Which FF games "haven't" you played?

I didn't see this anywhere so apologizes if I missed it.

We have what games you have played and such but what games haven't you played?

Okay for me I still haven't played III, IV, any of the DS releases, any of the PSP releases and of course XIV (Not sure how much that counts all things considering). Oh also I never played Tactics either, mainly due to some mixed feedback on that game. I really want to find me IV though, I hear good things.
 
I have owned every single game there was but I ended up selling them.

This does not mean I played every single one though. >.<

I'll only list the main ones.

I have not played:

I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, XI.

I have not finished:

VIII, IX, X-2, XII, XIII.

I am slack.
 
I am only including the main series titles.
Below are as of October 2010

I haven't played:
I, II, III, IV, V, X, X-2, XI, XIII, XIV

I have played and beaten:
VIII, IX, XII

I am still playing:
VI, VII

I am dying to play:
X, XIII

I am planning to play:
I, II, III, IV, V, X, X-2, XIII

I probably will never ever want to play:
XI, XIV

Reasons why I haven't played:
I-V: I previously misunderstimated these classic titles. After playing some VI, I realised that graphics are not a very important deciding factor for a good game. But now I am planning to play them.
X, X-2: My PS2 is not in my current house. Also, it is extremely difficult to find and buy these games in my country.
XIII: My PS3 is broken beyond repair. My country has region-lock for xbox version of the game.
XI-XIV: because FF+MMORPG=fail IMO.
 
VIII (going to buy it on the PSN soon)
XI
XIII (have the disc but not the ps3 yet)
and XIV
 
II, IV, V, VI, X-2, XI, XII, XIII, and XIV, I haven't played.

II - The leveling system is too confusing for me.
IV, V, and VI - I haven't been interested in them.
X-2 - Maybe sometime later.
XI and XIV - I don't like MMORPGs.
XII - I haven't been interested in it.
XIII - I don't have a Xbox 360/PS3.
 
I've played a large majority of them. The ones I haven't touched (excluding spinoffs) are:
  • Final Fantasy XI
  • Final Fantasy XIV
So I've played all of the offline flagship FF titles so far. I feel like such a geek. :wacky:

I've no intentions of touching the listed games above though. I'm no MMO player, I don't quite trust SE with any form of monthly payments, my broadband isn't the best for them and both games put me off considerably.
 
I played all of them except for XIV and XI oh and some of the spinoff titles. FF XIV is kinda failing at the moment so I probably will not touch it. Things like the crystal chronicles series dont interest me..
 
Havent played IX, XI, XII, X-2, XIII and XIV.

I'm not a MMO player, so gues I will never play XI and XIV...I dont like paying fees for being able to play games...besides my laptop is not strong enough and my mobile internet connection is very unstable :(

I still have some of the earlier titles for Gameboy :)
But I'm really interested in playing XIII...just need a psx3 :(

FFI,FFII,FFIII,FFIV,FFV,FFVI
All the DS, PSP and other handheld titles or Wii for that matter..
FFXI, FFXIV

Havent finished:
FFVII
Got bored at beginning of disc 4

FFVIII
Couldnt defeat the end boss

FF12
Borrowed it, never purchased the game and my ps2 is not functioning anymore

FF Tactics
Loved the game! but I cant remember if I finished it or not, Played it on PS1

Finished:
FFIX
Loved Vivi but dont like Chibi in general..and with level 40 I finished the game..too easy end boss :ffs: I loved the fact you can fight with 4 team members at the same time though and the summons were amazing.

FFX
Perfection IMO it has all the great elements that could be in a FF title.

Liked it, didnt hate it like most people.
 
Not including spinoffs since I rarely buy them, the only main games of the series I haven't played are III, V, and XIV. I own V but I just haven't started it yet. As for games I've started but just haven't finished yet, that would include I, VI, X-2, and XIII. VI I am currently playing and after that I will either start V or finish XIII, leaning moreso towards V though.
 
I've played all main series games except XI, XIII and XIV.
XI and XIV because I'm not too keen on MMOs and XIII because I don't have a PS3 yet.
Oh, and although I've played most of them, I've only completed VII, IX, X and X-2.

Other than that there are a few spin-off's I haven't played, nothing major though.
 
Completed: IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XII, XIII, DoC.

Want to play: Crisis Core, Dissidia, Revenant Wings, I, II, III, Tactics.

Don't want to play: Crystal Chronicles, XI, XIV, anything else.
 
The only one I haven't played at all is II. But I hear so many bad things about it that I have no interest in doing so.

I never really finished XII because I found it to be so boring that I actually fell asleep a few times while playing. I just went and watched the ending on youtube.

Currently playing: X (about to reach Zanarkand now, so not much left, but I want to do a lot of monster hunting before the end)
Played a bit: VIII (will buy it soon for sure)
Haven't played yet but definitely want to: XII
Haven't played but will play sometime: I, II, III, spin-offs (not KH games though), X-2, XIII (don't have a PS3 of X360)
Not interested in: XI and XIV (for the same reasons as many mentioned already)
 
i tried XI, but it wasn't my cup of tea, so of the numbered series, that's all I haven't played, as well as everything outside the main series, I just never bothered - doubt I ever will now either. I've played some of FFTA, but it's just not for me, ive had WoTL since it came out and never played it. Hate the battle system
 
Out of the main series the only one I haven't played is 14. I can't keep track of all of the spin-off games anymore but I think I have played most of them. I can't think of any I have left unfinished because I hate leaving things unfinished so I play them through to the end even if I absolutely despise the game itself. I'm weird in that respect.

You have people telling you you're missing out by not playing IV too? That's what I've been told when I said I haven't played IV yet. Funny, before this site I never heard anybody talk about IV.

You're not really missing out on much with Crystal Chronicles to be honest. I mean I thought it was a fun game and all but it's certainly didn't have anything memorable to it IMO.
