Well, this might be the first time I've ever posted in this part of the forum in my 10 years here. There's a first time for everything, I guess.
So, as the thread name says, does anyone know what kind of good video editing software is out there? Doing a simple search, I've seen a bunch of different programs, and the prices vary so much I wonder what makes them so different. And it doesn't have to be hardcore with all the features and things it can do. I figure the really cheap ones probably won't be enough to do what I want to do, but the super expensive ones are just too much. I'd prefer to lean toward the cheap side, just because I don't have a ton of money to just throw around on a side project, and I'm cheap anyways. But I don't necessarily know what features are really helpful to ones that aren't, etc. Basically, if I can take a video and maybe superimpose something on top of it. Maybe even make minor edits to the raw video too. For what I'm thinking, that might be good enough.
Let me know what software would be good for such things. Thanks in advance!
