well, i´ve been wondering this for a while now... should i buy a nitendo Wii?? i mean... i´ve some pretty good titles on it but... we never know what comes next right? so... should i or not buy it? :O

Personally, I think it's a good buy. There are certainly many good games for it, and if all else fails, there is always an assortment of Mario and Zelda games that never fail to entertain. And when connecting to the internet through the console, you can actually download games to the Virtual Console. The Virtual Console has many of the older games from the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and the like. NES games typically cost $5 and SNES and Sega games cost $8. But I think overall, if you're in thought of whether it's worth the buy or not, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Eh. While I will say it would be worth it, I would really count how many games you plan to buy for it and make your decision based off that. For hardcore gamers the Wii has been known for having frequent gaming droughts. I've owned a Wii since 2007 and after SSBB came out, I didn't buy a game for it for about 8 months. After that I didn't buy another game for about a year. However thankfully so far this has been a good year for the Wii, as far as the hardcore fanbase goes since casually Wii always does well. So if you want one this would be a good time to buy one. $200 is not bad.

I don't see why not if you think the Wii is an appealing enough console for you. Its library of games does have a lot of fun to offer, from Wii Sports Resort to Mario Kart. They're normally the sort of games that I play in short bursts. And if the "casual" games soon turn out not to be of your liking, the Wii does sport a collection of good quality, more challenging titles such as Monster Hunter Tri, the Metroid games and the Zelda games. And of course, you get the Mario Galaxy titles which are considered two of the best platformers ever made allegedly.

And it doesn't stop there. As aforementioned, you get the Wii's store when you can download old titles onto the Wii itself, as well as new WiiWare titles. It's a great opportunity to try out the classics of the 8-bit and 16-bit eras if you think the appeal towards the Wii games themselves is dwindling. And due to the Wii's backwards compatibility, you can also run Gamecube games on it.

Yeah Ryuzacki. It should be a lot of fun. I've had my wii for a while and it's a really laid back system if that makes any sense. What I mean is there are a lot more fun/party titles and not really a lot of hardcore titles. You should enjoy it :)

definitely! i had tons of fun with it before mine got destroyed. nothing wrong with the system, my little brother just messed with it too much
