hehe u'd prob guess where i wud live :) and well ya i would live in guadosalam as it is colourful and fulla cutie guados! also I would live in luca as it is nice, has a blitz arena as well and check out the cutie blitz players getting wet hehe!

Well if were talking exclusively about FFX then l'd pitch a tent in the Zanarkand Ruins!
or buy the Blitzball Cafe in luca. outside of spira ,y bestest place is Esthar,,,,,,they can hide there city for cryin out loud! lm not much for holiday destinations so Balamb or Costa delsol are out l like airships so Lindblum is possible

I would live in Cosmo Canyon, seeing as it is the best place to run free and have more than enough room to let loose all of your pent-up hate and anger that you received from the world.

Wow, toughie. I love Fishermans Horizon because its such an amazing city. But also Balamb is so lovely. I would hopefully attend Balamb Garden and become a SeeD or instructor.

If its just FFX Id definately live in Besaid but in the whole of FF I have absolutely no idea.

Lucas a nice city too :hmmm: but Id go with besaid for the cameraderie there. Kilikas like a middle ground between the two...

I've thought about this before. I'd definitely say Kilika. The whole town is basically one big boardwalk with beautiful palm trees and crystal blue water. I would give anything to live in a place like that. Even though it does get destroyed at one point, I don't think I'd mind helping rebuild it.

DEFINITELY Costa del Sol. What a life that would be. Beaches, cocktails, ladies... :3 I'm surprised nobody else has said it yet.
Agreed. Costal Del Sol is my personal fav place in all of the FFs well, Costa and Kilika in X.

I love both places because of the tropical feel they have. Costa is a summer-y resort with a great ocean view. And Kilika is a great summer-y island with these cool houses floating on water surrounded by beautiful palm trees. I just love the idea of it.

Yea, so I'd live in Kilika or Costa Del Sol. Two coolest places of them all.

I think I'd definitely live in Bhujerba. That may be my all-time favorite location in FF. I absolutely love the idea of a floating city and I spent a great deal of time wandering around. The architecture was really nice and the view from the bridges was epic. :ryan:

Either Bhujerba (FFXII) or Lindblum (FFIX) for me.

Lindblum is my favourite location in FFIX. The place looks enclosed and safe from the Mist and monsters outside - so as a citizen, I'm sure you can be perfectly safe. It's a huge place as well - great to explore and take in the sights of the numerous turrets, the tram carts and the airships coming to and fro. Out of all the cities in FFIX - Lindblum actually feels alive. It feels like a city the most and it's the most technologically advanced kingdom, which is bound to be a source of great wonder.

Bhujerba as Tia said, is special in that it's in the sky. How amazing would it be to be gazing down at the clouds as airships pass below you? Well, unless you're easily airsick or scared of heights of course. The place looks astonishingly pretty, from the Turkish/Indian-like architecture to the Magicite pillar-things near Ondore's estate. Furthermore, there are a lot of Moogles around. I love the little guys! :jess:

If I had to pick I'd choose these:

FFIV: either Toroia, Agart or the Land of the Summoned Monsters. Toroia has beautiful forests and lakes, and everyone has empathy for nature there, so I'd probably get along with everyone really well. Agart is a small, quiet town, but it's got the world's biggest astronomical observatory, and it's near the entrance to the Dwarven Underground if I ever wanted to visit there. And the Land of the Summoned Monsters is nice and secluded, and the way to it is protected by pools of dangerous liquid, which would deter intruders I imagine. I'm not sure whether the citizens would accept a non-summoner living there, however it'd be fun to live alongside Eidolons so it would be cool if they did. And, all three of these places have awesome music too, so I wouldn't mind listening to it everyday :D

FFVI: Probably Mt. Koltz or one of the caves, like the Veldt cave or the one near Thamasa. Most of the cities in this world are a little too similar to each other and seem a little crowded (even though I do like steampunk), so I think I'd prefer someplace scenic and more secluded.

FFVII: Wutai. I love the atmosphere and I think Da Chao would be a nice place to go to meditate.

FFIX: Daguerreo. It's filled with books and I love how water is channeled throughout the city. And it's fairly isolated from the rest of the world, which would ideally make it relatively peaceful.

FFX: Remiem Temple. I know it's just a ruin, but I love how it's structured and it'd be fun to find some way to live there, it's really scenic and its isolation would make it relatively safe I think.

FFXII: Eruyt Village. It's probably one of the most beautiful locations I've seen in FF, I love the quiet forest atmosphere and the ornate woodwork. And like the places I mentioned in IV, the music is fantastic :)

I would have to say Trabia Garden (FFVIII). Always wanted to be a merc and fight with actual weapons that require skill. That and I love the cold and snow. Which is why I'm not really for Balamb Garden.

A bit irrelevant to the topic - but I think invasion from a hostile country using magical weapons isn't really going to happen every day - nor is it that important here.

I'll probably add Nautilus (from FFXIII) to the list as well. I don't want to enter the realms of spoilers here as many people probably haven't played through that part in FFXIII. Nevertheless, let me say that Nautilus is just the most beautiful and lively place I've seen in the game with potentially endless things to see and experience. I would live in the close vicinities of Nautilus, perhaps not in the middle of the location itself.

Out of the whole FF in all id have to say...Edea's Orphanage. I think its pretty much as perfect as perfect could get for me.I wouldnt be able to survive without the ocean nearby at this point in my life and the woods are close by so id be able to be all naturey to. I think thats my perfect setting oe place to live.

One of the Gardens, preferably Balamb from FFVIII would be really great. I love the main concourse there, and it just looks like a really cool place to live. The climate there looks really reasonable too, I hate hot weather.

I like Cosmo Canyon too. It is nice and quiet, and out of the way, and there is a lot to learn there.

Oooh, I love Ivalice. So broad and colourful. I can't pick a specific place, I'd rather be a traveller or something. Although there are a few places, like the Eruyit Village, Salikawood, Palamina (?) Rift, Rabanastre but most of all - there is a teeny weeny village somewhere in Dalmasca Eastersand (or was is west..?) you know, the one that you rescue from the cactuar things. I love the atmosphere there, it is timeless. So, out of Ivalice, that would be my favourite spot and my 'real' home.

i would have to go with besaid from ffx.. t would be a really peacful place to live and it is by the sea :) i like places by the sea

and because yuna lives there :P

Oh, yea, and I'd live in Icicle Inn too! That place is gorgeous!! I love how it's a winder wonderland! The cute small town is a perfect getaway.

Plus, think of how pretty it'd be to see the night sky up at an ice cap like that. C:

Are ya sure? 'Cause that's definitely what happens to poor Lindblum.
I think the way that you mentioned being 'perfectly safe' in that place sort of begged for that instance to be brought up. Like, the place gets annhilated..
There are quite a few dangerous spots in that game though.. I think the Cleyran's had a pretty sweet little village up in that giant tree.. Too bad..
