How do i beat this Idiot!!!

I am Level 50 something with over 6000 hp and still CANNOT beat this a-hole.

everytime its the exact same thing, within 30 seconds Trickster HP is almost totally gone then he does something that makes me not be able to hurt him with magic or physical attack, Mist, nothing. Then he does choco comets or something that knock the crap out of me. This goes on and on and on and on. I cast a million curaga on my characters but his protection NEVER ENDS.

What am i missing for this idiot? I am so frustrated with trickster. should be easy as hell by now but no matter what i do i CANNOT beat him.

WTF! This is ridiculous. He was down to barely any hits points and I just did two seperate Quickenings of about 8-10 chains on him and still NOTHING> Is this a glitch or something?

wait until its gone it may be long but meh lol
6000 hp should be enough as long as you keep your buffs up

You could try two different techniques:

1. Try and outlast his paling (invincibility) until it wears off, and it WILL wear off. The problem with this method is, first keeping your party alive, and second making sure you notice when his paling drops and killing him before he can reapply it. Try running around the zone and staying away from him.

2. Just before he gets into HP critical and his paling goes up try unleashing a large quickening chain to take him out before he has the chance to cast it.

Sorry dude I feel ya. I'm going through the SAME thing! The last time i found at the end when he gets invincible I tried Bio and to my amazement it worked!! It started actually hitting him... then I died. But and i do mean But... it may have been like Epix just said and his spell wore off i dunno. Good luck and post if you beat him. I just want to know he got whats coming to him

is not that difficult since you said you have 6k hp.

Also, make sure your weapons does not have any elementals added to them. Trickster can be immune to certain elements...it varies. So it's safer to just omit any elemental weapons.

I fought him when I was around level 17 or something. I came back around level 30, but for the life of me, he would not show up! It ticked me off because I was so ready to kick his chocobo butt! I'll try again later though.

I remember fighting this hunt. He's not that hard. Hell, I was like in my 30s and got mobbed halfway through the battle by skeletons and wolves. The paling really doesn't even last that long, as I recall. Although I did feel bad, that helper guy you had with you didn't make it... even though he just magically reappeared back at the hunt HQ later.

Awww dagg on it why did i have to read that?? Oh well,, those other hunters are wimps anyway so it makes since he dies. Good thing he re-appears though.

I was level 30 and fought the trickster and lost big. I'm level 55 now and going back to get that turd. Whenever he comes back.. I HATE YOU TRICKSTER!! your going down
