my fav is the fight of ultima with the beautiful great crystal and the constant status effects from hp drain to mp drain to no magicks to no attacks , no techniques

It was really a challenge and i look forward to fighting zodiark
 
Hmmm, I can't remember if I fought Zodiark -- must be a sign that no, I actually didn't. Wow, I haven't played this game in awhile.. I liked the fight against Ultima, too. It was a great challenge, but easy to complete with the right equipment/items. I remember my characters frequently had low hp/were swapped out because they were died, but I beat her on the first try. She was definitely harder to beat than Vayne.
 
^ Yeah, Ultima is really hard -- and this is coming from someone who over-leveled up before fighting her! I think that was my saving grace -- fighting her at a level that was higher than what was recommended.

I remember fighting Ultima, and the constantly changing of, no items, then mp, then hp, then magic. But Zodiark was the hardest and longest to fight. Even though I fought him at an incredibly hight level, and used items that absorbed his attacks, I still just barely managed to defeat him o_O It was really fun though ^-^ And his final quickening looks awesome ^_^
 
Favorite Esper fight is probably the Exodus one or the Ultima one.

Exodus was great because I think it was the first Esper I really found a challenge. Fighting a past boss from Legendary past FF games (FFV) and the battle itself was awesome with Exodus scathing the shit out of your party when ever you felt you had him on the ropes.

Ultima was awesome as well due to the journey to her in the Great Crystal. It was crazy battling through arguably one of the most challenging areas of FFXII just to get to her and see her in her Shining presence atop the Great Crystal. With having to equip light absorbing equipment on your characters so she didn't ass-rape your entire party, you had to strategize how to counter her some-what tricky patterns of attacks. I think she was also the Esper who's vulnerablitily changed every 20 seconds or so, so you had to plan accordingly.
 
I guess it was the fight with Ultima, and it was the last 1 i fought too, it was hard since i didnt really knew i was going fight it lol was first time that i really had to spam quicks as soon i could.
 
The fight with ultima was the most difficult so i say ultima esper is my fav fight.
 
I found Ultima was my favourite esper. The constant changing of status effects made for a fun and interesting battle.
 
Adrammelech! because of how he keeps bringing up the undead to kill you and how cool it looks to see his giant outline coming out of a sand cloud. The first time I entered the Athroza Quicksands he scared the piss out of me. He was my favorite summon for killing Vayne in all 3 of his crappy forms. Plus his Thundaja attack looks real cool :D
Any Esper fight is great to me because of the cool music that plays as you fight.
 
Ultima hands down. Inside that beautiful crystal and she was just so heavenly. I also liked battling adramalech just cause of the chain combo i got with the zombies that keep popping up. Cuchulainn was a hard battle i mean with the constant hp sap and him reversing mp and hp it was kinda hard to stay alive no to mention the jelly that keep dropping in

Zalera was kinda fun the time limit added a sense of urgency that the others didn't really have

I liked famfrit mostly because it was kind of two bosses in one with cid there

My fav esper fight is when u fight cid and he summons the esper i dont know the name of the esper but its a really cool fight :p
