Can someone plz give me some good strategy I have zombie ward armor but his lance of atrophy still infects me.

your best bet is auto remedy. get rikku to customise it as soon as you can so when he full cures it cures you. put all your aeons on overdrive. he kills them anyway but you can get of at least one overdrive! just make sure your hp is not under 3000 and keep pummeling him. try to get all your other guys in overdrive too so you can take more attack points. if you have the expert sphere grid or any black magic spheres, get yuna to learn them because she is the best magic caster.

Get all of your Aeons overdrives up and unleash them one after the other, and if that doesn't work, Pray to yevon to smite him

Firstly, learn his attack pattern. You'll find that he uses Cross-Cleave every three turns. Knowing this, you can half the damage by defending. He'll use Dispel every 4th turn after Cross-Cleave. Lance Of Atrophy isn't that bad - Zombie Ward should half the chances of being inflicted by Zombie. If you've learned Hastega, by all means, use it; with Haste, you should get a turn before Mortiochis casts Full-Life from which you cure yourself. Try to obtain some Lunar Curtains or use the spell, Shell. This halves damage dealt from his Total Annihilation. Bio also works wonders, dealing 2000 damage each turn.

The obove method works without the use of Aeons, (I didn't bother with them during the storyline section of the game) so with them, it should be even easier. If you still have problems, mix Dark Matter with a Lv 1 Key Sphere. The former can be obtained though Blitzball, the latter from a variety of enemies. This creates the Overdrive: Supernova. This deals high damage. Kimahri's Mighty Guard helps as well.....assuming you learnt it from Biran/Yenke Ronso.

I'll echo Gab's words. Knowing Flux's attacks is absolutely critical, and it's good for you that he does indeed follow a pattern. I would open the battle with Bio, so that the poison works its magic through the entire battle. Keep your character in Haste as best you can (Hasteaga will make this a lot easier), so to prevent the LoA/Full-Life combo. He also gives a warning (charge-up of some sort, I forget the exact name) before he performs Total Annihilation, so that you can prepare for the attack.

Flux takes some careful preparation to beat, and requires a good knowledge of his behaviors. Follow what we said regarding his attack patterns and you should be ready for anything.

My advise is to get some Hp drinks or whatever there called since I haven't really played FFX in a while. They double a charcters Hp making it far more likely they will survive attacks. I think you steal them from Chimera Brains in the calms lands.

Can anyone help me with the name of these items as it is failing to come to me today.

Or you could just increase Bahamut's strength. Just keep using all your strength spheres on him and soon he should be doing enough to kill Seymour, or just damage him enough that you can finish him off without much difficulty

Bio + Haste + Alread Charged Aeon overdrives (since he kills them in one shot) = Ass Kicked Seymour :P

ya...he gave me a bunch of troubles as well.....but as was mentioned before just get ur over-drives u before hand...this has also helped me many times with other boss battles....if i recall i did this for the ultima buster as well

It's kinda strange because I've never wasted more than 30 seconds defeating him...ther's one word for your problem...Train Train Train. He is easy, have the Atack Reels (Wakka's Overdrive) and use it (half of life should be taken or more. Here almost killed him with one shot). Then use a Tidus Overdrive and he is down ;D

Good Luck and Cya**

Same here, I never seemed to have a problem with Seymour Flux. I just went all out offensive and he never got to use his deadly attacks on me more than once. I would say the best thing to do is train and make sure you have all full overdrives on your best characters.

Then you're overpowered. If you just go through the game with a little training here and there - like its intended, then he's a difficult boss. This assumption is based on Flux compared to other bosses around that part of the game, and Flux is comparatively more difficult than the rest.
