Nintendo Super Mario RPG

I really liked it but id stick to old plumbing platforming mario!
I hate paper mario and mario kart is awesome so it's my 3rd favourite mario type.
 
Possibly one of my favorite RPGs ever. I love it, wish it would be remade in some way like many former games.
 
I remember that game! It was awesome, but it has really been forever since I've played it! *sigh* There are just so many great games I want to replay now....lol
 
Heh. Funny you should bring it up. I just bought it on eBay today for $11.99.

That and SoM, SoE, Earthbound, and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kongquest. Yeah, I went a little crazy today. ^_^
 
This game was one of the better RPG games for the SNES. I heard Nintendo or so was making a new Mario RPG that was much more similar to this than Paper Mario.

Paper Mario was a personal let down. I though Super Mario RPG was awesome because the end boss wasn't Bowser but someone different. Bowser was a really cool teammate. It was such a funny game.

The supposed Final Fantasy boss? Ah man, I enjoyed this fight so much because it was much harder than the final boss for SM:RPG.

I was kinda disappointed when they capped the max level at 30.

Oh remember the power-rangers-wanna-bes? That was another nice fight I enjoyed. I have to admit they were hard.

Almost forgot, I beat em. Lost first few times but eventually took em down.

Yea those power ranger guys were funny.

I thought this game was not that good when I started it, but once I played it for a while i got hooked and ended up really liking it. I think I might play it again here soon.
 
One of the best games that came out of the SNES, shame I had to wait for it on emulator to get to play it though. The semi-sequels Paper Mario 1+2 and the Mario & Luigi games on the GC, GBA and DS are well worth a look too.
 
The orginal for the SNES is great. I was and still addicted to the game.
Great storyline, gameplay, battle system and etc. The graphics are very
good for the SNES. It was rather enjoyable, and I love it.
 
I remember that game back in the day, I played it a hella lot. I'm pretty sure I beat the game. But it's been so long I can remember how the game actually was, has to be atleast 8-10 years ago.

I used to own this game and it rocked. i mean, really, good game system and the first time mario's nemesis bowser teams up with him. another good part was the secret boss fight with Culix and the four elemental crystals. I have got to find this game again!!
 
No, this is actually the correct forum for the game. It was made by nintendo and by square. At that time Square was on the SNES.
