It will come as a shock to those of you who feared and detested Xehanort's Heartless (who called himself Ansem), that he did not discover the Heartless first.
We did.
We discovered the Heartless before anyone else: we created them, and set the most powerful rulers (such as Ansem) up to fall for them.
In truth, we failed to use the Heartless to currupt Ansem the Wise: and he locked us away in our own world. However, we pulled a few strings, and Ansem's assistant - Xehanort - was good enough for us.
But while the puppets of the Heartless threw their weight around, slowly succumbing to true shadow, we were still locked in our manor: but no longer.
With Ansem killed in the World that never Was, he was no longer able to operate the machines that continued to entrap us.
And now we rise.
We rise above the dust of the corpses of our enemies.
We rise above the light.
We rise above the lies, the pain, the agony.
We rise, for a view, of the destruction down below.

This rp takes place after Kingdom Hearts.
Fifty years after the events of Kingdom Hearts II, to be precise. All main characters are conveniently dead. So there: no canan characters.
A massive World has just come into view: the Heartless Kingdom, where we: the Heartless Barons reside.
Our armies have been built up over three quarters of a century: and now we strike.
There are few worlds left: Radiant Garden, Twilight Town, Destiny Islands and Traverse Town are all that remain.
And now we will crush them.

The characters will be the New Restoration Comitee (the good side, trying to preserve Radiant Garden, and branching out to help other worlds) and the Heartless Barons trying to destroy them.
There won't be a huge conflict just yet: I'd rather just small platoons going in and out, and then we can knock it up a knotch.

To join, I'll ask everyone to PM me a sample of their RPing skills. I'd like to think of myself as quite competent, and it irritates me when I am face with one-liner posts.
To ensure this, I'm going to put up three major rules.

The Heartless Barons will each be the Lord of certain basic Heartless. At the bottom will be a Heartless List of ones to choose from, and beneath there will be a list of Heartless that will be in this - but cannot bew chosen from as minions.
Each minion can have a sort of: Power-form. A Massively powerful version of themselves. You can design your own, but two fit in with others. You'll see what I mean at the bottom.
Another character I'm interested to have is a sort of turn-coat. An ex-baron, this character would be the leader of the Muchrooms and the Rare Truffles.

-Personality: Friendly, but slightly gruff. Grahinne is defensive of his friends, but quick to anger.
-Appearance: Grahinne wears plain iron armor. His dark hair is shoulder-length, and wavy, whilst his face has a juicy tan, with brown eyes.
-Weaponry: Broadsword
-Fighting Style: Offensive. Grahinne tends to simply push the enemy back into a corner, and then finish them.
-Magical Skill: None.
-History: Grahinne grew up in the Radiant Garden, and is very patriotic. He was an intelligent kid, but only wanted to follow his father's footsteps and become a member of the Restoration Comitee. So there he is, trying to defend Radiant Garden with his life.
-Likes: Peace and quiet, a challenge.
-Dislikes: Heartless, Magic

Name: Rhogo
Side: Heartless Baron
Age: 39
Personality: Jovial, and friendly, until he enters the battle-fray. Then he is furious, and smites all in his path. He is good with his words, and can be most manipulative. He's very upper-crust.
Appearance: Rhogo is a portly figure, with a plain, round, smily face. He rarely wears armor: instead, he wears fairly old-fashioned clothes: plain white shirt, trousers, dress boots, and a waistcoat and tie. He has pale skin, and his hair is tiedback in a neat ponytail.
Weaponry: Rhogo uses knuckledusters only.
Fighting Style: Rhogo uses a combination of protective magic and sheer burte force to overpower his foes.
Magical Skill: Rhogo can use strong defensive magic, but is up to little else.
History: Rhogo is a Heartless Baron, and is seemingly ageless, having been imprisoned in the Castle since he was 39, yet hasn't aged a day. A member of the Heartless Barons, he barely speaks a word about his past.
Likes: Good food, a cause to laugh.
Dislikes: Persistent enemies, spoilsports.
'Theme Tune': That Song (Bouncing Souls)
Heartless Style: Large Body.
Name: Sorge
Side: Heartless Barons
Age: Good grief, don't ask him.
Personality: Fierce and cruel.
Appearance: Sorge wears very simple black clothes: a black shirt, trousers and very shiny buckled boots. His hair blond, and almost completely shaved. His skin is mixed race.
Weaponry: Sorge uses only the most powerful magic with which to hurt people.
Fighting Style: Crush and destroy using only the most powerful spells.
Magical Skill: Sorge is the most powerful magic user ever (according to him - don't contradict him)
History: I wouldn't ask him if you're in favor of your legs.
Likes: Anything he doesn't hate.
Dislikes: Almost everything.
