Whats your opinion on free running?

I was just wondering what your opinion on free running was because earlier tonight i was walking home from school when I saw these two guys "FREE RUNNING" and they were caught further down the road by a couple of Police officers.

Do you think it should be legalised as long as no damage is caused by doing it?:huh:
 
im not realy into anything that has the word running in it >> altho i must admit watching other people and hoping they fall over the
suspense if fun
 
We're talking parkour, yes? That's some damn good stuff that those guys can do, very fucking agile.
I'd like to give it a try, but I don't really have the stamina for it and Carlisle isn't really all that great for it. =/
 
I think it's great but I know if I attempted anything so much as jumping of a kerb Id end up with broken bones

As long asthey are not hurting anyone else, leave 'em to it
 
Me and my friends did it once when we were really drunk. It's actually great fun and really silly. I attempted a giant leap off a big recycle jumpster thing and my mobile phone tore right through the pocket of my outstretched leg and tore a massive hole in my jeans.

It's not really hurting anyone just I'm sure some people do it to let off steam or something.
 
Damage can be caused from it though. Cars get damaged, as does public property at times. I suppose it could be seen as "disturbing the peace" or something. >>
 
I guess id have something to say if people suddenly started jumping off my house and on my car o_O
 
If they it didn't damage property or somehow *yeah right* got word of an ok before hand it would be fine with me. But only if my shit wasn't messed up. Lulz I would help with putting random objects outside my house just for the fun of it though :P
 
I saw this a lot when I lived in New York and I didn't like it at all. A lot of them just don't respect others when doing it, and are kind of reckless. Though that might be because I've never seen anyone do it very well, just people try it without knowing how to do it.

What the...

There's videos of people with low levels of common sense jumping off houses and running up walls. Whoa, some of this stuff is actually pretty awesome.

If that's "free running," that is.
 
I used to do some myself. I wasn't too bad, but I cannot do these 'Crazy ass Assassin's Creed style' free running.

And Parkour is different than Free Running. Free Running consists mainly of Jumps. Parkour is jumping, vaulting over bars, rails and fences. It has more 'Style'.
 
Free running is awesome, thinking of starting myself, but I got to find some more people, dont wanna look like an idiot by myself :D
