The Sunday special is a special feature where I will be picking a short game that I can do one episode of, this week it was FTL otherwise known as Faster than light!

FTL is a space rouge-like based around managing your crew and subsystems in order to defeat the EVIL REBEL SCUM

In this video, the valiant crew of the SS Potato head off to try to deliver important information to the leaders of the federation, will they succeed?! (probably not)


If any of you have recommendations for future games to play for Sunday Special, I would be glad to hear them here or in the comments of the video!

I think you should do a Let's Play Special of a board game. Dungeons&Dragons, Monopoly.... or my personal childhood favorite:

Both games are very involved and probably would take more than one day showing.

As for a good one day special, might show some fun boss fights from certain games, which can be particularly hard.

Oh btw FTL looks like great fun. Thank you for sharing.

Thinking of another idea. A quest or optional area from a game too.

So specific bosses or less known areas instead of short games? That is a good idea that I never would have considered otherwise. Do you have any particular ones in mind?
 
Sorry I haven't posted earlier. When I come up with an idea which I think might suit this thread, I will add.

Think MMOs or console RPGs.

There was a boss we came up with, for the old RPG here, which was from from Super Mario RPG, Legend of the Seven Stars, which I was thinking about. But might be too much. Culex Was looking at that game last night. Man it is so much like the old Final Fantasies. Now I know why 7 and 9 remind me so much of Mario Brothers. One thing I like about VIII, the characters didn't have the Mario Brothers look. But still had a similar fight system.
