Whenever i replay a Final fantasy game, it doesnt matter which one it is.
I always find myself quitting before the final boss. Before heading into the North crater in FF VII for example, or ultimecia's castle in FFVIII. Il usually just mess about doin the sidequests or whatever until i get bored and put the disk ' back on the shelf ' i think i stop playing becuse i kno there's not really any storyline left besides the ending.

Anybody do the same?

i tend never to complete a game in the first place, let alone again!
i am a pretty big pushover when it comes to persistence in games. I dont think i have ever completed a rpg. I know, its crazy.

it depends on what game, how long it takes to beat, and if i have time... i've replayed kingdom hearts 2 like 10 times and yet i can't not finnish it, i have to beat it every time or i freak out if there's one saved game that i didn't finnish

I like finishing games, but I stopped with FF3 DS, it was getting tedious to train the whole time, right before the Dark World ._.

I'm just trying to finish FF4, 'cause I really like it xD

I've started replaying CHocobo tales, getting close to the End.
That's good with Minigame-Games, it stays fun for ever^^

I do have a very bad habit of doing th exact same thing, I have played FFVII so many times, but once I have started training for like the weapons, I play it less and less then I just stop[ and think I KNOW! i'l start FFVII again ¬_¬

I am actually replaying it atm, I'm determined to complete it again though, Ive been on abit of a roll recently and everything I have replayed I have completed as well as managing to do most if not all of the optional shizz

Actually, every FF I've gotten I've completed fully (done all sidequests, beaten all bosses, etc.) but I plan on replaying some of them (namely FFVII and FFXII). I just have this habit that no matter what game I get I have to complete 100%. Dunno why, but I just feel more satisfied when I finally beat the final boss.

if i replay a FInal Fantasy game, it depends.
in FF3 i played through it once and beat the game, and the story got stale for me, i would end up playing through to the end just to stop before the final battle.

where as in FF7+8 i play the whole way through and try to get any and everything i may have missed; this goes for FFX as well.

so it depends on if the game has a good replay value or if it is a generic story line, and if i was excited at any time during the previous playthrough.

I find the battle mechanics are the big thing that stops me replaying, and for that reason I just can't stomach seeing X-2 or IX again.

Please bear in mind that the original post is asking if you COMPLETE the game when you replay it, thank you

Yea, I always complete my games. With the exception of Final Fantasy II, there hasn't been a game I've ever played and not completed. Even with replays, I play the whole thing through or I don't pick up the game.

It depends on how much I like it and the story.

Put more effort in your posts please

Sometimes, And it really depends on the storyline. I've replayed FFT a good 25+ Times and only re-beat it about Five times. So a majority of the time I don't the games I replay.

Whenever I replay a FF game on a new file, I end up always completing the game no matter what. I just have a habit of doing that with any game I have except for a few including FFXII since I have no motivation to play the game at the moment.

i normally try to beat a game really fast the first time
then i replay it again to get a 100% on every rpg i have

On the first play-through, usually always. I may get side-tracked or super pissed off for a while and then come back and beat it once I blow off steam or so, but I can't be left hanging there without the rest of the story lodged into my brain.

However, when I try to play an FF game the second time around, I've never finished it. I'll go all gung-ho and log about 5 or 6 hours into it the first night, and then I end up getting bored with it since I know the end already, and I ultimately delete my game save. It's not as good as the first time through.

I do the exact same thing, once i play a game once again i usually do not fight the final boss because i personally feel there is no need, but it all depends on if i want to beat up the final boss or what not.

If its a relally long game I nver start over just go backa play a few different parts I liked
If its a relativly short game, or medium length, yeah I typically do

No.

Everytime I replay a game, I make it my goal to complete it in full. Including final boss, all optional bosses and all sidequests. Usually in my first playthrough, I don't do the op bosses or sidequests. But yeah, I don't cut it off before the final boss. I'll finish it eventually.

it's rare

but it greatly depends on how much i enjoyed the game

even then, sometimes it's just less trouble to watch the scene on youtube
