Website Help!

Hey, i wasnt real sure where to put this post, but this seems like just as good a spot as any. I'm looking to create a fansite. But i have one problem, its gotta be free. Eventually, i will most likely be willing to pay for hosting but right now its gotta be free. I've had accounts suck as Bravenet.com however i dont like the constricting templates. I also would appreciate tips on how to make a website, as this would be my first one.
Any advice would be great! thanks!

well....learning HTML code would be a great start. I'm qualified in html code, but i cant be bothered using it

I would say get a Geocities account. They're probably the best for free websites.
