I believe that this is the only FF I do not own. I've always seen it in game stores and wondered if it is worth buying.

Somebody enlighten me...

Well if you're going to play it multiplayer it's definitely worth it. But on 1-P the game sucks... So it depeneds on how you're going to play the game.

Do you need a handheld (GBA I think) to play the mulitplayer or can you use just the gamecube?

you need the gba for it or the SP, but like they said above, its so much funner with more then one person, with all 4 its great, but with just one, the game gets boring.

You only NEED a GBA/SP for the multiplayer. You can play it perfectly fine in the 1-P with the Gamecube controller, using the GBA as a map/hint screen.

But it really shines when you get someone else in on the action. :D Multiplayer is the reason to buy the game, I think.

I'm not going to lie to you and say it is, cause it really isin't worth the money, I mean now it is since its only like 9 bucks in most stores

OK, I'll just be blunt. this game blows. big time. you do the same thing over and over in 1-p mode, and you absoulutely need a GBA and a GBA controller chord to play the multiplayer. I would just advise you to buy a GBA player for your gamecube and buying the older FF titles that are released for GBA. those are auctually worth your time.

Only buy this game if you're planning to play it with someone else. One-player gets tedious quickly, but playing with two or three people is great (and funny). You do need a GBA for every person that plays, so if you have friends or siblings that already own their own you'll be fine, but remember that you'll need a cable for each person as well.

I've haven't been able to play the multiplayer, but it sounds fun.

If you don't have anybody to play with, I as well, advise not getting it if you want something else. I got it 'cause it's FF, but that's about it.

I have the game...played it for a few hours (4 at the most) and got bored with it. I didn't like the fact that the characters don't really interact with each other. I don't know, I might play it again if I have absolutely nothing to do. I'll give it a few years.

I think that FF CC is worth it as a multiplayer and single player are fun cause you can play the game as long as you want until you have every artifact in the game.

It's not worth it, unless you want to buy it for collecting purposes. The game is rather boring, even if you have some people to play with. I assume you have a PS2 and perhaps a handheld or two, in that case there a dozens of RPGs that much more enjoyable than FF:CC that you could play.

I played it for a while, but to be honest this was a disappointment. If you don't play it with more than one person, the game gets boring. Multiplayer mode is of essence here and it's a huge pain to carry the Chalice everywhere you go and get attacked. Even with the mog behind your ass, it gets annoying, since the poor thing doesn't go where I want it to go XD

I hated this game. I played until I'd completed 13 years :| and even then, there wasn't any forseeable story. You could complete the game by only travelling to about 3 areas. I'd recommend that you don't waste your money

Ive palyed it single and mulit player and didnt enjoy it one bit. I took my copy back and dont regret it. Im just not attached to this game in any way, just doesnt appeal to me.

i thought the game could be fun in pats but thats about it, it has no story and is very repetative .... if you are looking for a good game that you can get stuck into then i wouldnt recommend this but if you can get it on the cheap its worth looking into because as i said it can be fun .... i havent played multiplayer but heard thats great
