Ok lets hear about ur fav fighter/ fav fighting sstyles

My Fav fighter is used to be Matt Hughes, then Chuck Lidell (Iceman) but since UFC 100 Dan Handerson takes number 1 on my list =)

My fav fighting style is Capoeira =-) i did a year of it

my favorite fighter is ken shamrock, pretty much because of the time he spent in the wwf. eventhough pretty much all of the fights ive seen him in, he gets his butt kick, but thats becasue hes old already. too bad i didn't see him back in teh days when he was still in his prime

my next favorite fighter is brock lesnar, again just becasue of his wwe days.

My favorite fighter is Forrest Griffin, I like his standing game more then his ground game although he seems to remain calm in any situation he is in. He has a hard chin also and seems to be able to take any kind of beating. I like Liddell because of his kickboxing skills and he is never boring people with taking them to the ground, always seems to deliver what I like to see.

My favorite fighting styles would be kickboxing and Muay Thai, I like kickboxing because I like to see people standing and beating the hell out of eachother, I like Muay Thai alot also because of the same reason but it seems to be a little more technical with the grappling and knees, the style also has really nice kicks and I like the bows because it's a really useful weapon in the octagon.

I like Lyoto Machida, good fighter. Brock Lesnar's up there just for the fun of it, his "promo" at the end of 100 was brilliant. Although GSP is brilliant I'm not much of a fan.

Forrest Griffin has a hard chin? Since when? He was put away for good in his 2 latest bouts and against Anderson Silva he gave it up even though he wasn't really hurt. :P If you want to see a seriously hard chin, just watch Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's first bout with Wanderlei Silva. Rampage took one of the most epic beatings in the universe in that fight, receiving several soccer kicks, knees, and punches to the face before the ref finally called it off. I'm not really a fan of his, but you gotta admire tenacity like that.

I hate ground style fighting I love strikers... so of course my favorite fighter is Cro'Cop. Dude is crazy good with his kicks and if someone doesn't get him to the ground, then he's pretty much got the fight.

Now he has been knocked out with a kick or two, but he's very respectable with his skilled martial arts.

Since I am guessing this is just for UFC fighters and unless I can post about fighters from strikeforce, dream, and WEC ill do it but for now ill just stick to UFC fighters.

As of today the only UFC that are my favorite are Anderson Silva,Mirko Cro-Cop,Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and Wanderlei Silva. In my view there doing pretty good in the UFC plus they were also my favorite when they were in Pride and now in the UFC its amazing.Although I choose Nogueria over all the other 4 guys since I like the way he fights and obviously his fighting style.I really enjoyed his third fight that he had with Fedor. It was a downer that he had that staph infection during the Mir fight but shit happens seems he wont take that chance again with his upcoming fight with cain.

My favorite fighting style is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and hopefully in the summer ill start taking some classes on it might actually go to brazil and learn it to get the real expirence.

Well I like Rampage alot.
He's got got good stand up, hits really hard and his signature slams, whooboy.. plus he's got a really funny personality and attiude.
And then we have Anderson Silva, Shogun Rua, Lyoto Machida, GSP.. all great fighters.

But I don't like the fact that they bring in pro-wrestlers like Brock or streetfighters like Kimbo into the sport though. Especially since they've worked so hard to give MMA some real credibility through the years.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Kimbo, he seems to be a good guy. But he should stick to what he does best, streetfighting.

I hate the fact how fast Brock was able to get the title shot only after 2 fights in the UFC and one being a loss obviously. He was just hyped to make Dana White more money.I think hes a good fighter but i just dont like him,I want to see him face Nogueria in the future.

As for Kimbo I really liked his performance during TUF Finale looks like he improved his ground by alot and he really shows he wants to learn so thats good.I want to see how his next fight will end up.

I'm a PRIDE dude. straight up. That was MMA at it's finest. Cro Cop, Nogueira, Wanderlei Silva, Shogun, Gomi, all them. Japanese fans acually appreciated the WHOLE sport. They knew it took skill to grapple. Fans of UFC, WEC, & Strikeforce now don't know a damn thing... they just want to see two dudes murderin' each other... But that's entertainment right? If you talkin' about favorite fighter though!? It's gotta be "Dangerous" Dan Henderson!!! He is a well-rounded fighter and I wrestled when I was in high school so it's a WRAP!

Hands down Mirko Cro Cop and Lil Evil Jens Pulver. I was a big K-1 fan before I got into MMA, and when I watched Cro Cop knock the snot out of Remy it was love at first sight. I know Mirko is in the decline of his career, but hell he started fighting in K-1 at I think 21-22. And was an amateur boxer before that!

And as far as Jens goes, I've met the dude and watched his fights. One of the most likeable people I've met, and he has one helluva left hand. Naturally myself being unorthodox, I tend to like south paws more.

Favorite martial art, of course Thai boxing. I love watching SLAMM! and K-1.

I'm happy to see MMA as a sport really growing, and living in Las Vegas and training I get to see the sports future. I wish MMA was more popular, gyms would have deeper talent levels that way. But for now I think if anyone wants to be an accomplished MMA fighter, you need to go to specific martial arts gyms for now. MMA gyms have watered down techniques.
