We all have something special about us. I have a small psychic ability passed down through my family that lets me on occasion see certain things from the future and other stuff I cant explain clearly. Im also good at coming up with story plotlines and writing songs.

So what's you're special talent/talents?

Special Talent? Hm, my talent comes out of a Keyboard or Piano, though it's too bad, I can't really play with both hands at the same time...just the melody (right hand part).

I've been playing for many years, I play the same songs, my favourite ones, several times in a row usually, though I would say I can play nearly 200 different songs, a good chunk of them are from video games, from Super Mario Bros. to Final Fantasy, to Phantom Brave. <.<

Hmmm special talent? Ummm I suppose it would be drawing? I've always been able to draw since I was very young and it's always been one of biggest passions in life. It's a great way for me to relieve stress or draw what I'm feeling is a great way for me to express myself. I like to express the way I feel about things through art. So yeah, drawing and art I guess.

A special talent, huh? I guess I'd have to say... story telling and languages. I have written numerous stories in the past two years, and apperntly they have capptivated my friends, and readers online. I really want to be an author, so this really comes in handy. Also, I have a natural gift for picking up languages almost immediatly. At the moment, I am learning 3. German, French, and Japanese. I used to study Italian, but I moved to another state, and that class wasn't available...
Unfortunatly, I don't have a talent for spelling, lol.

I wouldn't really classify what I'm able to do as 'special talent' but I guess it's close enough. Main thing is 'creativity' for me and I have the ability to pick up something new and turn into my own style and finding new ways of expressing things, showing new images of different ways of viewing and perceiving things.

But anyway, I'll list some of the things I have talent at:

Drawing / Painting (using different mediums) - I've been at it since I was in kindergarten. I admit I haven't picked up a pencil or paintbrush for over a year now, but today I got a paintbrush set as a late birthday gift from sis-in-law so I'm inspired to start a piece again.

I am also able to draw landscape sceneries on the computer. I was using a site called artpad or something, where it lets you record how you do your work and I had a great time doing it. I got to be so good at it that I can paint Thomas Kinkade paintings for a few hours and make it look very similar to his style. Painting / Drawing using a mouse is no easy task.

Singing - I love karaoke. A lot of people say I have a knack for this since I can do both low and high notes and actually carry a tune without hurting people's ears. xD I've dreamt about being a singer when I was younger but that was me dreaming.

Playing piano / keyboard - I learn really quickly when it comes to playing the piano. I have a tendancy to listen to music and incorporating the tune on the keyboard without reading any notes. I took a class early this year and was at the top of my class, to the point that my teacher was suggesting me to other students that required help. =X I can read notes now too without looking at the keyboard as I play, but it takes a few days of practice.

GFX - Started it over a year ago and I've produced many signatures that I quite like. I'm hoping to expand my horizons with this subject someday and do more than just signatures. I'm fairly good at what I do I think, but it takes a lot of time and patience. I do enjoy GFX though, that's for sure.

Writing poems / stories - With stories, I've only attempted that a few times but I actually enjoyed doing it and was quite pleased with the outcome. I was 15 back then, but my computer crashed and unfornutately, my work was lost. Only got to Chapter 4, but I had a few people read it and they emphasized my eye for details. As for poems, that's also something I started back in freshman high school. I've written maybe close to 30 poems and have a book where I keep my poem entries. Even to this day I still write poems every now and then. My latest one was 'Hallow Night' which won POTM here last month. xD

And that's pretty much it I think. :hmmm: I'm still learning a few things here and there, particular with the GFX side of things. I'm really hoping to teach myself how to design websites in the future.

Hmm, my special talent would have to be a fairly crazy psychic ability, whether it be in dreams or just thoughts in my head i'll see the future, though it could be a few minutes ahead, a day, a week even entire years which is when I remember it before. As well as that I think i've seen ghosts before from far off distances, like kids i've never seen before and only vaguely see, kinda crazy stuff :gonk:

My special talent, and this is VERY true, is that I can silence someone just with a stare. It has been done many times over my life. People say that my icy stare turns off their will to talk or something. People that dont know me dont even want to come near me when I look at them. Its kinda hard to realize that I am staring coldly when I want to look welcoming -__-

My English teacher is usually very fond of my work, so I guess you could say writing is my forte. Spelling has been one of the things that always came naturally to me. I've always been interested in literature and art, but since I've never been good at drawing, painting or anything really, I've leaned more towards literature.

I'm also apparently good at consoling people. I've had people come to me so I could just listen to what they had to say. I love hearing about someone's day, as cheesy as that may sound. I've been called the mom of a group of friends and told that I should have 18 kids someday because of this.

I used to work in a couple of cocktail bars.
So,
My talent =
Bottle Flairing
Comments = It was great fun, I was sent on a course by work. We learned the basics and then the people that 'excelled' went onto to do advance (Me and some mates in other words). Juggling bottle is NOT easy. Especially trying to catch a martini glass on your elbow (which i can do now by the way!).

It really helps me find work in different bars, So my talent is very beneficial to me.

I can sing in a ridiculously high-pitched baby voice. I don't think it's much of a talent (maybe it fits in the special category), friends have recorded it and used it as their ringing tones... Now, I'm not sure if that's a good thing. :rage:

As for talents, maybe dancing. Street jazz, hip-hop, cheer dance and a bit of salsa. I've been dancing since I learned to stand up, I've been told... It's something I enjoy, and something I'm comfortable enough to call a talent. And, that's pretty much it. :gonk:

I can burp out the odd short sentence...

I'm alright at painting as well, pop art for the most part, and I think I'm getting quite good at it actually considering Im still fairly new to it :hmmm:

I can recite the alphabet backwards...well, I could, Ive not tried for AGES and Im too hungover to sit here trying ._.

Erm, I htink that's my lot

Ohhhhhh I can smell a bargain a mile off, practically every thing I own cothes and shoes wise was got on sale or some form of offer, I never ever buy anything full price, I delve into the sales. I found leather pants in TKMaxx for 12 quid 8F

I can calm people down easily. Alot of the people I hang out with have some issues or feel angry, so I have had a chance to work on that.

That might be the reason why I am always feeling bad around drama.:gonk:

I have several things I would consider a special talent. Firstly, I am very passionate when it comes to literature. Though poems are not my preferred form of literature, I am always very ambitious when it comes to writing short stories. My English teachers dating back to when I was five would comment on how sophisticated and vivid my imagination would be.

I was a child prodigy when it came to English. I would be able to recite the spellings of long words without trouble, and my vocabulary was surprisingly large for a child of my age then. I think I still have that ability now. I'm still writing in my spare time.

I also receive numerous feelings of deja vu- despite not really remembering when I encountered the experience before. For example, I saw three buses numbered "14" passing me a week ago with the same "Twilight Saga New Moon" advertisement on them. For some reason, it felt like I have seen this sight before. I suppose I saw it in my dreams- where occasionally I can glimpse into small, trivial things in the future.

I guess people dumbing me rofl!

Nah seriously I guess its writing. I adore writing, but its a pain when loads of ideas come flying at you and I can never finish a story as anothe idea suddnely pops up.

And I get deja-vu alot. Pisses me off soooooooooooo much :|

Personally, I have no Psychic abilities, but I was trained by an Olympic Fencer until I moved to Texas, and I was near the top of his class (Note that I was 9 at the time) and have practiced on my own time in my spare time, though not with anyone- just the technique and movements.

I am also one of the more Charismatic and (hate to sound boastful) Intelligent people at my school (Either I'm really smart or just surrounded by idiots) and can usually figure people out by appearance and other traits when I meet them.

Like a previous poster, I'm gifted with languages (or I would like to say). I'm known to pick them up quite quickly, albeit not to an amazing level but I can understand the basics quite quickly. I used to think I was talented at art but I don't have the patience for it, at all. I enjoy it, I probably do have an inkling of talent somewhere, but as I say, no patience.

Um, just putting it out there, but you dont have to be "psychic" to have a special talent. One of my talents is really unexplainable so it helps to be amazingly good at other things. kay! let it roll on!

My talent would probably be my creativity. I'm quite good at making up stories, imagining things, drawing, and roleplaying (I used to do a lot of table top roleplaying until recently). I also enjoy to write some poetry or stories, but I think some more practice will make me better in that department.

Also, I'm quite good at trivia, I know a lot of useless stuff.

I don't think I am a beautiful and unique snowflake to be quite honest. I can not list a single talent anymore. I use to have quite a bit of physical abilities but through quite a bit of sports injuries, my ability to pitch in baseball is gone (rotater cup torn in 1997) and I also can't sprint anymore for long periods of time (Knee Injury in 07).

So I don't have much to show as far as talents. Everything else I would say is normal. I'm a medium skeptic, and running my first 1/2 marathon in December, but that's nothing special in my opinion.
