What a butt head -__-

Seriously, I thought I had issues with Demyx(sp?) but this guy just did NOT want to die, he was like way too hard. It took me over an hour to finally get the better of him. Even Mickey turning up 5 times in a row didn't save my arse at one point, I swear half the time I was dying with out even getting a hit on him. I didn't think I'd fare to badly being level 42. Oh how wrong I was......

When I eventually did it (took me a good 15 minutes) I stood at a distance and blizzarded him as much as I could and just hoped for the best when I eventually got a decent hit on him, I swear, every time I touched him he ate my health. Oh and Shadow Sora can just eat me. More than once I got him to within a centimeter of health and I fooked up because of that muppet form

And omg, frustration much, I got stuck against a wall and I was just bouncing up and down off him for ages unable to move

Obseneties were hurled at the screen more than once

I NEVER want to see this dude EVER again. I thoroughly enjoyed watching him die -__-

/end rant :stare:

Oh and on a side note, looks like he used to be called Linda, the great big pansie

Did you ever try using the reaction command 'learn' and 'jump'? That pretty much wrecks his defence a tad and then his dragon attack is pretty much all you need to worry about.

That's how I tend to beat him, dodge his spear attacks while learning a few, then I use jump until I am empty and then combo or use knocksmash on him. I very rarely need to use Mickey apart from the odd one time.

I couldn't even press the triangle button with out him smashing me one in the chops, I think I pulled it off ONCE. My blood pressure was quite simply through the roof fighting this big tit

Ah, he is like that. i tended to hold the controller awkwardly so I could jump, run, use dodge roll and reaction command.

Very annoying process, good job I had cura I suppose. Saved my arse numerous times, I remember all the times I was running like crazy on 1hp :monster:

I just kept screaming at the tv to get Xaldin to leave me alone for a few seconds for my magic to recharge.

Hahaha that's what I was like.....altho I don't recal having dodge roll -__-

I wanted to cry when I couldn't heal and he was low on health and I KNEW I was gunna die because he was about to fry me with that beam thing from the side of the bridge -__-

If you had that problem you could just try bringing hi-potions or mega potions. And Donald and Goofy are good to have.

Donald can just heal you while you run for the hills while Goofy is there for the knocksmash... Which is one of the best limits imo.

I did but I was Shadow Sora at the time and I really just wanted to jump into the tv and wring his neck

I think I used up all my elixers, ethers, mega ethers, Hi-Potions.......

If I come up against anyone harder I think I'l just throw in the towel

Yeah, I rarely used forms, but when I used shadow sora... I somehow managed to do a great deal of pwning to his health, with the right speed he can be of use... Sometimes. I mainly stuck to regular form unless I was in need of health.

Reaction commands, like always, make the fight easy.

He's definitely one of the tougher foes in the game, though. If you beat him, you won't have to worry about getting stuck much in the future. The rest is downhill.

Ahhh, yes, I remember this dude. How I loathed him so. Took me good few times, but I eventually got there, with loooots of help from Mickey.

Olol, I remember you ranting about him over MSN, and, I was fighting Weiss, in the labratory place. It took me a couple of goes (try 6) and many many death runs to the shop.

That was a funny convo, the both of us where complaining and insulting the various boss we were facing :wacky:

Mickey kept saving my ass in this fight the first time I played the game.

Like the other's said, Learn/Jump helps a lot; the fact that you became Heartless Sora was just coincidence.

But his heartless form, while very fast, doesn't pack a lot of punch.

Unfortunately, I tend to get Shadow Sora ALOT. I have the worst luck ever

I'm getting pee'd off by Xigabar now,but I guess that's another rant thread

And as for the learn/jump reaction command I tried but it was just having none of it. That guy just had too many pointy bits -__-

Well have you tried levelling up the wisdom form? With the form ability (forgot name) that can make it easier to dodge his attacks.

The chances of going into Anti-Form depend on how many times you have gone into a successful Drive.

As for Xaldin,he isn't that hard if you learn his pattern. For the first few bars of health,he will use the spears. Just before he does it jump and mash triangle at the same time. You will usually get around 4 to 5 'Jumps'. Continue this until he starts to use that wind attack. When he does this, just use reflect.

He was the strongest one in the Organization -__- , but the reaction command was helpful, I keep pressing Learn till I have 30 or something then start attacking him :monster:

I despise the shadow form. That damn form has screwed me over so many times.

Is it possible to dismiss that form? I want to say it isn't, but I wouldn't be my life on it. Either way, it isn't that strong and you can't cast magic or use items while using it. Poop form.

I found antiform to be quite useful, it is the fastest attacking form until you get final, and it easily has the best combos which can stuin the enemy til you get massive chains of damage. (I actually beat Xemnas' first form in antiform, pwned him :monster:)

And Gabs, that is slightly wrong, using final form decreases the chance of entering antiform I have heard. I personally never enter antiform if I choose final.

I found antiform to be quite useful

Same here, although I only found it useful when there was a mass number of enemies rather than one powerful boss or something like that.
The only thing that annoyed me about the Xaldin battle was that it was situated on a bridge and there was hardly anywhere to go >_<

I wasn't wrong, I just forgot to mention it. Yeah Final Form takes 5 points away from going into anti-form. Master adds 2 and the rest adds 1. Going into anti-Form reduces it by...around 5.

As for Anti-Form, it was pretty useless since I prefer to use a guard + reflect and 2-3 hit combo move on all bosses. This works for ALL organization bosses. especially Saix.
