I was just wondering how many people will buy this game when it gets released, personally, I will buy this game and not FFXIII because I've got a terrible feeling that the Battle System for FFXIII will be extremely similar to and possibly as lame as FFXII's...what about you guys?
 
After playing Final Fantasy XII, I'm skeptical. FFXII is one of the most boring games I've had the misfortune of playing. The battle-system isn't awful, but it isn't gripping.

I'll still probably get Final Fantasy XIII. I didn't love FFXII, but that won't trash my loyalty.

Oh! This is VERSUS XIII. Yeah, I'll get this game. It looks downright awesome. Also, it's being developed by the Kingdom Hearts team. Woo.
 
I thought this was a trick question, because this game looks to be the most darkest and intense game of the series. I think it will be amazing. The battle system being action based made me think a bit, but I'm sure it won't be mindless swordplay. FFXII was a big dissapointment, however SE is reallly pushing these games, so much effort and talent is being poured into development and it shows in the trailer. Yes, I will keep an open mind, but I'm definately, no question, going to buy this game.
 
I agree, FFXII was a huge dissapointment for me also and I think FFXIII will be too...when I heard about FF Versus XIII's Battle System being a more "realistic" version of KH's though I thought "I've got to get this game!" because IMO KHII had a way better Battle System than FFXII
 
the versus games looks AWEEEESOME. have you seen the trailer of the guy thats sitting on a throne then an army tries to attack him and he just single handedly wipes them out? it looks sooo good i cannot wait.
 
I loved FFXII so stuff it you haters!!.. But anyway Versus looks so bad ass I will have to get this game. Sucks that it may be a PS3 exclusive that just means mo' money and I won't be able to get it right away:mad:... and that trailer oh yeah good stuff.
 
Not sure. Need to wait for the reviews, game footage to come through before making a decision. I've saw the trailer and it does nothing for me really as of yet.
 
I would get it if I had a ps3 but i cant afford it and why get it ?Besides in a couple of years they might just might make one for wii or another console.And why waste 400 dollars on something just to play xiii versus.
 
i'm praying FFXIII goes back to it's roots and is a turn-based game, that's what GENUINE FF fans know and love. You find that most of FF's NEW fans like the real-time gameplay and instead of listening to the older fans i'd hate if Square-Enix listened to the new fans and kept the real-time battles..
