot be read should be shot repeatedly in the face.

How about an ideas sticky? Somewhere you can post ideas for threads and get other people's thoughts on them.

Might be cool, however my experiance with those things is that they tend to turn into either shoutwars or just get "raped" for want of a better term...

Report them to me or Vegnya and I'll deal with it. Anyone who doesn't put quotation marks should be reported immediately.

Um ... this is an ideas sticky?

Suggestions = Ideas

not sure about that one, but maybe more as an "i would like this and that" and then have a bunch of experianced roleplayers look at it and have an opinion...

If that is so, then I would make a thread on the character profile forum unless you'd like to do it yourself?

Suppose i could... i should have a "guide to roleplaying bios" i once wrote somewhere...

Going along with this statement, I have a guide for how to roleplay to get the fullest most in depth post you can write. It is sort of a example on how to expand your thoughts into better paragraphs and such. I may not have it anymore, due to my computer's hard drive got erased, but it may actually be on another site. I will look for it. Well, if that is okay.

Mine is in the bio forum under "for expert eyes" feel free to move//rename as you see fit...
