around 100 years after Fallout 3,
so if you destroyed Megaton in the game it has had time to be re-built, but we will be Rping as though it wasn't destroyed.

In a world that has become a Nuclear wasteland survivors roam the earth, searching through cities and buildings that have become destroyed by the earths current situation. the planet is suffering from starvation and disease, along with radiation poisoning, there are only a few settlements that can be classed as cities, one of these is Megaton.

this is where our story begins, you are a settler in the city of Megaton trying to survive. venturing out into the wastelands to salvage food, materials and medical supplies, doing any jobs for caps. the sheriff and Mayor of the city are one in the same, a man by the name of Craig Simms. your life and your story are influenced by every decision you make.

if you kill a person people will resent you. and if you are kind and helpful then people will like you, this is down to a thing called Karma, with good karma people will respond well to you, with bad people will attack you and hate you, if your karma is neutral then people will be indifferent to you.

this is a completely open RP, you can search the earth, and interact with the other Rpers at your own will, you may have a house in Megaton if you wish, or you may stay in the taverns if you wish. each character will have an individual skill set, and their behavior will show this.

Appearance: An ordinary yet pretty looking girl. Her long brown hair reaches down half of her 5' 4" height. Her slim figure and pale skin make her look almost angelic. Her deep blue eyes hide great sorrow in their depths.

Personality: This young fire-cracker will do anything to help the ones she is entrusted to care for. She sees the light side of any situation and can sometimes be over-zealous

History: Her family died when she was only 14, at the time she only managed to survive thanks to mikhael, now 7 years on she has trained herself up to protect and help others around her. (hope this is ok im kind of un-inspired, if you can think of anything dont hesitate to offer ideas :) )

Skills: Sharpshooting and street-fighting, practises parkour too

Appearance: His shoulder length brown hair frames his face perfectly. He has a strong look about him that can seem intimidating at first. at 6' 1" he positively towers over Mana. and his eyes are grey yet shining at the same time

Personality: Cold and stern at first impression, he actually has a heart of gold and is very loyal to his friends. He is the calming influence to manas zealous nature

History: He knew Mana from the age of 6 and they were close friends up until her parents died, Despite his families wishes he ran away from home and took mana with him to a safer place where he could protect her from any harm. Soon their friendship turned into love and they have been together for 4 years now

Nice Bio's yuki, Granted im not to sure on the rapier, yes there are melee weapons, but i aint never seen anyone take down a super-mutant with a melee weapon, so good luck.

Profession: Scavenger / Mercenary
Skills: Small weapons, Lock picking and Repairing
Weapon preference: 10mm Handgun (with variable rounds)
Appearance: Stephen stands at 6 feet 4 inches tall, his athletic build is impressive, weighting 245 pounds. he holsters his trusty 10mm handgun on his right thigh, he wears light armour, made from leather, and wears no helmet, his hair is a dirty blond colour and his eyes are silver in colour that almost glow, due to life radiation exposure over long periods of time.

Personality: Stephen is cold and cut off, he slender makes friends and prefers to be alone all of the time, like a lone wolf. whenever he is in the town of Megaton he spends his time in his home alone. Stephen doesn't believe all lives are equal, instead he believes his life is more important than any others, and will kill on a whim.

History: Stephen was born in Vault 101, and stayed there until he took the G.O.A.T at 16, the day after which he stole his fathers handgun and left. he made his way to Megaton and began working for a local pub owner in order to pay for food and a place to stay, in a mere 3 years Stephen had earned enough Caps to buy his own home, and moved in, getting himself a workbench he began working on ways to improve his Handgun, he figured it was better to make new ammo than alter his gun in any way.

he began creating all kinds of different ammo so he could be more effective in the wastes, in only one year he has accumulated hundreds of bullets of many different kinds which he stores in his home, he travels out in the wastes for most of the day, only returning to Megaton for rest or to collect more ammo.

in his present day life, he has began to accept quests from people around Megaton, as long as the Caps are good and the company is non-Existant.

Apologies about the Gundam thing. I just can't get into it.... not a fan of it, I suppose. However, I did enjoy this game, and I'll play it again with you.

Gender: It's kinda obvious i'm a guy. If you think otherwise, please come aside with me so I can explain to you in detail with this pocket knife.
Birthplace: I don't know, and I don't care to know. Now leave me alone before I toss you out of this tavern.
Profession: Assassin, Mercenary, Bodyguard, co-owner of Stars Tavern. Unless you have business, get out of my tavern. (never said we couldn't own the tavern! I live in it, and I also own it!)

(Yes I know it's Jericho. I'm too lazy to actually come up with a description, and Jericho suits my character nicely.)
Personality: (Third person time!) Orion is cold, and doesn't really care much for human life. He doesn't enjoy killing, but will do it if he deems it necessary; his lack of compassion makes it so it doesn't bother him either way. He's fanatically loyal to anyone that hires his services, unless they don't pay him, and will always complete a job. If he doesn't get paid, then blood will be shed to exact his pay, in blood or money. Still, whenever he actually takes the time to sit down and have a drink in between jobs, he opens up a little, and many of his drinking buddies are his friends.
History: The first ten years of Orion's life are all speculation. There are many rumors, and whether or not they're true, cannot be confirmed. Orion doesn't talk much about it, so it will probably remain unknown.

What is known is when he first appeared in Megaton, a gang of bandits was attacking. After stabbing the throat of one and taking his weapon, an energy pistol, he proceeded to blast off the heads of the other bandits. When the dust of the battle cleared, he was left with a half-charged pistol, a bloody knife, and whatever the hell he could claim from the dead bodies. Taking everything, he sold most of it except an energy rifle and some ammo, and proceeded to use that money to buy and start to renovate the old tavern. Someone else bought in (to be named later when I bother to think of it) and helped to renovate, so Orion could take time away.

At the age of 15, he left Megaton, only to return in a year's time with a large bag of caps, and a second large bag filled with weaponry and ammo. It was around this point that the Stars tavern began selling ammo and weapons as well as drinks. Orion used some of his caps to help renovate the place, and the rest was handed over to the co-owner to help out with paying the bills and to earn more caps. So his life continued for a number of years, living in the tavern and doing odd jobs, until he turned 20.

nice Bio there shadow, i have no problem with you using Jericho as your appearence, i was thinking about it, but he wasn't big enough (muscle wise) for me, so i just threw in a lil description.

if you wish you could ask another character to be the co-owner of stars tavern, maybe have a member of the forums who hasn't signed up to this RP yet if they would want to join and co-own it with you, just an idea though.

Eh, I'll probably do that. Though I don't think anyone wants to be burdened down by staying at home all the time... Ah well.

How many more till we start? And do we get to fight the Enclave and Brotherhood of Steel?
 
well im glad that you took the time to read and approve my characters but you should look carefully at my girls weapon there is a link to a picture of a handgun called a "rapier" taken from baz luhrmans romeo and juliet. cant wait for this to start. incidentally i know handguns arent that powerful to kill mutants but it serves its purpose to keep them at bay long enough for "guardian" my guy to kill them with his sniper rifle.
 
hey its ok -hugs- i cant stay mad at a cool rp-er like you. so unconnected any other ideas on rps you are likely to start?
 
I aint got anymore ideas for RP's, this one just kinda leapt on me whilst i was playing Fallout 3, i was just like "this would make a fairly awesome RP" haha, I'll wait for one or two more sign-ups before i get the RP underway.
